chocolate tonight
vanilla ice cream delight
clock late wait sleep tight
Let me see
something fine,
smiley eyes.
Let me hear
something nice,
words of love.
Let me feel
something good,
smooth caress.
Beneath a sky just brushed with gold,
Scott met a voice he used to hold—
Christina's laugh, a spark, a flame,
That time had dimmed but not untamed.
They talked as if the years had fled,
In verses spun from things unsaid.
Each word a thread, each smile a sign,
Two poets tracing back a line.
The coffee cooled, the hours flew,
Yet every glance felt strange and new.
She spoke of storms and calmer seas,
He listened close, he let her be.
He wiped a tear that slipped her cheek,
Not out of sorrow—just too deep.
The kind of feeling soft and slow,
That only wounded hearts can
His heart is full and she can tell,
For her own heart felt this as well.
No rush, no scripts, no grand design—
Just wondering if stars align.
He cares, but lets the silence speak,
No promises, just week by week.
One date, one poem, one subtle chance,
To share a spark, a second dance.
She writes, he reads—then he replies,
In quiet ink beneath wide skies.
Two souls who once had slipped apart,
Now writing stanzas of the heart.

If someday we do profess
Wear your brand new midi dress,
Fun shoes, denim jacket too
No one else but me and you
I'll tie my hair back, nice cologne
Cheshire boots will set the tone
A quiet moment with no fuss
'Til later on when it's just us
I saw god near a pawnshop today:
He had a crack pipe and
a crooked smile.
When he asked me for
a quarter, I gave it to
him.
And that’s when he
told me of his
omnipotence.
What a neat
guy.
There is no use saying sorry
I don't have the time to bend you
over backwards and push this all inside.
So take all your broken pieces
Brush your past aside
I can't forgive you today. but we
have the rest of our lives
So say you love me tomorrow,
Tomorrow we will be just fine
we can start another ending
we have the rest of our lives.

I wish you were here
Can I love without trusting too much.
Can I touch your heart,
Without u getting to close to mine
Can I love you.. ..
Can I Trust you. ..
Can I count on you
But all I wanna to know is it safe to let my Guard down around you..
Can I trust you with my heart and I want or need to know is it safe enough for me
to let my burden down around u
St Patrick's Day Poetry Contest
Oliver Mckeithan
It's St. Patrick's Day and the night is hopping
A young women joins the revelers for a toast and a beer
She takes in a bar that has good window shopping
And after a few rounds she’s dancing to the cheer
The band is rocking and drumming the night
As she sails with the sea of green on the dance floors
She sterns to the beat and bows to a knight
For he's a gorgeous catch that she reels in to her shores
Love is in the air and Cupid's arrow hits her Leprechaun
There's an instant chemistry that's boiling over
For is her pot of gold at the end of the rainbow about to spawn
Or did she hopelessly find another three leaf clover
Her lucky charms were answered when he took her hand
And promised romance and courtship before they land
Throughout the coldest days of the mighty winter
Think of a sweet spring and dream of a mild summer
During the harshest hours of the wintry night
Think of flowers and dream of a pleasant sunlight.
Season comes, remains a bit and then flees
Life goes through a circular event like the bees
Like the moonbeams dancing around Mother Earth
In order to charm, embrace and kiss her to death.
In the middle of deep winter, think of a divine spring
And dream of bright and sultry summer days
Never feel hopeless and pessimistic about nothing.
Better days and glorious nights are always ahead
Remain positive and resilient as long as your head
Is present. Think and dream of warmer solar rays.

She loves sunrises
He loves sunrises too
Both are nice persons:
They love nature
They love people
Respecting others,
Telling facts and truths,
Very clear in their poems
Some of them are here!
Where are you, my dear?
My love is sincere.
Play not with me hide and seek!
Fear not like a deer;
My words, you do hear.
Without you, life appears bleak!
Always be my side.
It makes my soul glide
And build castles in the sky!
In you I take pride;
You will be my bride.
Doubt not, I am a nice guy!

Act not nice in the presence of extravagant beauty.
When it stares you in the face, minus a big booty.
Observe the personality, which has preference with me.
That quiet demeanor that brings out the ecstasy.
We, from the "Boot" have very few inhibitions.
We always step up to finalize the mission.
We act not nice because it's in our blood.
We get rid of it by spreading big love.
Massaging my shoulders will relieve the stress.
Taking me to "Cloud Nine" under a real caress.
Add something to it to put some ***** in life.
Put it down, Baby, like you ain't nothing nice.
