Beside the river flowing over smooth
Stones, dark and shadowy waters,
Healing me with hues of summertime truths…
Echoing past the whimsical blue, streaming
Alive like the music playing in the distance
Meeting my heart’s hope with gentling
Blistering my memory with harmony, blessing
The promise of tomorrow – history in the making
Yesterday, the past, long gone from today…
Yet, it lives in my history, my memory, my heart
Where it aches to be felt once again… listening
Like a verse in the wind, blaming the early times,
The moment I decided to make him mine
The moment he realized love had come by…
Like a wise, old promise… awakening the beautiful
Inside two hearts who finally knew the meaning
Beneath the intimate, the passionate, the fleeting moment…
A diamond sparkling tenderly, brilliant as the kiss
That happened when we knew the first breath of bliss…
To finally feel a love so tempting, a love like this!

3. 3 are the fathers, sons, and mothers lost in time 1.2.3.
3 are the daughters 1.2.3.
3 are the mother, the child, a lone sister lost at Sea 1.2.3.
3 is the mother, father, and the loved child who sits all alone 1.2.3
3 is the dignity, grace, loyalty to hold tight to the
will to keep walking forward in faith, hope and love with thee.
3 is the story nailed to The Cross
3 is the pain
3 is the loss
3 is the belief that what we love most, is delivered back home safely
by the Father, Son and Holy Ghost
3 is the number that is divine
3 is the number that is always mine.
3 is the time in the morning that I confess
3 is the moment of search, beseeching unrest
3 it would seem, is the number that has been blessed.
3.Is the Number 1.2.3.

Comet Lovejoy

As radiant as the Star of Bethlehem there it is!

An emerald beacon from the heavenlies.

A sign from the Creator that it is almost time to announce the coming of the King.

He is using another extraordinary sign with the color GREEN.

Green means "go."

Green means move forward but with caution to the other moving traffic.

Comet Lovejoy--a true beacon.

Awaken

Today is a new day
How I long for the new
Wondering what life has in
store
A journey for me and you

The sun did set on yesterday
And awakened a new morn
The past behind us
Leaving aches and thorns

Now a warm summer sun
Beams glistening on a river bed
And peaceful dreams swarm my
mind
When I lay down my head

The stars sparkle brighter
The night air captures my soul
And in every captivating
moment
You play a roll

As I take a deep breath
Smell the lingering of your
scent
Imprinted in my memory
From time together we spent

The crickets began to chirp
Birds begin to sing
In a collaborative chorus
Overwhelming joy they bring

So what is this new path
Full of light, joy and spark
A guided way out
From a path of dark

Am I really here
Or is this a dream
Full of oceans and lakes
Rivers and streams

Not everything is perfect
This we all know
We all have a past
And have to reap what we sow

But a new path we walk
Though may not be perfect and
smooth
But I'll walk hand in hand
Down any path with you
sun

A Moment Please

Could I walk with you in my bliss,
Add joy to what ever you miss,
And should love desires to flee,
I shall bind you in untold glee.

You are like the droplets of rain,
Cool to cling making me insane,
Feel the bounty within your smile,
As wet lips touch to mute your style.

The joy of music in its thrill,
Cascading notes with the skill,

A Lesson From Love (To Joy Elaine Wellington)

It did not seem so then, but O I wish again
I could spend those days of joy with you
For there I learned that joy is just a rain
That must disappear sometime that a dew
May sparkle on a rose
And a cloud may have meaning in our woes

You left me when in the drought of love, so
Would learn not to hold too tightly when
I pick a rainbow from the ground. I was slow
To heed, and O the pains my body rend
But true love never goes
Unless it comes again, it is the way river flows.

I held you too tightly when we met, and so you
Left me to refresh your breath. You came
Again so I would forgive: love returns when it's true
But I thought you a spirit no man could tame
The way we think is why we lose
Love is the river, you the water that there flows.

On Her Wings

Not so long ago, the journey of life became hard and difficult.
a troubled mind made the waters seem too deep and stormy.
a weakened spirit made the hills feel steep and hard to climb.
a weary heart made the paths seem long and endless.
And the land of hope, joy and peace became distant and impossible to reach.
Then, that special person in your life took control of your journey,
with her kindness, her patience and her love. And like an Angel,
on her wings she guided you through the waters which gradually became shallow and calm
on her wings she carried you up through the hills and they became easier to climb
on her wings she took you along the paths and they were long and endless no more.
And now the land of hope, joy and peace, though still some distance away,
seems to be within reach again.

Something New

something new
a kiss from you
on the cheek
something neat

did it make
my heart flutter
all my pride
melted like butter

alone but not lonely
i ride with God
telling Him the story
while He just nods

my joy elated
like the joy of my youth
nothing has changed
only the view

am i entering the
spiders web
when it is over
will i be dead

or will i be captured
in loves gentile grip
together grow old
or till God's Kingdom sent

either i enter heaven
or either i enter hell
right now it's heaven
save my soul not hell

someone very special
i choose to give my heart
dares to light my fire
by giving it a spark

Natural High

From the moment I met you
I’ve been on a high
A natural high
I feel like I’m walking on air
I giggle to my self
Or laugh out loud
For no reason
And if I start to come down
And I need a fix
I think back to our first kiss
Or the first time I held your hand
Or I re read your love letters
And I’m floating again
Or I’ll call you on the phone
Just to hear your sweet voice
And the call will last for hours
Since falling in love with you
You’ve made me feel young again
With your joy of life
As we run through sprinklers
And swing on the swings
Or make sand castles on the beach
Everything is a joy when I’m with you
Driving in the country
Queuing at the supermarket
Every moment is filled
With good conversation
Punctuated with special glances
We share each other
We share a hot shower
We share a bubble bath.
We share a bed
We lie in bed and listen to the rain
My fingers playing with your hair
And I look into your eyes
And I know you love me
I see it looking back at me
Since we fell in love
I’ve been on a high
A natural high
And I never want to come down

Missing Mister

Sweet dog of mine
are you waiting for me?

I miss your face,
your snoring twitching dreams.
The joy of a wagging tail
beating to its own joy at seeing me,
but I'm not seeing you
except in photographs
that sometimes become too blurred
with tears I shed for my Mister.

Everyone says
I should get another dog
but you dwell in my dreams
running to bark at the Birds and sometimes,
it seems I hear you whine
but its only the wind
blowing across a creaky roof.

The Birds and I, we do okay
and Squirrel still comes
to steal their sunflowers.
Its a fight every day
without Mister to chase Squirrel away.

I wonder, do they miss him too?

Grieving Past Veils

A lone man come to ponder
in the grieving of a night
why joy had disappeared
with a lady wearing white

Happiness his memory
hoping is pipe-dreams
remembrance a legacy
warming salty streams

Laughter left the lines
that scrawl across his face
now her life has left
a pall lies in its place

Eyes of sightless glass
gazing through a time
hands begin to fumble
tapping with no rhyme

Shaking with a moan
pain streaks into sight
what he would have waged
to see his beloved wife

Leaving him to pine
she left this earthly vale
traveling on ahead
now hes alone and frail

Two Hearts blaze as one
as veils of sadness part
and joy will live again
within this lonely heart

"i Love Him"

It happened so unexpectedly,
the joy between him and me,
I think ,
I loved him.

  Without a kiss,
  a touch,
  or a hug,
  he had me drugged,
  yes,I loved him.

My days are not the same,
he left as abruptly as he came,
I think ,
I really loved him.

  His smiles,
  our laughs,
  looking in his eyes
  i no longer have
  yes, I loved him.

 No movie,
 no song,
 can remove this feeling
 of being alone,
 I really loved him.

I miss the time we spent together,
   our conversations about whatever,
I miss the joy we shared,
how he showed me he cared,
   I truly loved him.

Sitting here with tears in my eyes,
I've come to realize,
I still love him.

I wished he would come back to me,
and things would return to how they use to be,
   because as you can see,
   I really, really love him.

To see the joy in his eyes,
to experience his handsome smile,
it would all be worth while,
to let him know ,
I love him.

  No song,
  can remove this feeling
  of being alone,
  I really loved him.

What He Brings

Holding hand in hand
Nothing matters, not a single thing
It's you he understands
But does he know the joy he brings?

Along the road a lesson learnt
A further fact discovered.
Love runs deeper than before
And new secrets uncovered.

Once one digs so far to heart
There's a pull to keep on going.
For you feel you cannot live
Knowing there's something you're not knowing.

Holding hand in hand
Nothing matters, not a single thing
It's you he understands
But does he know the joy he brings?
