Long Time Awa

When yins ye lou are taken awa ,
forever gang intae eternity,
ne,er will ye see them agin,
as eternity is far frae hame.
aye maybes yell see them float by,
in a clear day o sky,
ye can talk tae them when ist yer wont,
but ne,er will ye gain a reply or song,
the kirk it says yell get tae heaven,
where ere yon maybe hidden in cloods,
beyond yer sicht an hid frae hubble ,
an its freends o similar clout.
Oh me freends Eternity is an awfy lang time,
weel beyond oor een an sicht o mine,
aye this life is unfair tae cause sic pain an despair,
tae brek oor herts in a thoosand dauds,
must be workings o hertless gauds.
sae gaither in yer airms yer kith an kin,
tae ignore them aa wid be a sin.
Lou them dearly beyond compare,
dinae mak their hert sair.
Tae hae them leave withoot yer blessing,
wid be tae lose them fur ever mair.
Mak yer peace wi them at war,
offer understauning nae matter
how faur ye hae to travel.

To My Dream Woman Who Loves Me

to my dream woman
who has loved me so

and in a million other languages
and will love you

It's Burns Nicht 25th January

Jean, Jean wis young an' alive till Ah gied her tatties and neeps;
Noo she's bein' seek as a dug, it fairly gies me the creeps.

Bonnie Mary O' Argyle took a trip tae the Brig O' Doon,
She took a dook oaf the parapet, ended up nearly bein' drooned!

Wee sleakit, cooerin', timorous beastie, ye must think it a sin!
Aw the lassies a' ever kent, wanted tae stab me wi' a pin.

Blythe Hae a' Been on Yon Hill, where a Tippling Ballad ah Wrote;
Gude Ale Keeps the Heart Aboon, when ye drink an awfy lote.

The Wizard of Don

A fearsome gale tearing through Torry,

Took young Dot and Tyson away.

She met a dodger, drunk and ned as well,

Stuck for words, whit wid she say?

Now, evil wis lurkin’ aroon’ the corner,

It wis the wicked witch o’ the North East.

If young Dot wis tae survive,

She wid hae tae beat the beast!

She finally got the witch’s burberry cap,

Which wid help her get aheid.

And all the little casuals happily sang,

‘Heymin! The wicked witch is deid!’

Dot wis noo ready tae find the ‘Big Man’

Her brain wis in one mode.

Noo, a’ that Dot needed tae dae,

Wis follow the Granite brick road.

She found hersel’ back in her hoose,

Bemused at far she hud been.

Now lookin’ at some weel kent faces,

So wis this a’ a dream?

Je Taime

Je t’aime

        I met this French Girl
And I said to her, je t’aime
	I met this German Girl
And l said to her, ich liebe dich
	I met this Italian Girl
And I said to her, tia amo
	I met this Malay Girl
And I said to her, aku cinta padamu
	I met this Korean Girl
And I said to her, sa rang hae yo
	I met this Thai Girl
And I said to her, chan rak khun

        I may know how
to “This” In many Languages
	But I am only
Saying that “I Love You”.

Alas, me dove
the Arish roots I love
Hae dwindled to spindley cobwebs
hanging from me name even.
There’s no love sounded in Stephen.
So be dog wide when you say it laddie
or a knuckle sandwich is your due.
There now, I have said it, so I have
without the flags you lads wave.
Give me Steph or none atall.
With no fecking laugh when you call
or I’ll be shuttin’ your cake hole
‘tll youse know how to be behavin’.
So wind your neck in.

bonnie scotlands the place to be,
whar awe yae ever may want tae be,

even if we dinae hae nae sun,
whar ya go tae cleer ya heed
wae the fresh air that helps ya indeed,
glesga is a fair big old toon
whar all the fun sterts when the sun goes doon
ya hae twa teams left n right
that get tae europe wae a return flight,
we dae hae oil anaw
wish we could buy it and prices dae faw,
so when ya want tae come n see
vist ayr toon an you may see me,

I Miss You, I'M Sorry

I just want you to know that I miss you,
though we didn't talk that much, you were the one I liked the most,
I miss asking how are you and are you doing good too?
And now we don't talk to each other, like if one of us was a ghost.
When we saw each other in person, we didn't even exchange one word,
not having as an active part in my life is messing with my head,
I'm sorry for what I said in the past events that hae occured,
I shouldn't have been the one to judge, again I'm sorry for what I have said.

" Faere Lass "

Aye... 'tis nay awa' e'er seen,
Faere lass ha' coom a'shore,
Frill bonnet oot & lairds do preen,
Prim lass ayre coom folklore.

'Twas maid fa's upon us few,
Such singin' springtime dew.
Smitten swain nane a'dither,
Wh'aur his hame coom hither.

Nay tae brak such trill sweet song,
E'er drifted throo day long.
Naethin' seen o'bonny lass,
Fae o'erhigh sun sae coom tae pass.

Prim her brow yet cauld her e'e,
Whistlin' gane she's sae coom to dae.
Hae nae e'er else nor song such e'ermore,
Faere lass ha' coom ashore.

My Earliest Memory

I think I was about two three,
cause I remember sitting on my father's knee.
We were traveling down and old dirt road,
now bear with me as my story will unfold.
Things I saw my do I tought were not true,
he could crawl up a corner and look down on you.
At school he was the feature attraction,
I never really got any of the satisfaction.
He had blocks burst on his chest,
we only knew his act was the best.
When I found out that it was him,
I said no wonder he named me Jim.
I veer off to tell you this true fact,
he put me behind the wheel to see how I act.
As my fathers son I came thru,
not really knowing what to do.
Yet at the speed of eighty,
 I held the car steady.
He must hae had great faith in me,
why I can not begin to see.
This memory has stayed in my mind,
and I tremble at the thought every time.
But I found pleasure in the return trip,
cause when we finished he gave me a sip.
Don't get me wrong cause I was scared,
it was overcame by that moment of love we shared.

Tell Me Why

Each day we all may struggle
Many trying to just survive,
Other's become to overwhelmed
For they only inside wish to die.

Their minds are full of confusion
Without proper help, won't go far,
Family support no longer enough
These people forget who they are.

Mental illness strikes many people
Nobody know how hard families try,
The phone calls, letters and many prayers
No solutions found, only the question why.

Why wont anyone out there listen
Why must these people be fully down,
Where is the help they need and deserve
Why won't you help turn these people around.

Hae we all become so cold inside
A society that just don't care,
Why can't these people get any help
Have we ran out of love to share.

These pople are human beings
They have feelings that are real,
Place yourself in their shoes just once
Completely live in the pain they feel.

Then ask yourself a simple question
Now do i inside fully understand,
Mental illness is a serious disease
How can I help this child, woman or man.
