She walks the streets she’s always known,
But feels a longing deep, alone.
A fire burns inside her chest,
To leave, to grow, to find what’s best.
Her heart beats fast when she thinks of far,
Of distant lights and shining stars.
A thousand questions fill her mind—
Will she be lost? Will she be kind?
She dreams of skies she’s never seen,
Of places wild, both calm and keen.
Though scared, she knows she must be brave,
To write her story, to misbehave.
Her roots run deep in desert lands,
But she reaches out with trembling hands.
A Moroccan girl with tears and hope,
Learning how to live, how to cope.
She’ll carry home inside her soul,
While chasing dreams that make her whole.

Shining Bright,
Filling the airwaves,
Freeing the slaves,
Digging up graves,
Daring to misbehave.
A brave ray of light,
Illuminating whats right.
Shining through a dark night,
Clearing the plank from my sight.
There's no need to fight,
Every choice is right.
The delight about being,
Seeing living is meaning.
Careening out of control,
It's time to let go,
Throw yourself in the flow,
You're free to grow.
It's a slow start,
Once you open your heart,
Mending the broken parts.
Charting your course,
A force to be known.
The answers are being shown,
Reach into the unknown.
We own the airwaves,
Thoughts are keeping you a slave,
Shave away the fear,
You are the light shining here.

They're the murder
The puppet
For disgrace
Steadily bullying
Whosoever fails or loses the race.
That's the game
They play
Murdering
People's confidence
By belittling.
Steadily irritating
Whosoever they hate
Because they don't act
Or misbehave like them
Steadily murdering
Who don't support
Or partake in their game of mediocre.

No burial
When I died, my family didn’t dare bury me in a grave.
They knew, without a doubt, I'd only misbehave ~
that I'd party with the germs,
and have sleepovers with the worms,
and give the bacteria all that they crave.
So, just a lousy cremation
When I watched them cremate my body,
I thought their work was just a little bit shoddy.
I woulda preferred
if the fire had been hotter by a third,
and if my friends had been invited over
to toast me with a hot toddy.

I Deploy Happiness and Joy,
Exuberant like a boy.
It's a brand new toy,
One you can enjoy,
Anytime,
Anyplace,
Put a smile on that face.
Feel that saving grace,
Filling the Empty space,
When your reality starts to quake.
Put on the brakes,
Accept the mistakes.
A different choice to make,
When you're about to break.
When emotions create a wake,
A wave,
Becoming their slave.
A new path to take,
Don't misbehave.
Smile.
Be brave,
Ride the brainwave.
Surf the concave,
Emotional swell.
Shred that Tube,
Don't come unglued.
Slide through that bad attitude,
With a strong mental aptitude.
Exude gratitude,
Know you're valued.
Change the mood,
A choice you'll be glad you used.
Let Happiness and Joy guide you,
As you Ride through,
your Attitudes.

Sand and water pour off of my skin
mixing pheromones into the tidal wave
from a spout that drips tanning lotion;
It’s my home I don’t need to check-in
to a hotel in an exclusive enclave;
Sand and water pour off of my skin;
Just one glance at a coastal grin
releases that need to misbehave
from a spout that drips tanning lotion;
Descending the cage to a shark’s fin,
that’s the adrenaline that I crave;
Sand and water pour off of my skin;
Spending time in a seaside cabin,
an aroma of coconut bliss it gave
from a spout that drips tanning lotion;
Carefree bare feet always in fashion
marked by happy footprints they pave;
Sand and water pour off of my skin
from a spout that drips tanning lotion.

On waves I swept from clouds of grey
to make once tranquil bliss astir -
together, we would join the fray -
a tumult tango beckoned her.
Fandango spin upon the seas
where tempests tease a tropic storm.
What once was born a peaceful breeze
now grows in yield - now comes the swarm.
On every churning white-capped wave,
my breath in howling echoes dwell,
then dance ashore and misbehave
where Nature's fates forebode, foretell...

The boomeranging echo
deafening to receive
retro rockets smoking with the effort to retrieve
What dignity affords
Approaching the singularity
Where mathematics misbehave
Infinitely distorted space and time discovers I am brave
For this the final frontiers inimitable calling to me softly astral plane
Rosie the robot
Taking on a life of her own
Worlds beyond comprehensive control boweavil seeking her home
54321 Houston we have lift off
Winging through the atmosphere this star dust studded loam
Made for growth this rootless vine ideal it seams to roam
Nomadic maiden trying to ignite fire with sodden sticks
In a van down at the river
Still up to your old tricks
This hardwired struggle release
Return oh Viking warrioress
You won this fight at birth
Now sail with pride this prairie schooner when you return in peace
Rest my sweet Rest
For you are lightyears or a softly spoken word away
Prepare for your reentry
at last
Your coming home

Before the Day Turned Into Night 1-21-24
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Before the Day Turned Into Nigh - ITQ
Through veils of rose twilight dances
Wink, a smile, coquettish glances
Flirts with the stars, the moon, perchance,
Promise for dusky romances.
She wears sheer hues that silhouette
The shapely shades of dusk’s coquette
Amber tease in fuchsia ballettes
Light and shadows in dusk’s duets.
This playful minx just can’t behave
Teases nightfall with siren’s faves,
Golden tones split the airy waves,
Night encouraged to misbehave.
Before the day turned into night
A coral kiss turns off the lights.
Little ears hear heartfelt tears,
Little eyes remember trembling sighs,
Little noses still smell the roses,
Little lips kiss away the fear that grips,
Remember to listen to little ones,
The hearts who believe,
Remember to listen to little souls,
Their feelings won’t deceive.
Little ears hear heavenly cheers,
Little eyes will never despise,
Little noses know the door closes,
Little lips tend to let secret slips,
Remember to listen to the children,
The hearts who God gave,
Remember to listen to their questions,
Even when they misbehave.
Oh say did you see
All my neighbor's delight
When he proudly displayed
That he went there just to fight
Who inflicted deep scars
Due to words of rich fools
How they influenced all
By breaking all the rules
See their eyes with red glare
Sow their lies and fanfare
Gave proof through the night
That our hate was still there
Oh say does that star spangled anger yet rave
While we all disagree and they all misbehave
We broke up But never dated.
Cause I fell so deeply in love,
With a girl who never related.
How could my heart be so dumb,
Maybe its what it means to be young.
Then why is my soul left in taters,
While she seems unshattered?
The love that a lonely child craves,
Perhaps makes me misbehave.
So quick to fall.
But now I’m left with nothing at all.
leading me to question,
"what did I do wrong?"
cause though I was blind to see,
all along it must have been me.
As I sit here and pen this rhyme,
I wonder if there may come a time,
someone else might have the same words to say.
As we sit under the same moon,
and write tales about a lover’s swoon,
will we tell it in the very same way.
There are only so many words,
to use as nouns, adjectives and verbs,
coincidence dictates it might be so.
Cause I have read so many bards,
that the chances might not be that hard,
I could do it and never really know.
After all there’s been many times,
I’ve struggled to find a way to rhyme,
the word horse with anything but ‘of course’.
I guess I could make up a word,
one nobody else has ever heard,
like the evil stallion who bucked and ‘snorsed’.
I don’t know why I worry so,
there’s probably no one else you know,
with a mind quite as twisted and depraved.
So if you ever think for sure,
you have read these exact words before,
know that I didn’t mean to misbehave.
Ol' honest Abe,
Is turning over in his grave.
While Donnie & his clan,
Continue to misbehave.
I think it's fair to say,
That the GOP is long gone.
Overtaken by MAGA sheeple,
Well beyond wrong.
Traveling along a path
That impeached & indicts.
As the courts are left to judge,
Any remaining rights.
Testing foundations of democracy,
Like its never been before.
The world watches the drama,
Like reality TV, it can't ignore.
Yet from my view I can see
Almost too many crimes.
That will burden the
Judiciary, multiple times.
In the end, will convictions
Return justice to those in need?
And the people retain their power,
To nullify the greed.
A wall with our unified attack
together we can take anything down;
Even naked riding horses bareback;
A big city in sync with a small town,
sane but a bit twisted with anarchy;
This rebellion will be world renown;
No longer content to just let things be
there is still something here to save;
If you fight you belong at this party;
Call us malignant but we’ll misbehave,
crashing on the shore we are the wave.
