Good Sense Of Humour Blunts The Sharp Blades Of Reality Poetry

When life threw me a curveball,
I stumbled—then chuckled mid-fall.
Lumped knees, not pride, I wore like bent,
because sneering is something I've seen.
In chemo rooms and vestibules,
I frenzied dry jokes on aseptic walls.
Doctors simpered, nurses would beam—
a punch-line where the fear had been.
When agony thumped hard and sleep grew thin,
I let the silly light writhe in.
A meme, a whirl , a silly song—
made aching days feel less so long.
No, humour incurable or patch,
But it's the ally, not made to part.
It doesn't silence, hurt or truth,
but let me smirk with my aching tooth.
So here's my laugh, though life gushes beneath,
it's how I rise, not how I lament!

First of all, I must say that I love the sea so much
in the past, I dared to repeat words from the poet Areias,
"Sea, my ground"
RETURN
If the sea deigns so much
to lose a little water
to wash my feet...
I reciprocate, filling it
back with my tears...!
I know the sea's salt,
so many shipwrecked ships...
I know the sea's distance
so many distant loves...
Water that gushes from me
only increases a sea between us
a lonely man without his love!
I know that the sea, my confidant friend,
will feel my death...
I, little innocent river!

beautiful red gushes through the exit
beautiful red drips down your forehead
beautiful red does not love you no more
but beautiful red hugs you for a little while longer
oh lady in red, oh lady in red
why wont you join us in the place we all desire?
dissociate your thoughts till it's no longer there
disintegrate your skin till it boils down all your sins
dream of what you'll see before you greet
disappointment fills you till you can't even breath
the tears that you weep will dry like concrete
hold it in not much longer
sadistic mind, hold me tight
catching one last memory before you drift back into immobilizing sleep

No earthly mortal
Nor any intity can
stop the flow.
Like a river, it gushes
Through the toughest
Barrier and crosses
Boarders with no regards.
Its causes are mixed and multiple.
But every nation lives in denial,
Blaming everyone but themselves.
Yet, every country will reap what it has
Sown as we all witness the trail of blood.
The world is bleeding.
She bleeds from self-inflicted wounds
As well as from forces seen and unseen.
And the best that we have to offer as a cure
Are bandaids which are gravely insufficient
to stop the hemorrhaging. The cause of the
Bleediing is a secret to none, But the solution
Is distasteful and unacceptable to all.

Water gushes
from the purifier
Cold mug
chills my hands
Coffee brews
in the pot
Coffee scent
fills the air

Deep in Black Forest
lives a good-natured ghost
whose eyes are like Nebula
a blurry blue
He Slithers along
steeply falling terrain
where ravine-like dark valley
drops deadly low
Every Lunar night
near Cascading waters
He camps to sing by the grave
of his lost girl
Serpentine river
dragging along cold air
gushes forth Myriad rifts
roars with the ghost
All through the white night
he wails, whispers with Lilt
at dawn he disappears with
Phosphorous smile

Swish of ripples weave
along a ledge...my hands pretending
to rap beneath inked stars ;
while soft winds chime a lonely chorus
filling the shoreline
with empty rhythm and blues;
the ones which lightly twitch my heart--
Every note jangling, crawling
in this stained night...
for the love I know best
gushes out, unnoticed and aloof,
still I pray " by the squeaky old gate
that tomorrow will find" him...as mine:
seasons pass like long processions
that in final screams of angst,
I learn to dance alone...

Breath in, breath out
the tide ebbs in, and surges out,
flows and pauses.
Swings and seesaws rock, bounce and rebound,
up and down, in tick-tock metronome time.
Memories tug, get hugged,
then unclasp, withdraw and let go to fade.
Dreams materialize, then dissolve.
Laughter spits, splits, spills, gushes out,
echoes then wanes to abstain in a chuckle.
Hope flits and flickers like a candle flame
blown to quiver by a shaky breath expelled
while trying to blow
the flame of a birthday candle out.
For the cadence of existence
is a hymn tuned by a conductor's baton
a metric dance, set in a tango two-time step,
a soft-shoe tap rap
in between yesterday and tomorrow,
in between blinks, breath holds.
Nestled momentarily on-hold to pause,
in between the tugs and shoves
of feelings, emotions,
hopes, inspiration
faith and desire.
Hold your breath,
for a brief moment.
Take time to take in
all the ins and outs,
and the roundabout twirls,
that surround you,
while you go
with the flow.

Stream gushes on
The rocky terrain
My boat plunges
In the whirlpools’
Spiralling anguish
Attrition perpetuates, time to get onto the sail
The saviors winsome winds of uplifting solace
Sanctum of stratified darkness freezes within
Time to paint patina of joy on petals of hope
The sky crumbles
On sands of time
Hues of rainbow
Rapture dissolve
I drown in the sea
Of boundless bliss
Enlightened I find
In the cross-current
The oneness divine
Illumined between
The supreme & me

Long retired now; but the
clock yet plays a paramount
roll, when it comes to daily
activities -- still not my
own boss: Doctor's have
schedules, fiber intake for
out-go, often unpredictable;
sign on my toilet door, "Soon
to be occupied!"
Drops of days
have become gushes, rushes
toward an unknown horizon;
the sun now a flicker
like those old black and white
cinema I saw in the theater
as a youth, till the bulb went out,
and the boos and stomping
began...doubt that I would
notice most loud clamor anyway --
all my senses a lot duller
except an increasing tremor of
fear I hide --
climbed a balcony this morning,
a short one --
the old Juliet in a sun-chair,
doing her crossword, fondly
looked up: the smile was distant
but familiar~ her words soothing
and reassuring: "what's a
4 letter word for 60 years, in
sickness and in health loyally
shared?"

When gray waters of June moan…one last time
Near the dimming edge of our isle, offshore--
How so many stars tremble quite sublime
For this clutch of demise gushes its pour.
Near the dimming edge of our isle, offshore
I summon the fighter in me… Wake wake!
For this clutch of demise gushes its pour-
To ignite kiln of hope ‘s flame , and not quake.
I summon the fighter in me … Wake wake!
As courage prevails nudging my bruised soul…
To ignite kiln of hope’s flame , and not quake,
Entombing young brother… down in the knoll.
As courage prevails, nudging my bruised soul,
The deepened cry of goodbye washes the day
Entombing young brother… down in the knoll,
Yet God's light reigns, my angst ebbing away.
The deepened cry of goodbye washes the day...
How so many stars tremble quite sublime
Yet God's light reigns, my angst ebbing away--
When gray waters of June moan…one last time.

The gurgling brook starts to babble near here,
It murmurs, humming a soft mantra song,
With squish, squelch, squirm, its fluid voice is clear,
As it splashes, splutters, dancing along.
It kisses, caresses the bed of stream,
The banks are hugged in sibilant embrace,
Ripples lapping, create a lilting dream,
Each glug, slurp and slosh is rhythmic in grace.
But wind and rain cause torrent gushes loud,
That boom, bang, as waves crash against the shore,
The river churns into a enraged shroud,
That roars, screams, fizzes and hisses once more.
The torrent and tranquil, each play their parts
In the sound ensemble, the steam imparts.

Ascension of our Almighty
Blessings blissful and bountiful
Christ came and conquered our sins
Domain dances everyday
Embrace His eternal love
Forever families as flowers in God's garden
Greatness gushes from our gratitude
Heavenly Holy Spirit's Heart hovers over us
Inspirational internal love reigns internationally
Jovial joy from Jesus 's universal journey
Kaleidoscope King's knowledge
Love lingers as lace upon our souls
Mary the Mother of our Almighty
Nature nurtures our language landscapes
Our opal angelic opera sings as opening buds
Peaceful presence prayers
Questions quickly answered with His Halo
Rising Resurrection of royalty and loyalty
Scripture soars as the soothing sea
Togetherness talks as timeless truths
Utopia universe and understanding
Views of honorable virtues
Waterfall ribbons teach us the Word to the world
'xcellent exalted enlightenment
Yesterday, today and tomorrow with His Trinity
Zenith zones zooming with grace
