Cricket World Cup

https://youtu.be/A7NzFzy7_NE
Accept the challenges so that you can feel the exhilaration of victory.
Satisfaction lies in the effort, not in the attainment, full effort is full victory.
Cricket now is definitely a professional team sport.
The World Cup is a very important way to measure the good players, and the great ones. It is a test of a great player.
We have a great sense of togetherness. It is our team spirit that has taken us to this World Cup.
The World Cup is not just a great global sporting event, it is also inscribed with much deeper cultural and political importance.
The beauty of the World Cup is that while thirty-two countries get to cheer for their respective teams, the event also affirms a global pluralism - it is as much a festival of cultural multiplicity as it is a competition featuring some of the best athletes in the world.
Cricket is a most precarious profession; it is called a team game but, in fact, no one is so lonely as a batsman facing a bowler supported by ten fieldsmen and observed by two umpires to ensure that his error does not go unpunished.
The world is coming down
the flags of the winning country are up.
who wanna be no.1
who's gonna take up the world cup.
who will it be,
who'll be king,
it's once in a lifetime chance.
who'll rule the world.
gotta see who rule the world.
If you believe in yourself and have dedication and pride - and never quit, you'll be a winner. The price of victory is high but so are the rewards.

The three fold flame of Christ

The three fold flame of Christ ~
love, wisdom and power,
is veiled by our ego,
heart enmeshed by desire,
unable to let go.

The three fold flame of Christ ~
we are at the first rung,
not yet love enabled,
our pursuits self-serving,
with narrow views tabled.

The three fold flame of Christ ~
affirms we’re living light,
on earth for a sojourn
but due to fall from grace,
consumed by lust, we burn.

The three fold flame of Christ ~
ushers tidings of joy,
for Heaven is within,
transmuting our presence,
cleansing our soul from sin.

~ if we so choose to be ~

Premium Member Lord God, You Are My Deliverance-Greatness

April 3 Relationship to God Bible Meditations Based on 1Kings 20-22

Key Verse –1Kings 20:13 And, behold, there came a prophet unto Ahab king of Israel, saying, Thus saith the LORD, Hast thou seen all this great multitude? behold, I will deliver it into thine hand this day; and thou shalt know that I am the LORD.

LORD GOD, YOU ARE MY DELIVERANCE-GREATNESS

Lord God, You are my deliverance-Greatness
Who enables me to remain peaceful
Thank You that You strengthen me to be faithful
With Your stewardship-call for my being dutiful
Let me always obey You in my willingness so purposeful.

Lord God, You are my deliverance-Greatness
Who wants me to look pleasant
Thank You that You see to it that I become Your Bible-braced servant
With Your girding harness of sin-forgiveness You mercifully grant
Let me always follow Your precepts, immutably constant.

Lord God, You are my deliverance-Greatness
Who leads me to walk in Your light
Thank You that You correct me by Your compassion’s might
With Your warning words stirring my guilt-stricken fright
Let me always abide in Your will to conquer carnality’s height.

Lord God, You are my deliverance-Greatness
Who upholds me in Your given inheritance
Thank You that You govern me in Your kingdom’s assistance
With Your constraining love I experience in every instance
Let me always submit to You in my faith-building pursuits without resistance.

Lord God, You are my deliverance-Greatness
Who comes to me by Your graciousness
Thank You that You fight for my battles to win over struggling helplessness
With Your ready protection I cling to, fastened along Your goodness
Let me always trust You as I pray through Your bestowed righteousness.

Lord God, You are my deliverance-Greatness
Who pushes me toward spiritual maturity
Thank You that You prosper me by Your blessings’ bounty
With Your prevailing wisdom that teaches me Your truth’s certainty
Let me always seek You with earnest humility and sincerity.

Lord God, You are my deliverance-Greatness
Who comforts me in my affliction
Thank You that You deal well with me along Your peace and consolation
With Your reigning power that affirms Your instruction
Let me always pursue after Your approval, overcoming goal-frustration.

Premium Member Elements

Existence is the cauldron where elements brew
Earth, water, fire and air, are in space entwined
Each has unique attributes, maintaining life
Cognised by presence when they are aligned

Holy Spirit grazes form, beginning at root of spine
Earth comes alive, as blood begins to flow
Two thirds of the planet is water; we are likewise
We feel in stillness, our sacral water centre glow

Energy ascent continues, igniting fire in the navel
So enlivening and comforting is magnetic heat
But what avail the spark, if there be no movement
Breeze of air obliges, making our heart upbeat

Thus from root to sacral, navel and then our heart
Grace activates all elements and body glands
Passing through throat corresponding to aether
Into the head ovoid to cognise God’s heavenly lands

Ancient Hermitic wisdom affirms: as above, so below
Made in God’s image, we represent the whole
Five senses, elements and electricities as yet unknown
Oh hermit, we ourselves are the light, scriptures extol

Premium Member Significance of Easter

Organic form goes through birth and death
Thus man too did believe in death’s inevitability
Until Jesus practically demonstrated resurrection
Signalling that we too may so transcend, as did He
Upon lighting the three fold flame of Christ in our heart

Scriptures abound with similar miraculous illustrations
Let’s take the epic book, ‘Autobiography of a Yogi’
It affirms the resurrection of Sri Yukteshwar Giri
Likewise bilocation power of Anandamayi Ma
Validating truth that there’s no limitation

The Aquarian Gospel of Jesus goes deeper
Being a channelled text of the Akashic records
Elucidating that at the beginning of each life cycle
Our Father in heaven sends His son to walk among us
Demonstrating the zenith heights of mankind’s potential

Recognising we are soul eternal, for a sojourn upon earth
With love alone as real, all else but a thought construct
We choose to exit the narrow cravings of lower mind
Living joyfully with all beings, in a borderless world
Respecting the soul journey of each life form

Easter then for humanity, a gentle wake up call
To glorify God with each breath inhaled by His will
Returned back to void, infused with pure loving intent
Each cell of mind-body slowly transfigured as living light
That we ascend, merging with God’s blissful luminescence

God - Good, Bad Or Neutral

Not a single person is happy on earth
Still we praise God for his bountiful love and worth
If God were all powerful as everyone affirms
Why doesn't he end all our problems and confirms

So many die of hunger, so many unwell
Every one suffering, for many life is a hell
If he were a true father, he should find this unbearable
With true love his actions are no way comparable

Scriptures state we suffer for our sins
Because God gave us free will we sin
When we sin he watches without stopping us
Either he lacks power or doesn't care about us

God is heartless and merciless of all
Every sin we do punishment does befall
Sinners he will never acquit
No one can sin and get away with it

What I feel I am telling you
God is as helpless as me and you
If not helpless at least moody for sure
Not all you ask you will get I am sure

I feel God is neither bad nor good
He is a mere spectator doing what he should
He is doing it all maybe for livelihood
His role is definitely misunderstood

Premium Member Walking In the Shadow of the Lord

A constant companion since way back when,
He's my savior. Amen.
Because my heart he does engross,
I'm in His shadow we're so close.

I've seen His movements in the world;
Seen His works--His wonders unfurled.
I've beheld the magic of August moon,
Smelled rose on summer afternoon.

I've read His ancient word, still true,
I've looked to endless skies, still blue.
Heavenly Father, on bended knee,
I lift my eyes and look to Thee.

Yes, heard His voice whisper in the wood;
Been His child since babyhood.
A love that shines brightly forevermore;
I've heard His knock upon the door.

I've glimpsed His figure in the fog;
We've been engaged in dialogue.
Yes, the minister affirms with a nod,
How amazing is God!

I've participated in the holy rites,
Beheld the stars on Christmas nights,
And seen things grandiose--
I'm in His shadow we're so close.

Premium Member Common Heart Problem

Heart problem? That's common to all; and nobody is exempted!
"I'm well; I'm healthy." You and I can declare such, when prompted...
Yet... the nagging question keeps on reverberating - - -
Like you, I'll face it - not resisting; and then, deal with it... unrelenting.

“The heart of the problem,” the analysts say
“…is the problem of the heart*.” I agree anyway
For out of the heart are life’s issues verily…
Thus is what God’s precept affirms assertively.

Today, I’m yielding myself to the heart Doctor
My Creator, life’s Designer, Operator
For Him to reveal my lingering heart ailment
That I ignore, deny, hide with guilt’s settlement.

Here am I, under the heart Expert’s scrutiny
Exposing common heart aches’ source that seems tiny;
Oh, how I cringe in pain as He names what’s the main…
In my inward parts there sits on the throne the villain.

Diagnosis shows pride exalting self’s glory
Highlighting selfishness’ ecstatic victory
Revolving around the I, me, myself and mine
With envy, covetousness, and greed next in line.

Midst the heart Specialist’s examination
I’m failing… and now fainting in deep exhaustion…
Gripped am I with feelings of doubt, confusion, shame
Though hurting, I come to God; His healing – I claim.

Now, I admit my severe heart-infirmities
And receive His cleansing for my impurities
“Lord, I thank Your mercy, grace, love that never lack
To safeguard me surely from fatal heart attack.”

*Psalm 19:14 Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer.

When the Bubble Bursts

Buoyed over waves of elation
Marvel at favourable sights of creation

Prospect for attainment visible
Within glossy bastion, even trials seems agreeable

Mollusk of endearing devotion, grumbling for denied favours seem so easy
How progenitors of our existence purse their frustrations makes one feel lousy

Reeking of corrupted souls, makes tastebuds sour to elixir
Grafted as second skin blends to exude a new color

Aversion so easily discerned when everything awash
How chameleon spirit avulsed everything from one in a stroke of whiplash

Hooters perched on the demise of accrued inheritance
Consternation that needs to be shackled for their malefactor dance

When plunder acknowledged for their vantage
Stipends bequeathed as morsels to owner of the heritage

When the bubble finally bursts
Lesson that even if one's dominion life is not always just

Monitoring in anticipation stranger's and dear ones alike by holter
Affirms the old adage that blood is thicker than water
