his defiant attitude was obstreperous
misbehavior unheard of and unseen in the sixties
other third-graders stared at him in disbelief
wondering what was wrong with him
not realizing he was begging for interference
help that was never coming
tired of extra conferences
his parents pulled their eight-year-old out of school
not unheard of back in the day
they kept him at home
where he should have been safe
but had never been safe even as a toddler
he was reported missing a year later
after a teacher called to check on him.

You pulled a lecherous lever,
hid behind the word forever;
Told me to never say never;
Misbehavior, misbehavior;
You did not expect me to win
but I knew just how to begin;
Enamor you as the lynchpin,
gotta check-in, gotta check-in.

Anna Liisa was Great-grandmother's name. She emigrated from Finland at the beginning of the 20th century.
I have only one memory of Anna Liisa from back when I was 10. She was elderly then and had come to live with Grandmother.
She sat in a big, comfy rocking chair in the far end of the living room. We young ones, my siblings and cousins, were a bit scared of her. She had a strange countenance, as old people do, and spoke only Finn.
My brother says he remembers her. At that time he was a terrible two, but he swears now, when he talked to Great-grandmother he understood every word that she said.
He tells us that one time Mother had to correct some of his young misbehavior, and she spanked him square on his little behind. He says that made Great-grandmother laugh and say, "paha poika," which translated means "bad boy!"
dear Anna Liisa
your language was as foreign
to me as you were

QUESTIONS….
They thought my
dinnertime inquiries
about their days at public school
were interrogations, investigations
pursuant to suspicions of misbehavior,
missing homework, dissatisfaction or
deeply hidden traumas needing parental
intervention
I must have seemed imposing and
invasive, annoyingly aggressive as
I peppered them with questions, ignored
their heavy sighs of resistance, their impatient
rustle of reluctance and refused to accept
their silence as they hid behind their mother
like Black Bear cubs in a forest making sense of
dangerous smells
Unhappy in my marriage
all I wanted was to know them,
understand their thoughts and dreams,
share in every new adventure, in every exploration,
in every damn discovery and in the daily new
delights that only thoughtful kids delivered,
full of bright and shining promises taking flight
toward the future, making me really glad
to love them, making me glad
to be their Dad!

As I go through this life
With all its pain and strife
I reach out toward the hand
Who offers the promised land
In Him, I find my true peace
Through love that will not cease
He assures my heart of His grace
Comforts my fears with His embrace
As I meet with struggles and labor
He reminds me to love my neighbor
With a love that He inspired within
When He forgave all of my sin
His light glows through the heart
With a radiance only He can impart
He reflects all the hope and belief
Showing me where I can find relief
As I reach toward the rising Son
With a hope for every loved one
I feel Him raining down joy inside
In Him, I know I can always confide
His wonder fills my life with hope
Assuring my soul that I can cope
He whispers through my every prayer
Promising that He will always be there
As I smile into the face of my Savior
Who kindly forgives my misbehavior
I know that I’ve discovered the solution
To all my pain, sorrow and persecution
He is the breath of joy and insight
He inspires my heart to delight
In the love that only He can bring
To His hand I will forever cling!

Pink roses here
Pink roses there
Pink roses everywhere
to decorate the world beautifully
The graceful face of these roses
enlighten the whole universe
more than neon lights
But, lo; time is unstoppable powerful character
it brings the rainy day thru its chariot
Oh! what a grimace figure the rainy days have
what a giant sharp of its shedding
what a misbehavior manner of it
now whole the world is logged in its shedding tears
and the pink roses have no scope to escape from time's cruel clutch

Exhilarating feelings quiver passions within
Breaths of fresh air crooning love that begins
Amid delightful musings in hearts of kindness
Refusing to grasp the fear with their blindness
Whispers of hope glorifying my eternal Savior
One who gave me freedom from misbehavior
Murmuring thanksgiving for such a joyful peace
Knowing I must decrease so that He can increase
Sentiments of pure and precious love flow through
Filling my life with views of amazing grace that grew
From moments spent with Jesus filling up my heart
With inspirations to accompany me from the start
God gave me His precious Son so that I might not die
He died on Calvary’s cross, bringing calm I cannot deny

Bad Habits And Truth
Written: by Miracle Man
9-7-2019
Most won’t be responsible,
for any bad decision.
And eyes scaled from truth,
means we’ve clouded vision.
Blames finger always points,
In another direction.
But God is aware,
of our truths deflection.
It is never by force,
that one starts bad behavior.
We should shoulder the blame,
for any misbehavior.
Remembering that bad habits,
will bond to us like glue.
Put the spotlight on self,
we own what we do.
The easiest way to break a bad habit
is in not allowing it to start.

A Changed Man
Remember my words
One day you will realize
Pain you gave us with your acts.
What happens to your promise?
Protecting family from evils.
Feel our thoughts
How you broke our hearts
And others with your words
What pleasure you get by harsh words
It’s time to rein your thoughts.
Understand our agonies
Soon you will become conscious
With your misbehavior
Creating more enemies.
Now, at least control your angers.
Think about our lives
Cannot live like losers
Why everyone avoids you
None to blame for your misfortunes
You are responsible, only you.
Still you can change the situations
By rectifying your misdeeds,
Rational behavior with others,
Resort only to positive thoughts,
Showing continuous progress in your acts.
Initially, they would not believe you.
But consistent good work by you,
Improvement in your behaviors,
Avoidance of negative thoughts,
People around you will realize changes.
Changing one’s perception is difficult.
May take time, eventually there will be trust.
With consistent betterment in your act,
With constant flow of positive thought,
Surely a changed man will stand out.

faithful + libidinal
misbehavior is alien
one above is inside me
spitting it out is nauseating
a withdrawal from swallowing
from something I once did I once
I said, I never did at all, I never did at
kneel only for aim do not enrich
yourself, keep cathexis in the cathedral
crucifix your eyes on don’t be cross don’t
obsess but be obsessive it plays inside me wrong
it’s wrong repress rep re
you’ll grow but not up, never
up or downtown you’ll be found and be wrung and the
latter is always Eros making you fall into a trap so you’ll
reach that rung late
to exist is to choose, make your choice choose don’t lose
your faith but bottle up libido, bottle up til you are old enough
to drink it, til you are old enough to exist, cough it out now cough

misbehavior, growing up,
Form: I do not know?
I learned to spy on adult behavior
as a child, totally out of control.
For when sent to bed for misbehavior
I would secretly peek through the keyhole.
My parent's world included make-believe
pretending telling white lies didn’t count.
And I would watch them socially deceive
knowing they wouldn’t be called to account.
I'd hear them laugh at their friend’s naughty jokes
that would have earned me a spanking for sure.
And though at times they seemed someone else's folks,
their hypocrisy was mine to endure.
The invaluable lesson for me,
was, always block the keyhole with a key.

Is God’s viewpoint misunderstood?
Sodom burned in His discontent
for conduct our courts give assent.
Though some fault rests with Hollywood,
most immoral misbehavior,
living proof, man needs a Savior.
Like Mother Eve, man has withstood
conformance to a righteous way
choosing to yield as Satan's prey.
The Creator of all things good
shaped gender with no compunction,
procreation, its core function.
Our God knew as only He could
the all-pervasive attraction
of sexual interaction.
For sure He saw sin’s likelihood,
prostitution and abortion,
and all kinds of sex-distortion.
By sheer grace, God forgives deadwood.
Jesus died; He’s our Salvation,
redemption from hell’s damnation.
Is God's viewpoint misunderstood?
Though some fault rests with Hollywood,
Like Mother Eve, man has withstood
the Creator of all things good.
Our God knew as only He could,
for sure He saw sin’s likelihood.
By sheer grace, God forgives deadwood.
