Premium Member Pierrot and the Moon

She stands on the lamppost
as if the world below
were only a rumor,
her cabaret silks
fluttering like thoughts
she hasn’t confessed.

The moon leans down,
slow and luminous,
a face she’s loved
from too far away.
Tonight she kisses it~
not to claim it,
but to prove
that longing
can be brave.

Her umbrella hangs
like a question
she no longer needs.
Her top hat tilts
toward possibility.
And the lamppost,
that thin spine of earth,
holds her steady
as she chooses wonder
over gravity.

Some say she’s foolish.
Some say she’s dreaming.
But Pierrot knows
the hidden message:
the heart climbs
where logic won’t,
and sometimes
the impossible
is simply waiting
for someone
to touch it.

Each day carries new hope and new opportunities
I have learned to keep my eyes open for chances
to recognize special moments, demonstrate optimism, and
spread kindness in a world that needs all of the above

Unseen Love

I watch you laugh with her,
A spark in your eye that never turns my way.
In the quiet corners of my heart,
I hold a love you’ll never see.

I catch glimpses when you look away,
Moments that might have been mine.
You speak and smile with her,
And I fold myself quietly into the space beside.

I stay close in the small things,
The brush of your hand, the sound of your laugh.
Even if you don’t notice me now,
My love drifts softly, waiting to be seen.

I imagine what it would be like,
To be the one you turn to first,
To share a moment that could have been ours,
A spark that lingers, even just for a second.

Maybe I’ll catch your eye across the room,
A fleeting look that says nothing, yet everything.
A pause that holds a quiet possibility,
Where for a moment, it could be just us.

Yet, I remain,
A quiet witness to your joy,
Hoping, perhaps,
One day, you’ll see me too.

Noise of Experience

My body is insulated. Covered in foil and wrapped in plastic,
shielded from threat. From posing possibilities of change.
Foam padded walls keep cold hunkered down, warmth at bay.
Safety nets kept taut. My highwire trapeze is checked away from spotlight.
My body is quiet, my body is calm, my body is simple. My body has a little life
far from the hustle and noise of experience. My body is insulated, safe. Alone.

A Masterpiece Conceived

I’m fully out of my slumber,
now knowing poems aren’t born in dreams,
but from a mind dipped deep in ink,
a brain awash with quiet resilience.

Yet in its silent agony, the paper stares blank—
befuddled by the jargon the nib dares spill,
deepening laughter in the sponsor’s folly,
rejoicing with the writer’s block
still unperturbed within my brain.

But there’ll be no excuse for defeat’s glare to scare;
so long as my mind stays sane and sound,
my “impossibility” shall be read as “it’s my possibility.”
Just give me time—and my fears will flee.

So fill again the pen that refused to write for glory.
Where is that page that once denied my excellence?
Within its belly, a masterpiece lies full-term,
ready—aching—to be born.

Take strength, my weary muscles.
Flee away, all stubborn sleeps—
for your absence shall birth my excellence.

A new possibility

I think of you often
Maybe more than I should
My thoughts run wild
Like animals in the woods

Your eyes seem to touch my soul
You look straight into my heart
My emotions want to spill from my mouth
But I'm scared to let myself start

Your smile could brighten the cosmos
The warmth and love can really be seen
I can't help but listen to every word you say
Yours is a beauty that is pristine

I fear only one thing about this
That I might chase you away
But your personality so strong
I don't want to challenge you just yet

Our conversations are surface level
Yet I feel something deeper
Do you feel the same?
I really wonder

In Between

In between
Between the cognitive and the dissonance
Between the lover and the loved
Cradled in the arms of Vishnu I am the infinite possibility
Between states of matter is where I hold my potential
I crave to be held but who’s hands are big enough to hold infinity
Perhaps it’s a matter of bravery rather than scale
The silence between the words, I am deafening

Premium Member Chasing What Isn’t Mine

The child pursues melodies I’ll never understand,
the notes wallowing through my fingertips like grains of sand.
But in the distance a flute laughs, softly,
a zither weeping its baleful notes—
both distant, blunt, and foreign.

I fell here once,
at the border of sound and silence,
hit by a blade I didn’t see coming.
Whose shadow loomed, blade in hand?
The answer is buried deep in the night,
stretching long and wide,
refusing to end,
refusing to begin.

Dreams of possibility

Someone, tell this woman that it's okay to dream, to envision a life beyond what it seems. In her hands, she holds the key to worlds of possibility, of what could be. She reads, she learns, she dares to hope. With every story, she finds her scope. Books are her wings, lifting her high.

For today, a reader; tomorrow, she'll fly. But tell her it's not just about dreaming; it's working towards that gleam. Whisper to her softly: "Today, a reader; tomorrow, a leader." This isn't just a theme. Let her know that, despite how tough it may seem, the future is bright, secured by her dreams.

Every challenge faced, every mountain climbed, is just a step closer to the goals she's aligned with. With perseverance and heart, she'll find her way. For the future is hers, come what may.

You Can

Focus on you,
Zoom on you,
Inside you,
See all in you,
Always with you,
Meant for you,
For a better you.

And,
Change your reality,
Take every opportunity,
To see possibility,
In every difficulty,
Because what you see,
Is what you get,
And each word from you,
Will create a world for you.

See,
You've waited for so long,
Now
Your wings are so strong,
Flap them into a song,
To reach the place you belong,
At your own pace,
Soaring high like an eagle,
Into your purpose,
Your destiny, I suppose.

Premium Member A Garden Full of Possibility

As the edge of the day end earth calls to the sun
Know I find in you a sense of calm, a feeling of fun
I am not a crow seeking something glimmering
A sign of appreciation, for you are everything
This is whom I hope, may ever succumb to be
Sharing passionately the me, I want your world to see
I found pure light on the damp pedals, in a garden full of possibility
Planted throughout it, a field of your beautiful hope inspired personality

I felt the earth beneath my feet; firm, grounded, grass so sweet.
I heard the birds chatting joyfully of hope, love, serenity..
I dug in the dirt.
It whispered to me, of newness, growth, possibility..

QUOTE FROM ALAN WATTS~~~ZEN MASTER.

“LIFE IS THE WAY IT IS; AND LIFE IS THE WAY, IT ISN’T.”

Are we not wanting things to be otherwise?
As we dialogue in poetic disguise?

It’s impossible to stop complaining!
To be happy in the rain takes training!

To move on and grow, you must be and let go.
And stop kvetching, your are in the wrong show!

You can create and incredible life.
Even when your days are filled with strife.

Then you can bloom like God’s flower.
And live in total joy, in any hour!

                10/2/2022

Tribute to Alan Watts… thank you for affecting my life.

Possibility

It's possible
              unite the man,
              man to the divine !
               If when he touches
                the flower,
               emits the sound
               who sings and plays
                love... !

To My Beautiful One - Never Say Impossible

You and I are
like two molecules of oxygen
floating in the air
not knowing
in what direction we are going
in our own dreams,
and in real life,
by whom we will be inhaled
and in the end in what way
we will be exhaled

Nevertheless,
we have one unique chance,
one in a billion,
or with a good guess,
one in a million,
What if we are both inhaled
by two different pairs of molecules of hydrogen
and make up two drops of water,
Then, we may fall to the same ground,
into the same river, the same lake
or the same sea
where by a pure coincidence,
we may come together,
I strongly feel
our reunion seems unstoppable,
Now, let's wait and see
but never say impossible
