Premium Memberlanguidly so worn

what burns as badly
as a pressing
of clothes
languidly worn
in the bloody past,
there's no silver star,
its killing me to wish
not for a bull with horns
Its hurting to try to win....
I've caved in Empires
in the closure of caves
just a kid pretending......
There's the eyes ahead
but not above this sadly.

WOMB WORDS

 WOMB WORDS

Womb ! Mother of All, what sayeth you
knowing activation before birth
births through girths, a Q ?

~ ‘I see rainmakers smoking pipes
drink from ostrich eggs fresh
then hike wearing silver Nikes
embryo cells magically multiply
hearing guinea fowl cackle on high
kicking sensations, baby legs sigh
atoms alight travel from mom to babe
life witnesses itself languidly lacing
almost due, a beautiful hue

womanhood elastic expands happy rosy
she is cow peace or yappy puppy cosy
who will give sweet milk, play with baby gay
while father on maroon
patterned mat prays every day’ ~

I birth in agony and ecstasy entwined
  welcoming a caramel soul
divine !

Premium MemberI'd Gift the Moon to You

My desire is to savor the taste of your sweet lips
and wake the flame of passion asleep in your heart.
I'd brush the contours of your face with my fingertips
then paint your beauty from memory as a work of art.

If I could I would fetch you the moon on a spoon,
and a drink made of honey that I collected from bees.
To make you smile, a romantic tune I would croon,
and profess my love for you while down on my knees.

I would cradle you affectionately in my arms at night
and then languidly sigh while breathing in your scent.
I'd compare you to the wonders of celestial starlight.
With such burnished love, I would be placidly content.

I'd write sonnets for you to reveal what's in my soul,
capture the moon for you and leave it at your door.
I'd wrap it in stardust and tie it with ribbons of gold,
solemnly vowing my heart to be yours, forever more.

Premium MemberKing Canute Would Play His Flute

King Canute would play his flute,
And dance upon his nose;
And all the while a symphony
He’d languidly compose.

THE TRAIN JOURNEY

TRAIN TRAVEL

I am on a superfast train
Listening to the soothing refrain,
Of the wheels on the railway track
Clickety clack, clickety clack.

Verdant vistas on either side,
Soothing visions during the ride.
Hamlets and villages flash by,
Little children waving "Hi"!

Fields of wheat and sugarcane,
Glistening from recent rains.
No pollution, no blaring horns,
No impatience or faces forlorn.

The catering staff wend their way,
Distributing food on trays.
We tuck into a hearty meal,
Get a satiated feel.

Chat with fellow travelers,
Some sober, some revelers.
Each with different tales to tell,
Caught up in a magical spell.

Halting at railway stations,
Quaint outposts of the nation.
The aroma of frying food,
You simply cannot elude.

Idyllic this train travel,
Just unwind and unravel.
Far away from stress and strain,
Modern life's eternal bane.

Stretching on my berth, relaxed,
Languidly just laying back,
Till I reach my destination
I'll admire Nature's creations.

Premium MemberSleep

Woken up, I want to sleep
Now I need it to be deep
As an ocean, where my boat
Welters on in aimless float
Not a sign of land ahead
Beaches of the golden sand
Must be somewhere else aside
Up and down goes my ride
Waves are raging all around
I’ve no dream of solid ground
Not a word I have to say
Rocking languidly away.

Premium MemberA Voyage To Unknown

Birds twitter, birds croon to each other,
I watch life moving at a lulling slower pace,
Rose bushes leisurely sway, breeze converses
With the rustling leaves, clouds float languidly
In endless azure,
Sailboats sailing in emerald ocean,
Picturesque, perpetual, blissful!

Life is an endless stream,
A voyage to unknown,
Life is made up of impossible dreams...
I gaze at a dreamcatcher, unachieved goals
No longer make me feel bleakly miserable, or discontent,
My life is full with lilac aspirations, not failed achievements!
Does it matter in
The ultimate scheme of things, we are
All pawns in the chessboard of an
Unknown skilled magician, who smiles at our arrogance,
Blesses all his children..
Unaware of the profound truth of life ~
And Death!

Premium MemberSunset Dimmed

I stood alone on the sandy southern shore
watching sunset dim with a sense of languor.
Soon, of its luminance there'd be little trace
but 'til then, I'd enjoy its warmth on my face.

Hues of cobalt blues, sanguine, and honeyed gold
painted gloaming skies; a canvas to behold.
Reflections of mountaintops and rippling sea
exposed Nature's exquisite beauty to me.

Sea gulls were feeding as the sun descended.
How swiftly daylight and dusk became blended.
I captured all my thoughts with paper and pen
and wrote a Sonnet so I'd remember when ~

I watched the sun languidly bid me goodnight.
Then faded away as I welcomed twilight.

Premium MemberBroken Bough

Heavy rain is falling down
On the baked soil
Making every tree a clown
Showering turmoil
Lightnings crack the sky and thunder
Shakes the window pane
Where are you this time I wonder
Could you stop the rain?
But you have enough of yours
And you wouldn’t mind
Rain supports your roses growth
In the dead of night
Rain broke down one bough, and so
Languidly it hangs
Still its leaves are green and grow
As if saying thanks..

Premium MemberArt Of Endurance

In desolate wasteland of deprivation,
sauntering languidly with my indigent life,
I tried tolerantly for so long
to smoothen the angularities
of our beleaguered bond.

Swirling in the egregious whirlpool
of searing indignation,
sucked into the chasm
of despondent desertion,
I searched in vain
for the pathway to your heart.
The feeling of dismal denial
made me abandon the pursuit.

But had I cultivated
the art of endurance
and stayed on resolute,
I’d have seen the butterfly
of yearning return reticent,
flitter in the air of changed time
on its wings of dream
in my sensuous sky
with the lattice of your charisma.

With the whispering wind
it’d have created the music,
harmonized with the rhythm of my heart,
where longing would have danced
with the ripples of rhapsody,
roll between you and me,
entwine us forever.

Purifying the renascent craving called love,
I’d have weaved the novel design of desire
in the tapestry of heavenly togetherness,
that wouldn’t have frayed
till the end of time.

Premium MemberReverie in Tranquility

I drown myself in reverie and retrospection,
when on calm tranquil mornings,
chirping birds entertain my eager senses,
and flowers serenade me away with their ambrosial fragrance...
My mind gets fully occupied with the mysteries of the universe,
which I will never be able to comprehend!

Birds twitter gleefully to each other,
squirrels scurry in their grey coats,
The world moves slowly, in a lulling pace.
clouds float languidly in the azure sky,
sailboats cruising on the emerald ocean,
anchor not in sight!
Nature in eternity - blissful, picturesque, serene!

I wonder about the eventual truths in life...This is a journey to unfamiliar, uncertain...in ultimate scheme of things, we are all pawns in the chessboard of an unknown skilled magician, who smiles at our arrogance, blesses all his children unaware of the profound truth of life and Death!

We all are on our odyssey…Only at a temporary harbour we pause,
Steer through blissful moments,
Sorrows and misery,
Heartbreak and despair,
We smile, we bleed, we mourn!
We feel elation in the tangerine trifles of a voyage...
The journey makes the difference in a life well-lived,
Not the desired end!

between

the sun is setting slowly
leaving the marks
      at the corner
 of Kappabashi Street
maikos adorned
         brightly with
 lantern lights
while
   the midnight
        wind is blowing

Premium MemberThe Garden Of Bliss

I lay down languidly in a garden of jade
The sky looks green and the water too
The Sun looks to have a greenish tinge
Have I put on my green glasses? No clue

No, I am in a garden that looks unearthly
The once-soaring birds are perched on greenish waters
And the fish flying in the air singing to the clouds
Dogs are engrossed in discussing urgent matters

The grass feels soft and bulbous
The insects are dancing with a buzz of joy
The caterpillar decides to come out of its cocoon
No need to be a butterfly if it can dance and enjoy

There is plenty of sunshine but it’s not hot
It’s snowing sometimes but it’s not freezing cold
This seems to be a place of some wizardry
The grass beneath me clings like a lover’s hold

I don’t know if I am in a different world or dreaming
I pinch myself again and again and feel the pain
My senses are intact and my faculties too
All I need is my beloved, there’s so much to gain
