My dreams are to swim in stars above.
Just to gaze at starry sky :I love.
     Wonderful blue sapphires to twinkle
     like clusters of pretty periwinkles.

     In charcoal night solemn solitude
stays in serene sublime placid mood.
Phases of Moon not that important
Tapestry of stars always to enchant.

      From garden comes jasmine aroma.
      Up above starry panorama
Pristine peace , I can feel as best bliss.
Flashed sweetest memory of first kiss.

Hazy silhouette spreads on Milky Way .
Cosmic glaze of distant stars to sway
with reminiscence of my amour ! Though
long lost : Only despondency to glow.

Tea Tales

Come and climb these
Broad bony branches and
Have tea on this tree
with me,
Let's talk our hearts out
Into the poems unsung.

Sleep silently singing in my sizzly eyes,
Sleep might snap with some pumpkin chai,
The sun is seeping in my sulky bones,
Soon the milky moon will mysteriously be alone,
Here, have some squishy scone
While the sun is setting sleekly,
I reckon we should have tea weekly.

Sandalwoody sultry summer,
Hyacinth, hibiscus and hummers,
Poppies, primroses and periwinkles,
The night in esoteric eyes twinkle,
Starling singing on a starless night,
No gloom, a moon , no light,
In this sordid slumber silence,
I can hear your eyes speak.

Let's tell each other
All our hearts hanker
To say,
Drink tea and recite
The poems and make
No delay,
I'll have chamomile tea,
I'm not Mrs. Bennet
But it'll calm my nerves,
You like your tea with herbs,
Spearmint, rosemary and thyme,
And make sure the poem rhymes.

Premium MemberInk me in stars

"My soul ceases to stroll ~
in the ruffled leaves of lotus letters,
                 whose paper sun
has never surfed to your seabeds..."

                                ~ quote by the poet.

Say, I'll be the saviour-spell
...for your champagne stars, sinking
in eyes eclipsed by cupid
where orphans of daylight, dwell

when I am nothing... but pain
a puppet princess, dethroned
I dream to be your heartbeat
...pearled in peace periwinkles

when poetry is Psyche
...freckled in my fogged marrow
and petals fall, pulse by pulse
ink me feathered, in grape-golds

if the hydra hymns forget
to breathe my name in silence
O' love, I'll bask ~ laced with lores
healed in you...like a poem

Merrys Land

Candescence

Auburn plains spread before me while the sun dips in curtsy to the moon.
Violet hued reds against pastel periwinkles radiate out in a cloud of color amongst the obscuring fog, becoming spirits.

The weeping willow bows in its lonesome and waits for autumn's death driving gaze.
The warm grasp of steaming apples and the cool whisper of winter's arrival blooms moments so unique and so familiar.

Cinders and ash pierce through cavities barren and hallowed by years of sheltering storms.
Proffered supplies of acceptance present problems for denial.

ON STARRY NIGHT

      Starry night.
      Darkness fights.

      Sapphires shine
      glow. glisten.

      Periwinkles
       to twinkle.

     Moon crescent
     looks descent.

      Ambient
      Calm silent.

      Tranquil:
      Peace to feel.

    Stream flowing
    Breeze blowing.

     Ripples gleam
    in Moon beam.

    Waves on haste
     propagate.

     On stream strand
     couple stands.

   Two dreamers
   Leaves murmur.

    Happy pair:
   Drowsy stare.

   Face to face
   Tight embrace

    Kiss with thrill
    Love to seal.

Love Letter From the Soul Xxxiv

Soul,

"Even the mind fades with time . There’s no escaping it. One has to make the most of it (the mind) while they still have time and some youth left. What stays beautiful is the soul." LLB

Laid down with the dropping of the ball
the joyous clinks ringing in a year,
party hats, strange first kisses,
inconspicuous memory lapses,
time marching on,
in seconds it all but disappears

fresh starts, disrobing dissertations
interludes
listening to music, assessing the wind

moments meant to be held
not without meaning
sharing what we have
not what we have not

pressing your being on top my chest
laying claim to your riches
engulfing the scent
for you alone it carries my name

twinkles amid periwinkles
surrounded in a gaze
pure harmony and grace
a place
to call more than just a home

the bells of Saint Raphael are ringing
gently, my heart beats in tune, singing
flowery words quietly are filling up
the vastness of the oceans

there is no need to rush
slowly we build
fortunes fulfilling foundations
freedom to breathe
forevers to live

Love Letter From the Soul Xiii

Moon,

Through the periwinkles it rests
rich, red, radiant, persuaded
in lines
we soon would not forget

jubilance unfurled
a jade resemblance of romance
resounding and reminiscing
in every word
in every field
in every feel

the moon gifted to my hand
brilliance burst at the seam
of time
of rythmn, of rhyme

reflection of sun, not
but an inflection
of what has just begun

hints of honeysuckle
dripped upon your trail
where lost can be found
and the desperate resound

sun showers have turned on
heat of the night warms up to the day
take no mind, birds, or what is sung

flawlessly,
all your flowers have sprung

About the Vibrant Meadow

I was wandering a meadow,
Rather far away from home—
Still I had no destination,
Save for this, to simply roam.

And so it was I wandered,
Then I wandered even more—
Discovering the grandest things
In my efforts to explore.

And about the vibrant meadow,
I discovered something new—
The daffodils were yellow,
And the periwinkles, blue!

So it was I learned a lesson,
As I did, when but a child;
No artist has yet fashioned—
What it is painted in the Wild!

Periwinkle

Growing in my garden in the Texas heat
blooms of periwinkles so petite
lavender and pink and white
ever smiling bright
in array
luscious
grand display
showing graciously
bowing ostentatiously
to the summer breezes blowing soft
greeted by the puffy clouds that drift aloft

The Colour Blue

Blue it is, when turquoise sparkles its thoughts,
Blue are the skies of romance, when lovers walk, hand in hand.
Blue, though in vivid contrast and saturation is the ocean,
Blue, very blue: forget-me-nots and periwinkles too.
Blue skies so bright, warm and welcoming, behind the sun’s guiding light.

Blue are the skies that glow in a little child’s dream,
Blue are oceans that roar their stories of power,
Blue, still it glows over the bright red sunset when lovers kiss.
Blue is the velvet of the breeches of royal footmen, glowing all its different hues.
Blue is solemnity, colour of sadness and despair…
Blue, through all its breathtaking hues...
Colours our lives with its own radiance.

Reflection of Dreams

Our dreams reflected on the shallow pool.
                           Wild elephant grasses in panorama.
                           Spent myriad moments, beautiful!
                              Pink Periwinkles spreading mild aroma.

Shadow of broken bridge partly visible,
reflecting shape of an eye just under
round stone at the edge looked like black pupil.
We got amused observing eighth wonder.

                                Enjoyed the kaleidoscope of butterflies.
Fed ducks-ducklings, listened to loud cricket.
Swift squirrel scrambling, scudding, climbing trees.
Dreams reflected on two hearts. Days went great.

On the broken abandoned bridge we met
to experience first kiss on First Date.

Prior to March
Sunlight streams brilliant
Streaked silver veils.
Periwinkles bloom in amber dew;
Glossy azure blossoms
Rusty vermilion.

Premium MemberTo Fail Well

Fowl meadow grass - Glyceria striata - the striations
on the lemma. Drooping rachis
a weeping willow of a grass.

Recurring periwinkles, myrtle, Vinca.
Helicopter petals. Evergreen leaves.
Escaped from gardens, alien or native?

A little further by the spruce stand
a new mustard, cuckoo flower - Cardamine -
with pinnately compound leaves. What a find!

A good day turns bad.
After you've died, one of them dogs digs up your grave.
You may sit in the rain and think.

Maiden pink.
The dark circle inside the flower
a g-string or garter.

O to fail well. To lay low. To live long.
To run slow. Feel the hill. Pressing down.
Do less. Until one thing's done well.

Weathered Windows

Weathered Windows

Savor the meadow as far as eyes grasped;
Wildlife walk gingerly;
Walked behind them, nodded.
Purple and orange wildflowers
Just didn't fit.
Twenty one posts with mildew
Surrounded the thrown out periwinkles;
Left their fate to cover a virgin path.
A path followed by newly dismissed seeds, pods;
Shown with individuality.
Brown, stiff stalks topped with feathers.
Where did the passion fall away.
With gusto and charms, looked high and blinked.
Imagine so.
Sharpened vision chased the clues;
Brought them closer, fractured two or three.
Saw a wood pile stacked
Oh so crookedly yet seasoned for the coming cold snaps:
Carried two by two, four by five bundles.
Took only two to stack back away.
Cellar doors, grey colored, worn away
Weathered down to the granny apple color
Which, by the way, wasn't so offensive at all.
Known by those passed to another time;
Not to be abandoned nor evicted.
Gave faith with brilliant touches;
Gven to those with arms held out.
To envelop with the reached up hope
To culminate what was a yesterday, then.
