"i Love Him"

It happened so unexpectedly,
the joy between him and me,
I think ,
I loved him.

  Without a kiss,
  a touch,
  or a hug,
  he had me drugged,
  yes,I loved him.

My days are not the same,
he left as abruptly as he came,
I think ,
I really loved him.

  His smiles,
  our laughs,
  looking in his eyes
  i no longer have
  yes, I loved him.

 No movie,
 no song,
 can remove this feeling
 of being alone,
 I really loved him.

I miss the time we spent together,
   our conversations about whatever,
I miss the joy we shared,
how he showed me he cared,
   I truly loved him.

Sitting here with tears in my eyes,
I've come to realize,
I still love him.

I wished he would come back to me,
and things would return to how they use to be,
   because as you can see,
   I really, really love him.

To see the joy in his eyes,
to experience his handsome smile,
it would all be worth while,
to let him know ,
I love him.

  No song,
  can remove this feeling
  of being alone,
  I really loved him.

"and things would return to how they use to be," . . . Although I have tried and tried and . . . tried . . . Things never ever are as they used to be . . . It is hard to do, but remembering the memories with a secret, sly smile is sometimes better than trying again and only making it worse the second time around . . .
