Zen Thoughtts

Are we not wanting things to be otherwise?
As we dialogue in poetic disguise?

It’s impossible to stop complaining!
To be happy in the rain takes training!

To move on and grow,you must be and let go.
And stop kvetching, your are in the wrong show!

You can create and incredible life.
Even when your days are filled with strife.

Then you can bloom like God’s flower.
And live in total joy, in any hour!

His classic, “Zen Flesh, Zen Bones”, came out in 1957! An instant hit. And still avaialabe at Amazon. He was on WFMT FM in the same city. Tibetan Buddhism, I find of interest also.i met the thirteenth Karmapa of Tibet in SF and was blessed by him! He is similar in power to the Dalai Lama. I served food at a mansion that hosted him. He blessed the fruits,wow. Never tasted food like that before! TY for the reading tip. Pangie
