Mocking the dead, is that a thing?
How many ways can one be disrespecting?
Laws that cause offenders to be free?
Rape kits that exist only to be not breached.
Little lies and big divides of right and wrong genocide.
Our forefathers could not ever predict
We would be as disrespectful as this.
Ancestors bones surely roll like river
As the wicked become powerful while weak lips quiver
Fowl language and worse ethics morale and actions
Political powers that endorse for private satisfaction.
Mocking the dead what about the little kids
Who inherit the earth in the shape of it
We enjoyed youth clean air and water
And dirty it up for son and daughter.
Looking back only with limited views
Erasing the truth of ill will and abuse
A country started by taking from the natives
Blended into a melting pot of many races
Mocking the dead playing music head like fiddler
Warming the red bed of fire for Hitler
Are we so pompous we can never admit faults
Until it is too late and we too are lost?

what i saw
i can never see
seeing is not always believing
a question mark exists
exclamatory sentences are all run on
completion is still in the process in progress
all i have seen are all tested and owned by those braver than i, me, and myself
i draw inspiration from them
yet the art of it all is not legible and very incomprehensible
the story of my life is all sticks and no bricks
the definition of the description is all struggle and strife with no life
in the brightest part of the day, i light a candle like it is the darkest hour
repetition is inevitable
confusion is pretty much guaranteed
the old shoes that i once threw away, like a very nose observant dog,
has found their way back into my endless tunnel closet
Too much PC too
Many interpretations
Nothing but problems
I'm with stupid, but...
There are no stupid people
There is ignorance
Rage against culture
Not stupid just misguided
And misdirected
As Spock might say,
"Logic dictates - blending
Ensures survival"
We're all immigrants
And we are Americans
Americans first
Be in the culture
Don't set up your own country
To be catered to
We can't be all things
To all people all of the time
Stir the "Melting Pot"
Darn nice titles though:
Hippie, Yuppie, Zippidy-
Do-Da, I'm Flippie!
Amid sand dunes look around for faces
on roads and streets, through spectacles
eyes dwell on the sky, trees, and birds
albino clouds set sail as if to merge
the fecundity of green leaves, blink eyelids
as the bright sun pulls off the night's skin
groggy eyes peep out of a deep sleep
a line of fishing boats stuck on the beach
mine bobs silently on a waveless sea
The fetor, threat of death, on the streets
but the lanes, bylanes, and roads lead on
to tree-lined avenues and highways
pour strong ingredients into the melting pot
and a broad smile lights up the sulky face
The beauty of diversity..
All shall join hands..
Come together as humanity..
One size fits all..
It matters not what size one wears..
Differences in race and culture..
Is the epitome of universal love..
There exists no hierarchy..
As the beauty of diversity is unique..
The uniqueness is what sheds light on unity..
There is no better ..
There is no best..
All is equal..
All is one ..
All is the breath of life..
As each and every single life is precious..
As the melting pot is filled with blessings..
We are all sacred..
It matters not ..
Where one is born..
We are all born with the loving light of the Creator..
May all of our love and light ..
Bring forth peace and harmony..
All shall join hands..
Unity..
As we continue to come together as humanity..
Our annual sisters dinner at the Melting Pot. We pay to cook our own food. The shopping done by the restaurant. We climb into a huge booth, tell jokes, stories, sing funny songs about serious stuff — some sympathize, others laugh not understanding this is a true story. And we divide two bottles of wine.
the cheddar cheese
melts and devours morsels —
we pop into our mouths
Memories made, smiles exchanged. The waiter’s named David, who’s serving another David and he reminds me of a library book No, David, only I say Slow down, David. With one glass of Chateau Michelle this is a funnier joke.
sisters poke the pot —
assorted skewers hold meat
boiling in hot oil
Now I’m feeling like the holiday roast. This is one place that should only be done once a year. We talk some about kids but our families are mostly forgotten as we enjoy the adult bonding. Our sis-in-law was afraid we might add in shots. We did not but the food itself is intoxicating. After dessert we must make it to the car.

The Chinese are going for bagels
The Jews head out for won ton
I really am not quite sure anymore
Which side I am on!
Fifty States United
In an healthy Zone
Everyone is different
But proud to call it home
Children are singing
As they grow
So all the world
Will hear and know
There shall always be
A sequel
For Americans
born equal!
In nature’s vast world the animals dwell,
Some flying above, some running below.
They climb to the mountains, roam in the dells,
An unknown force will call them to follow.
The rules of nature are simple you see…
She mandates, most will live, a few will die.
Her delicate balance was meant to be,
Since the dawn of time her rules will apply.
Why can’t mankind learn a lesson from her?
Co-existing side by side in our place,
Live in harmony, comfort each other,
With open arms, and prejudice replaced.
Only with peace can mankind be made whole.
A melting pot should be our final goal.

I'm juat a place to find you
I had a purpose in life
Why did I make a promise
Found the edge in a knife
Maybe I had to be here
I was too drunk to drive
It turns out you were dishonest
I barely came out alive
I got a ride from a friend
We cut straight through the dead night
The rules were missing from us
Cause I found you in the light
Cause honey didn't you know?
I fell in love with a ghost
Still don't believe that you're real
Can you take me to the coast?
I'm just a fool for emotions
I'm overdosing on love
And I have news for your heart
Your voice; it fits like a glove
So hand in hand we will walk
Forever lost in this place
Cause I found you in a touch
You always make my heart race
[listening to "headache" by Joyce Manor]
"Melting Pot"
in passionate promenade'
a steamy melting pot invites
two sultry silhouettes
into labyrinth lovelight
beneath the searing sunrise
emoting a sonata as
sizzle emanates.
heat ascends from
crimson sheets of satin
invigorating pulses of
intimate paramours
excited by forbidden fruit
evoking a tempting scene
deep in clandestine
as glaze of bodies glide
in simultaneous groan
pleasured fascination
energizes Summer heat.
mellow afterglow
radiates upon lovers
as they contemplate
a repeat performance
...once is not enough...
inhaling the perfumed essence
of bedroom fantasy
under an umbrella of sunset
infused by blazing rays aura
basking in humidity
of emotion.
weaving a delicate design
of memories to linger
softly in subconscious palette
simmering heat of romance
entwines
as the dance continues
in mysterious scalding desire.

There's nothing wrong with a little heart,
I am human too
Life's just mixed a melting pot.
I'm a race of two worlds combined to one,
Not many can say that it's much fun.
My root's run deep a controversy in themselves,
What once was war now he Delves.
Two worlds that once discriminated and hated each other,
Now drawn together to create another.
At first seen wrong, a sin to God,
Or Gods creative mistake?
A force of nature or a freak of nature?
Am I black or white to them neither is right,
We come in so many colors our beautiful Bi-Racial skin.
A new breed of race that has no place.
Seen as something I'm not, or something quickly forgot.
I thought of myself as mulatto when I was young,
But other names would bitterly come.
McNigg, Oreo, and other foods,
They're all just fools.
In school on test's when asked a race,
They'd say check one
White, black or other
I was forced to call my mother
Now everyone's mixed
The single race is a dying breed
Now they say check as many as you need.

Ones might know the value of tolerance
Let’s ask American for their multicultural life
How has it been?
Are they living in a camouflage screen?
Ones might throw their identities
Let’s ask American for their multicultural life
Should we keep our ethnicities unseen?
Or we keep our sanities in between?
Ones might keep their entities
Let’s ask American for their multicultural life
Can they socialize easily?
Or they only do chat briefly?
Ones might blend-in perfectly
Let’s ask American for their multicultural life
Can they act in melting pot fairly?
Or they mind their popularities only?
Flames and fire are Devil’s friend,
melting, melting till the end,
conglomerate conformity
Oh God have you abandoned thee?
My freedom hand hits iron wall,
I’m simmered in a hamster ball,
running, running on worn out knee
Oh God have you abandoned thee?
My waxy self runs from the heat,
alas, alas I have no feet,
they’ve melted patriotically,
Oh God have you abandoned thee?
My colours blend unto a grey
My past has just been wiped away
Star spangled mediocrity
Oh God have you abandoned thee?
I gaze up high to see the rim
pray, save us from this burning sin,
free individuality,
Oh God please don’t abandon thee!
Lord have mercy, have you seen
The fences they put up between
America and its border states
The melting pot no longer rates
Lord have mercy, have you heard
Immigration so absurd
Where once it had been good and sound
The melting pot is watered down
Lord have mercy, can you taste
The bile this policy has embraced
We don’t seem to care a lot
About the weakened melting pot
Lord have mercy, can you feel
The sickness and the need to heal
What once made this country great
The melting pot has met its fate
Lord have mercy, can you smell
The stinking hatred that does dwell
Here within this country’s fold
The melting pot has gone stone cold
