February 27 Relationship to God Bible Meditations Based on Joshua 4-6 Key Verse – Joshua 4:14 On that day the LORD magnified Joshua in the sight of all Israel; and they feared him, as they feared Moses, all the days of his life.
LORD GOD, YOU ARE MY MAGNIFIER Lord God, You are my Magnifier by Your righteous cleansing Thank You for carrying me toward Your sanctification-blessing For me to be prepared against corruption’s cursing And to come to You for my holiness’ praising. Lord God, You are my Magnifier by Your revival of covenant-fulfilling Thank You for setting me midst Your will for my grace-filling For me to be prodded against vanity-pulling And to long for Your presence-refuelling. Lord God, You are my Magnifier by Your constant commanding Thank You for lifting me up to trust always Your ready providing For me to be pressed against earthly encampment’s leading And to pitch in Your ceaseless guiding. Lord God, You are my Magnifier by Your mighty cowardice-melting Thank You for sharpening me through Your faith-smelting For me to be pressured against selfishness-corrupting And to obey You while my life You’re perfecting. Lord God, You are my Magnifier by Your transformation-involving Thank You for rolling away the reproach of worldly grieving For me to be protected against threats that evil is giving And to worship You through the Spirit with His forgiving. Lord God, You are my Magnifier by Your valiant pride-curtailing Thank You for compassing me around Your love so unfailing For me to be pushed against fatal transgression-falling And to bear Your Gospel that affirms my calling. Lord God, You are my Magnifier by Your Word that’s faith-propping Thank You for charging me to serve You with Your divine helping For me to be powered against earthly clapping And to build upon Your foundation of truth-gripping.
