Palindromes Poems

Contrast Two Palindromes

cold stars crying, wilted flowers lying
candles burning, tears melting
dark nights, lost rights, rusted chains
blurry mornings broken wings
-desperation-
wings broken mornings blurry
chains rusted, rights lost, nights dark
melting tears, burning candles
lying flowers wilted, crying stars cold
…………………………………………………………

roses red fresh, infinite tenderness
love eternal happiness, star shining
dreams restored, smiling sun
faith renewed, bluebirds singing
-expectation-
singing bluebirds, renewed faith
sun smiling, restored dreams
shining star, happiness

I was driving with my friend Delia in my brand new Honda Civic
It was noon and we were on our way to see my Auntie,
she’s my mum’s sister, we call her Evil Olive!
Suddenly I swerve to avoid something in the road and skid on some dumb mud -
Was it a cat I saw?
Won’t

Name now one man who doesn't love a sunrise,
The bright sun when it does peep out in summer,
It sure does wow the human eyes,
And by noon  time, leaves one warmer;

Autumn sees beautiful colours aplenty,
The leaves turn brighter and redder by the day,
Golden branches shed their level leaves gently,
Dewed

The grass "dewed" in spring’s early morning shimmer
Upon a crocus lay an "alula" in the sun with a glimmer
A symbol of many flights on every "level" there is to be
Whether it be "solos" or those together, feeling free

Often at "noon" Robin hop across the sunny land
Their "stots" fun to watch, then so still they do

Palindromes of a Love Lost

Shall I borrow or rob what matters most to him?
He was born to live evil in a new era of temptation.
For my beloved Ed is on no side that matters most
and I deified him; I put up with his refer of infatuation.

I neven to him… ”what level do you think I am

Evil Olive was cruel and vile to her employee Anna
She forced her to stack cats which had died
Anna was distraught and wanted to leave
Damm It I'm Mad to work here poor Anna cried

Madam, I’m going to walk out of the door
Anna’s face grew redder as she shed a tear
She said I won’t step on no

Palindromes - a Great Day Out

Maram grass dewed.
An adda takes a chance,
And, drinks from the dewed Maram,
Ere the sun dried it.
Now full of pep was awa.
Saw, I was astounded!
Or did I just imagine?
Our deed done, clock says home.
Otto called, "We are late, come on"!
"Nan will be worried"!
"Ata", I screamed, then ran!
Home, nan greeted us
with some pop fruit flavoured.
Mmm, fresh

Palindrome Panic

A dog! A panic in a pagoda!
A teen named Bob, a can of cream soda.
With one eye shut, he shook and pulled the tab.
The boob was too slow for Cain, choc’late lab.

Cain: a maniac, the mad dog's head swelled;
god’s dog saw the fizz, a rat he now smelled.
He was gigantic, ergo, a ogre -
level headed

Speaking ON CONTAMINATED HONEY

If tief be the honey
then the honey be
not fit.
Not a bee, but a
fly flew in it.
Paused, causes a rift,
A rift caused
families to drift swiftly.
A rift it will be-
If honey worth money
caused a tief;
Maybe it was
unable to be sifted,
Though the fly was lifted.
