Absolutes

Absolute
by Frank Daub

I have always dealt -- in absolutes.
I was educated in this way.
The greatest Man who ever lived
knew NIGHTIME -- from the day.

An absolute stands timelessly
above the doubt –
and tall.
Yet those who will not understand
Reject truth as a wall.

The greatest poem ever written

This is the greatest poem ever written

I am
You are
I am you
You are me
I want you
You want me
I am you
You are me
I am you
You aren,t me
I am not you
We are one
We are human
You are human
I am human
I am
You are
I
You
We are one

Premium Member The Greatest Plan

Can we still be recognized
Who would give a damn
We are documents, comprised
Nowhere woman, nowhere man
It turns out to be the same
About other people
Some of whom are quite insane
Voices loud, minds feeble
They can’t speak for me, I bet
But they do, regardless
It’s the greatest plan been set
To eliminate us.

Premium Member The Greatest Love on Earth

No greater love than a mother’s
           for her children

‘til the world saw a father’s for his son

Premium Member the greatest lesson

the greatest lesson
the one we are here to learn
the only reason we are here
living this life

is love

love,
love,
love,
love,
love
love

love everyone you meet
whether they deserve it
whether they have earned it

because it is the only reason we are here.
Love sweet love

Premium Member tomorrow

I’m getting a new computer tomorrow
I love my tech about as much as I love my boyfriend
It’s M5 chip, 10 CPUs, neural processors and GPUs
will mostly idle away as I grope for the right words
but they won’t show their impatience - no -
they won’t sigh and tap their shoes like a boyfriend.

I’m getting a new computer tomorrow
I’ll love it’s bright, starlight, smooth and flawless skin
maybe not quite as much as I do when I’m groping him
but I’ll sigh with delight as I run my fingers over its form
few things in life completely delight and please me
I know one or two - and one of them will be brand new.

*every year I trade in my Macbook Air for a new one, it only costs ~$250 so why not? That way I have the latest, greatest tech.

Premium Member The greatest gift

greatest gift of all
is the one that you give
from your heart *love*

The World's Greatest Poet

He was the world's greatest poet
But you honestly wouldn't know it
He had the gift of the gab
But his works were dour and drab
He had an ego and would freely show it.

Premium Member THE GREATEST EVENT

See the tent in Egypt and the refugees -
the carpenter, his wife and his son -
gathered in a peaceful moment,
though hunted and on the run.

A joyful scene one evening:
held up by the man’s gentle hands,
the toddler took his first stand
on the soil of the slave-maker’s lands.

One small step for a human,
more profound than Armstrong’s deed.
A giant leap for all mankind
made to fulfil our greatest need.

For that boy just kept on walking
all the way to the cross and His doom.
So much greater that God stepped on earth
than ever man walked on the moon.

Premium Member The Greatest Mistake

The universe's greatest mistake
It knoweth not how to replicate
It marvels at man in his wake
The beauty he sees
Peering o'er the glimmering lake
How his mind moves from state to state
Love, hate, dream, and curiosities that consume.
His dispairs and glooming
Far seer of chances looming
On horizons his mind's eye perceives
Supplanting there his own destinies
At play in a sandbox given thee
From, and of his own mind,
He creates reality
Where most do stumble, blind
-What marvel, humankind

Greatest Task

Who truly knows, the heart of God I ask,
for in knowing so, you took on quite a task.
All the things that’s been spoken, discerning the truth, from a lie,
to know what brings forth life, or causes us to die.
To live in this world, knowing Him, you see,
who are the children of God, who could they truly be.
The one’s who truly know God, took on the greatest task,
the most simplest, powerful questions, one could ever ask.
And God just wants us to know, just who we really be,
after all, we were created in His likeness, you see.
Those who will truly seek Him, He will found,
as they base their lives, upon that solid ground!
They will go through the battles, with a different sight,
knowing that inside them, is a spiritual fight.
They put their trust in Him daily, as they seek His face,
filled with tender mercy, walking in His Grace.

Premium Member My Greatest Fail

Shivering in the moonlight
I still stand ready to fight
They called it my greatest fail
But to me it was my holy grail

Demons dance in your eyes
Whispering familiar sweet lies
Regardless of how hard
I've come this far

Devious intentions made you feel over powered
But the truth is you're just a coward
Serenading parades like charades
While in your sleeves you hid your blades

How much blood has been lost
Because you didn't recognize the cost
Once star crossed lovers fate made us enemies
But it is only my heart that feels the freeze

The worst part is after all I've been through
I still shudder at the idea of what I have to do
So here I am ready to let it all go
There's just one thing I want you to know

They called it my greatest fail
But your love was my holy grail
But piercing the clouds is the moonlight
Because it's finally over...this fight

THE WILD'S GREATEST PARADOX

???THE WILD'S GREATEST PARADOX???

In twilight depths where shadows play,
Two forms of majesty stroll side by side like stray,
The jaguar's golden light, the panther's dark disguise,
One spirit, two faces, in mystic compromise.

With melanism's gift, the panther's born in forest jars
A midnight coat, dressed in night, smooth candy bars.
While sunlight dances on the jaguar's golden hide, ??
Together they roam, in jungle's mystic tide.

Beauty and terror mix in perfect blend,
Clarity and mystery, as day and night contend,
In contrast's harmony, nature's balance reigns,
A paradox of power with dual, mystic refrains.

Through jungle's underworld, they stride with ease,
gods of the wild, in majesty, their fear made the prey freeze,
Their footsteps quiet, on the forest floor as hush night,
A credo to nature's dual & wondrous might.

In a world divided, nature's unity, in the wild, shines
Through contrasts merged, & in division harmony aligns.
Power wears many faces in the jungle's mystic land,
A testament to jungle duality, they both take a stand.

Premium Member Greatest Gift Jesus Christ

Greatest gift is Jesus Christ
So I am inspired to give
I don’t have money but have a life
For Him I must choose to live

Fruit of the Spirit within me
All have yet to fully mature
I ask for guidance by praying
That I can keep my heart pure

Jesus Christ is the greatest gift
He made a way for us all to win
Up my hands go in praises lift
His gift paved a way out of sin

Premium Member CHRISTMAS'S GREATEST GIFT: A Flowing Tanka Litany

CHRISTMAS’S GREATEST GIFE
(A Flowing Tanka Litany)

Come, lend me eyes' ears
As I share the truth of Love’s
Real celebration:
The glorification of
God’s greatest gift giving:-

With waters of love,
Let us rainbow our lives:
Reflecting oneness:-
Like the onement of night’s sky,
Let’s glow in onderfulness:-

Like the moon reflects
The shining light of the sun,
Let's reflect God’s Son:
Blessed Love brightly glowing;
Its Trinity enlightening:-

This allegory,
Must become reality’s
Earthly way of life:-
And let us be the parents
Of such glorious birthing:-

Nourishing this birth,
Let’s raise up equality,
And balanced justice:-
Indeed, let’s be grandparents
Of Divine Wisdom’s guidance:-

Gift wrapped and cradled;
God’s gift of humanized Love:
His Spirit—in Christ—Born:-
This Christmas, let us reflect
God’s gift of true birthing love:-

Give God’s Greatest Gift:
Love, wrapped and bow-tied in peace;
Cradled in our hearts:-
Merry Christmas, my love ones;
Thank God for His greatest gift:-
