A place that is non-existent in today’s life of a constant upwhirl. 
Our dreams and aspirations are put to the side.  
To get ready for the day of demands and haste for pride.

to be of use
without abuse
there’s no excuse
a bit obtuse?
well-cooked my goose?
slide on the noose?

spread the news
do not confuse

We spend many hours on things that please us,
spending little time upon our knees with Jesus.
Who went to the cross,
as payment for dross,
When born again, from past sin He frees us.

I paid no heed to the call of the sirenS

For your expense paid treat gave me first time visit,
And I, on friendly shores of my mother's birth, rejoiced.
