Mad as hatters, fed on matters
Older than, mercury and time,
Reflects the way we were made
By nervous webs, being spun
Deep inside Minerva's mind;
Like the way, we came of age
In misty mornings, spent reflecting
On our losses and our gains.
Drop the mike, the pigs are here
They are singing their snouts off in holiday cheer!
We ran to the window and saw the happy three
They were deep in their cups, singing loudly in glee
Drop the mike, they have ruined all other songs
They are always right, they are never wrong!
We had to laugh at the exuberance of our younger child
Until this second he had been quiet and mild
A politician will no longer tell a lie
Not another civilian in war will die
Indigenous peoples are given their land back
People of colour are no longer under attack
We stop polluting the sea and the sky
All this will happen when pigs start to fly.
(Goldilocks)
One bear - two bears- baby makes three,
Mommy making hot berry tea and brie.
Soup is way too hot,
No sleep on a soft cot.
New home and not needing to flee.
(Little Red Riding hood)
Mommy gave me good advice,
maybe I should have listened twice.
A wolf I did find,
lost my love and mind
Now pregnant paying the price.
(The Three Little Pigs)
We are three of a family kind,
except one got caught in the wind.
One got caught by the fire,
he was in a house fryer.
Wanting new homes space aged designed.
Avoid current politics please,
But that seems an impossibility, geez~
Seems better to remember
Old Miss Thompson’s advice:
Don’t talk politics if you can’t talk nice,
Or at least leave it ‘til November!
I asked her out. D'ya think I have good chances?
She said, "yes, under certain circumstances:
if pigs fly or they have wings,
if they dances or if they sings,
and since I think that you're so cute,
I'll go out with you if they play flute."
Lie down with dogs
everyone knows
and get up with fleas
so the story goes
or if falling from a dizzy height
the gravity of the siuation might
have you near in a tizzy
calling out in fear and fright
atho' wallow with pigs
below by the hollow
or in some such place
as a sty filled with crud
and if you shovel the stuff
for long enough
it will stick to your shoes
and on your face
you will have mud
but not only that
you'll have egg on it too
so keep it under your hat
whatever you do
Wee Willy Winkie
and three wee pigs
had a wee drinkie
more than a swig
before going to bed
but woke in the wee hours
with a sore head
and the need to wee so
into the woods
behind a tree they did go
(one pig collected twigs)
when outside in the wee distance
there came a wild wee howl
oh no... the Big Bad Wolf
then was heard more than a wee growl
altho' not spent yet afeared for their lives
a wee farther to roam
Winkie's wee willie and three wee pigs
went wee wee wee all the way home
Alone the demon sleeps–
Alone the demon weeps.
Last night mother died–
Last night father cried.
Yet here I sit by the windowsill,
Watching the doves fly by.
Pigs squeal
They also lie
Wudja expect
from a creature
that lives in a sty
Piggies Pinky, Poinky, and Puck
were sloshing in the summery farmyard's murky muck.
It was the day before slaughter,
and they were enjoying the lukewarm water,
and the chorus of the cackly goose and the quaky duck.
All States have Deep States
They are dark, dangerous and delusional
But they control and control they do well
How are the world wars contrived?
Are these deep states stirring the pot?
What can we do individually to help?
Thousands are dying
Millions are crying
Yet countries are vying..
Vying to gain control and dominate
They share no love with the common man
It's as if the devil has surfaced and shown himself
I cry with my head in my hands
And I plead to the New World Order...
Please stop the killing fields
The young and the old, the women and the sick...
All are victims of innocence
When will the bombs stop?
You rest and you drink your tea
While soldiers hide in cold trenches
Not knowing when they will meet the next deadly bullet
I for one, care!
Stop the insanity!!
End all wars please!!!
Every headline in the papers read...WAR!
Every member from the government said... MORE!
Every mother crying in her bed...IMPLORE!
Every soldier lying stone cold dead...WHAT FOR?
There once was a man who lived in the graves,
for many demons had made him their slaves.
But when Jesus he met
he would never forget
this complete stranger, willing to make waves.
When no longer the demons could torment
to a swine herd, they besought to be sent.
Jesus met their request;
human herd coalesced
all supplying their advice and dissent.
To steer clear of more demon disaster,
the man pleaded to make Jesus, Master.
"Go home," Jesus commends,
"with your neighbors be friends -
what I need now is a good newscaster."
they do
and sheep possess concentration levels
that allow them to watch television
which is extraordinary
and so is broccoli
i like polo mints
my daughter calls them doughnut mints
her favourite book is called 'stop that cow'
which involves a 357 mag with an 8-inch barrel
a pig in a forty-nine dollar wig
the agitated cow asks, "you wouldn't happen to have
a pack of cigarettes."
the guinea hog replies, "i don't smoke."
"i didn't think so."
i met my best friend in a cafe
he told me statistics mean nothing
