Idle Disconnect

I hate this void within
this gaping hole
that screams of silence
thumping echoes in my brain
endlessly night and day

Images i can't decipher
hover of the edge of darkness
tinkering their bits of bitterness
a black hole in motion
without rhyme or reason

meaningless chatter
idle artwork
mindless spilling of
thought overflow

nervous tic
kinetic outreach
mental gymnastics
creative outlet
for pent-up energy

apology from heart with eyes smiling
that ego spawned aberrations be healed 
a simple task yet difficult for some
foolishly frittered is the gift of life
soul deadened to throb of the cosmic hum

Idle Hands

Idle hands
Water plants
They can dance
And they chant
Or can rant
Sign language and
Make a stance 
Give a chance
Wake romance
Hold a hand 
Be so grand
Holding fan
Bold and tan
Can start again
Understand 
Make a plan
With woman 
Pray for man

Realizing life is short too late

aborted ambitions
time squandered
dreams abandoned
a life mismanaged

a ship with 
no one at the helm
subject to the currents
and the whim of winds

idle and adrift
we've run out of options
out of time and
out of excuses

An idle mind is dangerous and bold
An idle mind is stories untold
An idle mind is lost in space
An idle mind is a slow embrace

An idle mind is doubt and fear
An idle mind is both far and near
An idle mind is restless streams
An idle mind is built on dreams

An idle mind is sharp yet blind

is sentience a curse if we feel
God’s breath breathing all forms
and is innocence heart’s weakness
as bliss magnetism organic form storms

Idle musings

One day whilst idling in blissful repose,
soul chose to activate its lower mind,
inquiring of it fulcrum of a rose,
in as love’s scent that cannot be divined,
which each of us feel when warmth in heart grows,
in moments when we are divine aligned.
The ego blushed, for it could not reply,
unable to define why lovers sigh.

Abandoned desires adrift in the void,
yet possess some life like dying ember
but if the heart be pure and unalloyed
and light of Self within, we remember,
doing nothing at all we dismember 
lower vibrations in which we engaged,
which have been now by divine light upstaged.

Laziness

My heart and mind don't align
I yearn for dreams to yield but vegetate
Putting off things for the very next day
My willpower is always at its lowest
Laziness floods my habits and goals
Until I drown in unsuccess.
The bed, so invitingly soft 
It tempts me into a languid slumber
While a half-finished coffee mug 
Sits cold on my window

Behold the chest of space heaving,
all manifest worlds perceiving,
in, within but not of life forms,
enlivened by God’s breath that warms
hearts as they plunge into embrace,
yet leaving in the void no trace,
of their emotes, from God’s bliss boat
or whilst skydiving in free float,
heaven recording each intent,
that grants the throb of love consent.

enlivens soul’s stillness

idleness a gift for you
I superimpose

classroom back sitters 
find futures as beautician 
or divorce lawyer

front pews church sitters 
best view observers also 
judge of character

Idle musings

Observe mindfully oscillation of mood,
signalling ego is as yet manifest,
holding potent power, we need to denude,
else soul will miserably fail in life’s test.
Our resistance to embrace offered surprise,
is the cause why negative thoughts forms arise,
so if we choose to accept life as it is,
quiescent heart will radiate a bliss fizz.
