Fifty States United
In an healthy Zone
Everyone is different
But proud to call it home
Children are singing
As they grow
So all the world
Will hear and know
There shall always be
A sequel
For Americans
born equal!

This verse was written to the tune of "das Laternenlied" by Norbert Schultze as it is easy for children to sing and to remember. Old timers may remember it as, "Underneath the Lampost" sung by Marlene Dietrich. ("Unter der Laterne")
