Ode to Razzmatazz

What a cat was Razzmatazz -
small, smooth and sleek.
Guests would call and in she’d slink
just to take a peek.

What a cat was Razzmatazz.
Languidly she’d preen.
Eyes I still cannot define
were they gold or green?

What a cat was Razzmatazz
and a little fat.
Even if she lay around,
I was fine with that.

What a cat was Razzmatazz.
As I stroked her fur,
she would start her motor up
with a smooth jazz purr!

What a cat was Razzmatazz.
Had to say goodbye
when my cat got really sick.
Sad she had to die.

Ouch! Oh such an ending to this poem. They do become members of the family. Your Razzmatazz sounds like she had personality to spare! Other than the sad ending, a very entertaining and well written poem throughout. Great Name!

What a fun name for a cat! Guess what..my son’s family tried on several names, but in the end they went with “Cat.” She is a beauty that is groomed to look like a lion. I’m Faving this one! Love!

She was pretty cool. Then she changed when she got diabetes. We never did know her age. She had been pretty pampered by the old lady who named her and then passed away. We got her later down the road
