I once met a man who claimed he was sober
At a beer drinking party, late October
He was as drunk as a skunk
He fell down and yelled- Ca 'plunk!
Thought it best I called him an Ober

I HAVE NEVER BEEN THIS HAPPY
SO GLAD SHE HAD COME ALONE
MY DAYS BEFORE WER CRAPPY
SINGING THAT SAD
LONESOME SONG
IT'S ALL BECAUSE OF SPECIAL LADY
AINT NO SHAME IN SAYING
YOU MIGHT THINK I'M CRAZY
ME AND THIS GAL
AINT PLAYING
PUT A BOUNCE IN MY WALK
GOT ME WALKING IN A BRAND NEW WAY
GOT TO TAKE MY TIME
WHEN I'M TALKING
I GOTTA WATCH WHAT I SAY
OBER, BOBER, DEW, DE WOOP
SKIP, DIP, DADDLE DE DEW.
SEE, BABY WHAT I'M
SAYING
CLEAR AND SIMPLE
I'M IN LOVE WITH YOU!

Either Flying Or Traveling
We were going to fly on a plane,
But instead used our bright brain;
Ober countryside,
Went for a ride;
See great sites traveling on a train.

Lost Love and Eternal Love
In the summer we'd meet and we'd sip iced tea,
and the waiter saw kisses as people passed;
as I whispered my feelings into your ear,
I was sure in my heart that our love would last.
Love can be a moment or an eternity.
Now the winter is here and your heart has closed,
all the warmth that we shared is now frigid cold;
and I wonder what changed; why I lost your love,
as I sit at our table alone and old.
Love can be a moment or an eternity.
In the fall we went for long peaceful walks,
hand in hand in lust, but still so unsure;
I wanted you to say, I love you dear,
then in time, you asked and I said, yes sir.
Love can be a moment or an eternity.
In the spring, so excited we married forever,
it was a perfect union and full of beauty;
and although God took you home one day,
our sweet love will last for all of eternity.

Winter - Cold at heart
Subtle warm weaves of passion
Kneaded to beat winter chills,
Tear to shreds with cruel time
Icy winds cold blood.

Like freshly laundered bed sheet,
nature spreads a white silken
gleaming, sparkling, eye blinding
cool earth coveralls.

Soft scintillating snowflakes
dress the naked tree branches
with a white wintery wrap
until spring arrives
(wintery can be spelled 2 ways - this version is three syllables)

A frigid morning snowstorm
embraces its many guests,
a white veil at this wedding,
reluctant bridegroom.

Winter Snow
Sleek ermine boas draping
the naked arms of nature
bare of their green velvet capes...
snow falling, settling.

Winter's Aftermath
Soft snowy scapes sizzle sheets
Romance bubbles in warm arms
Snoozing, Snuggling and kissing
Brrr! Baby boom blasts!

Snow Joke - dodoitsu
Demon clouds ride icy winds,
cold unfeeling harbingers,
blowing dead the flames of warmth’s
wingless snow angels.

Wayward Fingers
My laboring eyes see all the right kees to get the leffers correct.
My wayward fingers do as they pwease~ A definite lack of respect.
I tell them over and ober again, it would be better to go slow,
But it's off they race, in the rong direction ~ yep, another typo!
They get me flustered and vexed, bye not heeding my commands.
If I'm eber to finish this ditty, I'll have to spank my own hands.
Communication twixt fingers and brain is a carastrophic confusion.
I'm stressed, feeling the tsrain, but amputation would not be amusin'.
