The Fourth of July is almost here,
it will be hot but will it be clear?
Fireworks made me pee my pants,
all wet but I will still dance.
Pretty colors do not run in fear.

Yard skeleton hazard’s a stay.
He smells like a fish aft’ three days.
     We wish he’d keel over,
     But one might discover
the neighbor’s been dead, sans sway.

How bad we’d all feel - all the same,
the grit and the bow are to blame.
     The holiday bones wave.
     It’s time to dig’m a grave.
The neighbor too IF he’s the same.

Premium MemberIrish Holiday

Limericks written for St. Patrick's Day
Celebrate the Irish in ev'ry way
It's said in tales of old
Leprechauns buried gold
At the rainbow's end it was meant to stay

It's a day for dancing and wearin' green
Shamrocks in the hair of each colleen
To Erin Go Bragh, a toast
A holiday loved by most
But kissin' the Blarney Stone's not my scene

The Emerald Isle's heathered hills are lush
where on a Bonnie lass you'll have a crush
Walking on Dublin's shore
Or on the grassy moor
You can steal a wee kiss to make her blush

The seventeenth of March will soon be here
St. Patrick's Day arrives every year
Jameson~ take a swig
Then dance an Irish jig
Or imbibe Guiness with lots of good cheer

The time will come when this holiday ends
And I'll wish my days here I could extend
Irish blood flows in my veins
Here, part of my heart remains
I'll just sing Molly Malone and pretend.

Premium MemberPurim Theorem!

Purim Theorem!

Rambam holds Hashem is math,
Hashem does not take a path,
Like “Squaring the Circle”,
Such is illogical,
Yet the Zohar differs on Hashem’s craft!

Witness the Aron anomaly,
Giving rise to a homily,
Finite length & width yet zero volume,
Boggling the mind, yielding it solemn,
Evoking Emunah more than normally!

Size yet no volume?
Anomaly! as in Shalom,
Moshe saw that the “Burning Bush”,
Was unconsumed, he didn’t silence: Hush!,
Risking ridicule, courage to be alone!

Moshe saw water & fire combine,
Hashem’s Shalom nonintuitively align,
Illogic surprise from mire,
Despair be gone! Lost? A Divine sign!

Purim, 339 Before Common Era,
Hashem again was a true “Chevra”,
Upending Haman’s goose,
In a long necked noose,
Saving the Yidden from an evil schema!

Arrogance vanquished,
Anomaly? Yes by logic languished,
Expect the unsuspected,
Human reason dissected,
Headstand of man anguished!

“Shemayim’s” Burning Bush is a hymn,
Let the “Olam” Hear Him,
Again no novelty,
“Chiddush” renewal, an end to “Evilty!”
All Adds Up to Purim Theorem!

LEPRECHAUN I

This leprechaun Fastly appeared
And said, will you be mine, my dear
He showed me his gold
That little man was bold
So, I snatched it up and disappeared

School Holidays

Today starts the Year of the Snake.
My grandkids were given a break
For schools were all closed
Since someone proposed
That to open would be a mistake.

Different holidays now get observed
(I’m not saying that they’re undeserved)
Yet for years there were few,
Just the ones we all knew,
And traditions were always preserved.

Varied cultures are claiming their due,
Though I’d bet not all schools share that view.
If there were a debate
On this topic, by state,
Change would happen in those that are blue.

Holiday Fun

Santa sang as he approached the streets.
Couldn't wait to give out some treats.
From the window, he looked East.
He saw there was a feast.
Rode back and had all the sweets.

Frosty got so bored inside on a Monday.
He came out and walked along the way.
He had put on new glasses.
Stood beside a campfire outside the classes.
He cried and watched himself melt away.

Rudolph took Elf on a walk at night.
It was quite dark, his nose shone bright.
Loud Christmas bells made elf's ear slack.
Laughing at elf's ear, nose turned black.
Rudolph couldn't help but run out of sight.

Holiday Fun

Frosty

there once was a snowman named frosty
whose figure was round and quite glossy
he danced through the town
till the sun came around
and left poor old frosty quite saucy

Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer

there once was a reindeer named rudolph
whose bright nose would often just show off
he lit up the sleigh
but led them astray
when he stopped for a snack at the bake-off

Santa and the Elves

there once was a santa so stout
whose elves loved to scurry about
but they mixed up the toys
for the girls and the boys
and poor santa was left with a pout

Holiday Fun

Frosty the snowman liked tricks
Consumed apple juice for kicks
Left yellow puddles
We were befuddled
Yellow snow flowed from his...wick?

Dear Santa Claus feels so uneasy
Wears velvet jockies, quite cheesy
His new braces pop
His red trousers drop
Jockies exposed, buns feel breezy.

Mischievous elf on the shelf
Played tricks when sending prized delft
Holiday distress
Reversed the address
Sent my gift back to myself.

Poor Frosty snowman kids can't cuddle
His carrot nose sits in a puddle
Guess it's global warming
Winter's not conforming
Our seasons are in a right muddle

A randy elf whose name is Delph
Loved nookie with elf on the shelf
But Delph got quite riled
By June she's 'with child'
And produced a tiny wee elf

Old Rudolph said, "I need to 'go'"
But Santa's late so he says, "No"
Rudolph can't hold his pee
And it is clear to see
The outcome was bright yellow snow!

We see Santa and Frosty,
Having their rush shopping spree;
Buying many toys,
For all girls and boys,
Then hire ten elves to carry.

As hosts of Christmas party,
Have rock band to play loudly;
Both lead hip-hop dance,
We all look askance,
As they shake their huge belly.

Rudolph and an elf came in,
Shaking their hips with their chin;
Sway from left to right,
Hug each other tight,
Making their hosts bounce and spin.

Happy Merry Christmas!

All day is snowing,
Santa is coming,
What a good winter season.
Parents are merriness,
Babies are in happiness,
They jumps to the sky any reason.
Happy Merry Christmas!

Father coming from shifts,
Brought a lot of gifts,
A big holiday in Your house.
The brother is happy,
The sister is happy,
Your Mom is happy twice.
Happy Merry Christmas!

When the sky is bright blue,
The dreams are coming true,
Let there be peace on the land!
Let's singing and dance,
In a year just one chance,
Merry Christmas is our brand.
Happy Merry Christmas!
