Jesus paid price for our Sins

In the beginning, God's love did shine
Creating the world, and all that is mine
But sin entered in, and darkness did reign
Separating us from God, and causing such pain

But God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son
To save us from sin, and bring us back to Him
Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God, came to earth
To live, to love, and to give us new birth

He died on the cross, to pay the price for our sin
And rose again, to conquer death and win
He gave us His Spirit, to guide and to empower
To live a life of love, and to fulfill His hour

As Christians, we follow Him, and walk in His way
With faith, hope, and love, we live each passing day
We share His message, and spread His love far and wide
To bring others to Him, and to be His light in the world's dark side

May our lives be a reflection of His glory and grace
As we live out our faith, and run the race with pace.
