Cloudy sky :
Maroon Moon

Ebon night !
Darkness fight
in Moon beam.

Please play a song for me Jan, in flashback
A song that brings lovely memories back
I well remember days from long ago
How we adored our musical maestro.
We'd stand round the piano as you played
Mesmerised by the sounds your fingers made
And here you are many decades gone by
Tickling the ivories, and still we sigh.

Mesmerised to watch marvellous Mountain View
with charismatic charms of CASCADE
on continuous free fall.
Sun is down bidding bye to fading twilight.
Evening is slowly merging to turquoise night.
Descent nascent crescent Moon peeps
with shimmering glaze.
A SERPENTINE silhouette spreads over starry tapestry
with a MYRIAD of blue sapphires twinkling on hazy NEBULA
under enchanting LUNAR panorama.
Vibrant waterfall is dancing frolic
in opulence of aqua flow
from chasms of rigid mountain
to LILT in mellifluous tune
as if to entertain night farmament
staying in silent mode.
Small stones broken from rocks to SLITHER.
Serene sublime night to resonate
with rhythmic dynamic waterfall.
Off and on water droplets sparkling
in PHOSPHORUS glow reflected
by soft soothing Moon beam.
Me floating on dream
drinking dormant desires.

In awe I lay upon the verdant knoll,
mesmerised by the silent starry sky,
a mirror gleaming deep within my soul,
reflecting timelessness, I barely know.
Venerate Venus dances in reverse,
spinning our musings under mulberry moons,
when we chased illusions, beneath the Queen’s chair,
through realms where reasons dared not delve,
our hearts lost in a cosmic haze.
in this wilderness of mirrors,
I hanker headlong into hallucinations,
peering through perfect panes of promises,
or is it prisms of pretences,
till stars themselves begin to speak
“She shall shatter your sureness”
and you will gather
the pieces like fallen constellations,
too sharp to hold,
too sacred to leave behind.

Foundation.
How many hear the call and do the deal?
The Spell Caster.
Are you missing something magical, in your midnight embrace
As you sit all alone
Feeling lost and out of place
Look out that window
If you feel unsatisfied, unwanted, or displaced
Put down that phone and if you see Mother Moon trying, with beams of her bright moonlight
To show you a way
Beseeching you to look up high, into her glorious night sky
If you see her angel shaped clouds slowly part, and start to play
You'll hear my soft voice, whisper and say
"Want to escape from your daily routines, today?
Come open up, and find my portal, and eternal doorway
By any old trees nearby, that I've commanded to sway
To follow that compelling feeling, to pay the toll
To through and be mesmerised
Like my old muse,
Called Dorian Gray
Who to me,
Once sold his soul
When he too followed, the angel shaped clouds, at play
To open up my portal, and eternal doorway
By those old trees
Nearby
That I commanded to sway

“Look deep into nature and you’ll understand everything better.”
Albert Einstein
I stood on the sloped path near the waterfall.
Mesmerised by the sound of falling water.
All around grew green-leafed ferns,
While tall poplars and redwoods provided
Ample shade that covered the running stream.
Tall purple pickerel plants, scarlet cardinal plants,
Everything contributed to a sublime, picturesque sight.
A symphony of sounds emanated completely around.
Frogs croaked in great abundance, jumping in and out,
Of the clear stream where fish swam toward the sea.
And all around, busy bees fluttered over exotic flowers,
Where nectar provided them with such sweet nourishment.

“Dance with the waves, move with the sea. Let the rhythm of the water set your soul free.” — Christy Ann Martine
Sundown. I enter the private beach through a rusty gate.
I walk towards an umbrella and sit in its shadow near my wife
Summer is warm. Hurrah for the sea that sparkles like a jewel .
Listen! Surface waves flutter and chase each other toward the beach.
I walk to the sandy edge mesmerised, listening to the sea’s melodious thrill.
Suddenly, I feel a push and find myself in the cool, wavy water.
I get up, mutter a curse, grab my wife. We plunge into the salty sea, kissing.

the sea lures me
as waves run
one after another
splashes over the silvery sand
and moving shingles
slow tide flows inwards
holding me
in its spell
crabs are carried
towards the deep salty sea
I stand mesmerised
listening
to its melodious thrill.
seagulls invite me
I just jump into the sea.

Your deep glances pierced my heart.
Throughput our life we were apart.
Sank slowly in your love unsaid
Hunger of my love still unfed.
Your eyes mesmerised me to whelm.
Your charming glance only to blame.
Bygone days haunting me in bed.
Hunger of my love still unfed.
I’m ignorant of your feelings.
My love is stuck in glass ceiling.
In social bond we are not tied
Hunger of my love still unfed.
No recognition of our love.
Unison ! We truly deserved.
Yet, for each other we were made.
Hunger of my love still unfed.

A sea of roses graced the local park
Swaying to the sweet singing of a lark
Sensual ambience those roses made
Supported by stems of majestic jade.
The roses danced like waves upon the sea
To gentle wind caressing them softly
Enjoying the motion, most daintily
Back and forth, side to side elegantly.
Sunlight glimmered o’er their rosy faces
As they performed with delightful graces
To an audience that was mesmerised
By the scene being played before their eyes.
Roses of every colour one can name
Petals owning their unique claim to fame
Roses, the epitome of romance
Inciting hearts to race and feet to dance.
Every rose has its own special splendour
That is, that was and will be for ever
A sea of roses waving on the breeze
Is a stupendous sight that's sure to please.

death came from rattle snakes
build a fort just to dig his grave
air became thinner inside
with every single inhale
mesmerised by the good feeling
his obscured vision of love
couldn't differ between words or places
memories that still haunt him at dawn
one common bite and 100 different faces
excruciating pain and smile on their faces
black dahlia flourished in my rose garden
my eyes rained, someone punctured the cloud
scandals that can ruin lives, lies that can take lives
a friend is not a friend of yours
beware of those snakes
who befriend you and kill your soul

Frankie’s face so cute, sweet and appealing
Lifts one’s heart to fly up to the ceiling
The moment we met I was mesmerised
No one could resist those sparkling brown eyes.
Frankie’s adored by all residents here
His presence livens up the atmosphere
Love the way Frankie greets us all with joy
He is such a warm hearted doggie boy.
Never forgets anyone, not ever
Knowing Frankie’s an absolute pleasure
Frankie’s therapy, knows when one’s unwell
By caring actions, is how one can tell.
Oh, doggie boy, there’s no doubting the fact
You’re simply the star of our habitat.

Miss Dorothy Gale , European
was forced to learn language Ozian.
Book ‘Wizard of OZ’-
She read from A to Z,
and encountered witty magician.
Just hypnotised by magical wonder
also mesmerised by splendid splendour,
common sense to forego
and IQ turned zero.
In land of OZ she had to wander.

Mightn’t get any sleep
Nose pressed to the screen
so…colorful
so…dreamy
mesmerised
No one’s turned the faucet off
landfall imminent
head like a pressure cooker
build up
drip drip drip
commercial break drums
melody strums
calculating where my loved ones are
a hurricane inland!
the light’s turned off
outside
flashlight relied
upon
filling the tub
not for ducks
morbid message
for those who stayed
permanent i.d. yourself
so your loved ones
don’t need to guess
upon recovery
Mightn’t get any sleep
Nose pressed to the screen
so…colorful
so…dreamy

Fresh spots of violet creak through the sky
Silently, violently assaulting the eye
Lavenders blush in the sweetest of hue
Spring has arrived with the calmness of blue
Soft summer rain dapples the floor
Raindrops like diamonds on the old barnyard door
The orange of sunset, as the dragonflies glow
And the mesmerised sounds, as the young cattle low
Warm autumn apples fall from the bough
To be sprinkled with honey for the fattening sow
Pumpkins erupt in shimmering gold
As the sheep return leisurely to the warmth of the fold
Crisp winter cold is dark and succinct
Foreboding clouds all around, as the sun is extinct
The jingle of sleigh bells can be heard up ahead
As the enveloping stillness leads you to bed
