. Not long ago I had
                                done something wrong
                                 committed a sin and
the pain that I felt was
                                 as real and suffocating
                                  as any physical pain
                                I’d ever felt. My shame
                               and my sadness were so
heavy upon me, the guilt ached in my heart. The realization then
came to me if I felt so wounded and broken and ashamed and
separated from my Father what then did it feel like to be You? I realized
the harshness of your sentence. The pain and guilt I now felt, You my
Jesus felt that multiplied by every sin I had ever committed or will ever.
                                   Oh my God your love
                                 Sins from the beginning
of our creation until it is
                                finished It’s no wonder to
                                 me now that your heart
                                  burst within you. To be
                                  blameless and willingly
                                pay for our transgressions
                                To take upon yourself and
be so guilty that your Father
could not look upon You. Forgive
me my Lord for the pain I have
grieved you and for the grief I
will continue to cause. I will
                                never understand your love

Debts Paid

Pieced together thin slices
like a slivered moon
mosaic
cobbled snapshots of splendor and pain

Fractured glints of crashed boundaries
uncollected past dues
mingled souls’ shredded fabric
a patchwork insane

shimmered moonglow does knock on
your window each night
poke your nose through the fog
and unlock the safety chain

My Lord, what more need I ask of you?
For you have left your throne of light
Came to this place of shadows
Wherein lies treachary
And sin rules the days...
Taking my place
Soul redeemed
By your
Blood

Were I to live a thousand lives
Lay the worlds' treasures at your feet
Perform stringent penance
I could never return
The ransom you paid...
Crucifixion
By your blood
I am
Free!

With lies you tried to hide your furtive eyes~
but breadcrumbs left impressions you betrayed,
and finding out the truth behind your guise
did shatter loving life that we portrayed.

Through multi-colored shards of memories;
the fierceness of reflections makes me bleed
from humble heart, life-stealing reveries
now crush me like a centipede stampede.

Your fangs were poisonous a thousand bites,
so nonchalant you stabbed me with your sins.
You buried me in shallow grave of smites,
alone, ascetic life for me begins.

My appetite in apathy, man-made;
in belladonna berries love was paid.

Your Debt Is Paid In Full

I got a phone call the other day,
But little to my surprise,
A bill collector was calling.
And I began to realize.

“Hello, ma’am. I have a message for you.”
The bill collector did say.
“You’re late on your payment, send us this sum,
And send it to us today.”

I hung up the phone while he was still talking,
And walked away downhearted as all.
I promised myself, the next time the phone rang,
That I would not answer their call.

A few minutes later, I began to cry
Remembering all the wrong things I’ve done.
Accusing memories of sins I’d repented of
And the very things I’ve been trying to shun.

Satan was dunning me for sins in my past,
Just like the bill collectors do.
Still wanting me to pay, with guilt to spare,
When I know I’ve already prayed through.

So I started praying just once again,
Like I was beating an old dead horse.
Confessing my sins and problems to God,
And with tears, was shedding remorse.

When I was finished praying, I heard a small voice
Saying, “Condemnation can be cruel.
Don’t worry, child, your account balance is zero,
And your debt has been paid in full.”

The Heavy Price Paid To End The Deepest Of Dark Pains

In my night-dreams, flies jargon of oracles wise and profound
words given that break heavy chains by which I was once bound
just a conversation with my dark-muse and her ancient friends
as she promised, they provided a means to making of my amends
tho', they are not angels, and each one exacts a heavy price
one that costs this soul very dearly and I have to pay thrice!

For when I reenter this dark world and walk among the dead
I am commanded to do a ghastly deed, one I so truly dread
kill, on first day of each week, not true villains as a great release
my victims are to be the innocent or else their help will cease
this long forty year vicious cycle only ends when I shall perish
or dare'st to murder that which my heart most fervently so cherish!

Alas! They knew well such great cost I would never ever dare to pay
what do they say, poet's ink is the blood that keeps devils away
yet all of my devils dance gaily within my red-blood splattered ink
and to this day, I sorry at how low my desires caused me to sink
tho' with glee, they told me this also would make it all go away
if I would murder my own beloved wife and use her blood to pay!

Now to commit that unthinkable act, its time has too soon came
I had played with fire, sought the dark gods, played their game
the oracles I told would get their last pay come full moon tonight
this would bring buckets of blood, to their greatest of delights
each one appeared and gave me more useless advice to seal the deal
having no clue, that this old tired poet, himself would thus kill!

All that gloomy day I worked to make sharp the sacrificial knife
to kill the monstrous monster they had made, not its beloved wife
she I had sent very far away, to visit her beloved family in Spain
to spare her this night's bloody sight, never to see her again
now the full moon has risen, that dark, dreaded midnight hour came
I give you my friends, these sad words bereft of a dark poet's name!

Note, this now finished piece was the other poem(4th) that I had
wanted to present when honoring Poe in my ongoing dedication series.
I only just finished it today, early this morn. I hope you may find
it dark, ghastly, and very Poe'esq in somber mood and its darkness..

The Price Paid

What have I done? What has it cost? What have I won?
I know what I’ve lost.
I’ve come back empty in each hand. I’m confused. I don’t understand.
my knees start to buckle. I’m losing my strength. Why am I feeling so weak?
I should call out for help but it seems I forgot how to speak. I’m so heavy, getting crushed by the weight, it’s killing me. Am I being introduced to my fate. I start to fight but I fear it’s too late. everything is pulling and dragging me down. I’ve been gasping for air. It’s too much maybe I should let myself drown. I start to sink. And for a moment I don’t even think. I’ve reached the bottom and now I’m on the brink, maybe of insanity or maybe some sense my eyes shatter open and my body’s grown tense . I make a break for the light that’s luring me up to the top .
I make a vow to myself to keep going , won’t let myself stop.

Jesus Paid It All

Jesus’ death paid it all!
What have you given in return?
His death on the cross…
Was from his love and concern!

His life for yours… On Calvary…
 Has been paid.
His offer of eternal life,
 has been made!

Through God’s word,
 he’s been talking!
And stands at your hearts door…
 patiently knocking!

Won’t you invite him in? As your guest?
Then, your life will be totally blessed!

He can bring health and
 healing to your bones!
He can bring his love to
 your family and home!

“Come unto me.” Is the
  the master’s call.
Won’t you come to him now?
  One and all?

He’s here right now!
 In this very place…
And extends to you his
mercy and grace.

Won’t you accept him today?
He loves you more than words can say!

innocence lost, my soul paid the cost

Condemned to be my truth inside,
to you I've given all my pride-
       when our celestial stars collide,
I'll drain out all the tears I cried.
For you alone have broken me,
and threw out all my good debris.

               The depth in your imperfections-
            you destroyed all my perceptions,
          d i s c o n n e c t e d a connection,
     never wanting your affection.
May the shadows keep you quiet,
wishing your secrets are private.

You have stolen my innocence,
   forgetting all my relevance-
     I prayed for my deliverance,
from you a dark bad influence.
         You damaged my mortality,
            and blocked your informality.

I will admit I'm stronger now-
your abuse I will not allow,
my psyche you will never plow,
my body clean and wonder how.
Condemned to be my truth inside,
NO LONGER WILL I HAVE TO HIDE.

Jesus Paid the Price

This Poem pays tribute to our Lord and Savior for giving up His life: HAPPY EASTER!!!!!

Jesus paid the price for all our sins
They beat Him til they tore off His skin
They would beat Jesus almost to death
Just because He wouldn’t acknowledge their king being the best
God our Father is the greatest of Kings
Something they knew their king could never ever be
What they did to Jesus was truly so dumb
Knowing in their hearts no crime had been done
They shouted crucify Him, crucify Him
Why? Because He is The Lord
Having no idea what they would be in for
What was not known to man was that Jesus had been prepared
‘cause God told Jesus His life couldn’t be spared
When they nailed Him to that cross
He took everything with Him so we wouldn’t be lost
Jesus died so that the world could be free
For us to live in peace, love and harmony
Even after all what Jesus went through
You know He still forgave them, saying Father they know not what they do
That was such a great Love that He had for those
Who thought they could destroyed His heart and kill His soul
Why Jesus loves us so much I will never know
This one thing is for sure I’m in Love with Him so.

Luke 23:33a
And when they came to the place, which is
called Calvary, there they crucified Him…

When Jesus came down to earth
He came to save us all
And He died upon the cross for you and me
Jesus became a man to redeem us all from the fall

There is no greater love than His
And let's not forget for a moment this
He paid the greatest price for our sins
And now thru Jesus to heaven we can make it in

God is so full of love and compassion for us indeed
He forgives all our transgressions and evil deeds
There's nothing He can not do for you
And He has a plan prepared for you and me

God's love for us is never measured
It is never based on goodness or what you do
Thru mistakes we make He express us His kindness
And all the time He shows us His love so true

One day He will take us with Him
Back home to Heaven that place above
And there with God will live forever more
Where there are no more tears nor pain, but only love.
