Sitting here with the wind,
as it swats at my hair.
The sun dancing with clouds,
with them our part will share.
The interplay of light,
that decries nature's sway.
Holds too the lost secrets,
of a more godly day.
From afar came the gods,
to plant the seeds of time.
Where desire can be king,
and a common man shine.
History will point out,
the man with iron will.
Who comes with a mission,
for a god to fulfill.
The ancient dark drama,
where a man has to choose.
from having everything,
when his life he must lose!

the monster inside
wants me to hide
it wants to come out
that’s without a doubt
it rears its ugly head
filling me with dread
it tempts me to spiral
the monster’s gone viral
it’s going to get me in trouble
I can no longer stay in my bubble
I need to tame the beast
like an exorcism and a priest
it sees me when I’m mad
it likes it when I’m bad
it comes out when there’s jealousy
it hangs around like leprosy
I see it trying to get nearer
every time I look in the mirror
it tells me I’m not good enough
but I’m about to call its bluff
I see its horns, I see its claws
it tries to point out all my flaws
I see it’s stupid toothy grin
and it’s scaly brick colored skin
i grab it by its feet and take it for a spin
it says “I’m never gonna let you win”
I throw it across the room and say
‘time to go outside and play’
I kick its butt on out the door
“don’t worry I’ll be back for more”
I say “idc I’m not keeping score
you can’t control me anymore”

the dogs are barking violently
at an intruder I cannot see
a delivery man comes into sight
fearing he might become their next bite
They are penned, I point out to him
He does not look confident, his body thin
He throws the package and runs off
I roll my eyes and the dogs both scoff

(based on Psalm 23)
Verse 1
I don’t need much — not when You’re here
You find me a place where the noise disappears
Grass under my back, sky overhead
And quiet water where I clear my head
Verse 2
You don’t push — You wait, You breathe
You let me rest, You let me be
Then You point out a path I can trust
And somehow, I follow — not because I must
Chorus
Even when it’s dark, I don’t shake
Even when the road gives way
You’re not a voice from far away
You’re right beside me — You stay
Verse 3
There’s danger around, but You set a table
I’m shaking, but somehow I’m still able
To eat, to drink — You lift my face
Like I’m not out of place in this place
Bridge
You never promised easy
But You’ve never let me go
I’ve doubted You in daylight
But You’ve stayed through every low
And somehow love keeps chasing me
Like it knows just where I’ll be
Final Chorus
Even when I run, You don’t let go
Even when I break, You still see hope
You walk me home — no shame, no sound
Just You and me, on holy ground
Note: Nothing brings greater comfort and joy than being loved and led by my Shepherd!

caged in form, memory erased
constrained by a fragmented mind
sensory inputs leave us dazed
to light of Self within heart blind
scriptures cajole us to explore
truth of being and so awake
by being still, making heart pure
lust and fear choosing to forsake
with head and heart poised in balance
viewing life like a lucid dream
mood and mode vibrant nonchalance
we sing a song on love’s moonbeam
in timeless time, ego recedes
we dwell in the eternal now
through our hands God performs His deeds
with each heartbeat in joy we bow
with thoughts rested, time too slows down
we recognise space is a veil
at peace within, in bliss we drown
soma nectar our preferred ale
in as ordained, our ego drops
the dead leaf falls off from the tree
the universe fades and time stops
revealing our Self, at last free
living light, shaped like a heartbeat
is who we are, outside space-time
self-existent, feeling complete
in peace it renews heart’s love chime
holy scriptures point out the way
prompting us to metamorphose
that we may see God, clear as day
whilst resting in blissful repose

A very rich man, not the one who springs to mind
likes to leave behind as many children as he can
Clearly, it would be wrong to have an affair with so many women, almost immoral, where emotions disturb the proceedings, therefore, artificial insemination is used
The rich man is in a sterile room, masturbating into a tube, the result he hands to a flunky who carries the result into another room where the business is done, but sometimes things go wrong and he has to repeat, for this there is a stack of pornographic pictures he can look until he get an ******** suitable for the purpose
Sometimes a baby girl is born, which he accepts but would rather have boys; he aims to have thirty children and hopes there is no mishap generations ago giving him a child of the wrong race. Should this happen, he will not despair, but happily point out he is not a racist

If I had a pet shark
I would name him Pete
He and I would swim together in a coral reef
I would point out game, and he would laugh
I would teach Pete how to speak American
I would teach him how to read
so that he could read my little hit list
I would point out who he should eat
I would skip cursive though
No one uses that any more

I gifted my nephew a book.
He’s going to admire the colors and the happy faces inside
while the words are read to him by someone more senior.
He will point out the pumpkins, the kittens, the rainbows
and smile ear to ear with excitement and laughter.
He will reach out to turn the cardboard pages
before the sentence is even finished.
He will bounce up and down on the lap of the reader
while it gets closer and closer to the end.
I gifted my nephew a book.
One about how he’s the apple of my eye, the stars in my sky, the pumpkin to my pie.
One about how I will be with him always.
That our lives are forever intertwined.
His purity is admirable.
He embraces the rain, he sees no gray.
His innocence is peaceful
as he can sniff out what is true and avoid what is not.
His naivety is blissful
as he associates me with love and play, comfort and care.
He knows nothing within the deeper levels of my being,
but he still loves me.
I gifted my nephew a book.
A promise to him that I will be by his side, endlessly.

Try versus wife to win and see,
Weigh her words nor loud din and see.
Unless game to sleep all night out,
Dare say, to truth you lean and see.
Find her fault and try to point out,
Dare keep up keen your chin and see.
You might be a poet of weight,
Play to her ‘that old been’ and see.
At work you wear a weighty hat,
Try, show her a dust bin and see.
Not to weigh her words is big sin,
Try not to her mood lean and see.
For sure, you are no king at home,
Doubt, God forbid, she’s queen and see.

Beware of Time
She won't love what came before
Time loves but Itself
A true Narcissist
She won't turn her head for you
Although outstretched
Her arms won't point out the next bend
Arrow hands never to embrace
Methodically she schemes
In metronomic steps
Only up towards Babel
To reach the Gods who Thunder
To become One Herself
Time won't wait for you
Time cares not for you
To the end of Itself
Time wants to be revered
Don't make time for Time
She won't reminisce

I guess that was his pizza I said without a frown
My boyfriend who had stood, rapidly sat back down
I thought you were going to chase him I say
As long as they bill him, I’m good with it, says Jay
Glad he did not pick up the wrong pizza I point out
You mean our pizza? We would have both gave him a pout.
We cannot stop laughing, giggling like loons
He gave us a nod, and sent over six bright thank you balloons

1. In every decision I make,
And every step I take,
I see it through your eyes,
Which makes me realize that
I am a better person than you, and that's a fact.
'Cause you would have twisted the story,
Taken offense, and started a fight.
2. You see the worst in people,
Point out all my flaws in public
Bring your lies to the dinning table
While I still find myself struggling to find good in your soul,
You keep breaking my heart into folds.
3. I am not being proud,
I just want to say out loud,
That karma is a ,
And babe, she has you on her list.
4. I am sad now,
And you are glad.
You think you know better, but you don't.
Honey, you are the 'worst' you see in me.
5. I thought I had a bad sense of judgement,
Crossing paths with you,
Realizing yours is just irrational.
6. I was wrong to assume you were good,
When you helped me at school.
Still, I know you aren't all bad,
Like the world, you are more than black and white.

sleek and sneaky, stealthy too wherever they go
sixties cats crawl around sixties beatnik row
their eyes are squinted, they know where it is at
we are careful not to point out their ears are flat
they have a look only seen back in the day
they are always black, never orange, tan or gray
the sixties cats sit in sixties chairs, streamlined and fine
modern we thought back in those olden times
