our selfless givers
kind firemen and policemen
jumping in harms way
many giving all
losing their lives for others
every single day

From all walks of life,
near and far,
you lie on a gurney,
your own sustenance flowing out of you,
givers of the red.
Quiet heroes take the iron supplements,
so you can give again and again.
for the injured, the soldiers,
the mothers giving birth,
those with cancer,
who depend on your
generosity.
You repeat the feat
because you're noble,
whole blood, platelets.
An honoring refrain-
givers of the red,
saluting you-
givers of the red. ~

The takers never live
They have no idea
The only way to truly experience joyful life is to give
The givers show them
But the takers think they are suckers
Laughing at them behind their backs
and in front of their faces
Calling them names like
losers, liberals, suckers, dupes.
Not understanding
The only way to fully live
is to give to others
To give your time, your talents, your gifts.
The givers give until their bounty is gone
Understanding the way to life
is to give to others
The takers sneer and jeer
and live a half life
or even less
never understanding
that to give is to live

Convenience blooms like money,
So the high and mighty brags, but
A garden watered fresh, with
Honey bees sanctuary, and
Hands that's been there, done that
Souls once bruised, but
Cared for like rising stars,
Comfort comes in any color
No complication
No cunning,
Just simplicity of humming.
Each root in fertility of truth
Spring forth
Chasing frowns
Like compassion
Simmering frazzled heart beat;
Each palm of hands, a
Warm zephyr touch
Temples clean of turmoil, turn to
Feel the love from Source above
Priceless -
I've known such love
So for everyone,
Every living thing,
Love suffice.

givers and takers, in their zone
form habit patterns, they each own
the taker, going on grabbing
whilst the giver, trauma bonding
both deluded and thus forlorn

MORTAL GIVERS
Who are we but mortals?
That we should be so bold,
So presumptuous, so arrogant
As to leave the poor in the cold?
Should we not think of sharing
Especially the ones without,
And always think of giving,
With unquestionable doubt!
Being an only child,
Was encouraged to share,
I was shown to be mild,
And love god and wear,
My love for him on my sleeve,
For the whole world to see,
For I know God, and he sees me.
The needy are desperate
For a loaf of bread,
Their clothes rags, their shoes,
A mere thread, or shred.
Unemployment has gone wild,
A huge percentage is going
To bed hungry
Around the world in every country!
Did we ever think we would,
Live through such an epidemic,
A Covid virus, which became pandemic?
We must give love, dish it out
Lay it on thick,
Don’t even think,
Do it quick,
Don’t be a scrooge, learn to share,
With all, no matter who or where,
Don’t ever be selfishly
Only receivers,
Give, give, all you are able,
Be proudly one of the givers!

They give you blood of their heart
And water of their life to make you rise to might
They shelter you with their shadows
From the shower of dangerous snakes and arrows
They stay awake all night when you are unwell
Pray to God to make you well
They make sure to give you meat
While they eat leaves, and so they repeat
They walk with the pace of your tiny feet
And shine with the melody of your every heart beat
All they do ___ is to think of you
All they want ___ is a successful You!
You are their oxygen, and the sail of their boat
God bless these givers __God bless every parent

Give nothing i but to death my
fleshy bone and skin to line my
pointless coffin in
Think of me as not a favorite dog
or pet left at a kennel or in need
of putting down
And speak not word's of me but
rather of my deeds and actions
For i am merely just my parents son
and brother to my sister and occasionally
a friend to some passing through
And please do not lie on my behalf or
choose to cover up or forget
both the bad and the good i did
I was not always in the right
not always filled with best intentions
The only thing i doth hope if nothing
else is , i gave far more than i took
And may this be my final wish that
every single functional organ
i have to give , shall i donate
For taken far to much i did beyond
my means and lot in life
So let not my life with solitude
and tears of loss on the faces
of my loved one's end
But rather with the joyful gift
of extended life and time given
To some far more needy deserving
significant soul

He touches me so gracefully, like a feather
Floating past, toward the ground it glides
Drifting with a breathe of Spring that flows
Caressing the earth with moisture that works
To bring the seeds to produce those flowers
Inspirations of hope to color our world in
Hues of soft golds, passionate crimson and
Azure blues with some shimmering purples
Melancholy that whispers truth to the heart
Who listens with a sense of tender attention
To details of joy, faith and love that remind
We have this moment to give from the heart
All that we can give, unconditionally and with
A sense of pure acceptance of the One who
Makes giving seem less tedious and more like
A gift that we’ve been given from His spirit!
God bless the givers!

Givers and Takers
For when I am a leaf upon the ground,
As I often am.
You will find me in a state of change.
From the juicy reds and yellows
To a blending shade of brown, to tan, to
nothing.
I will be soggy, soft, limp.
Or a reactive crinkle under your feet
Depending on the atmosphere.
It is delicious, this decomposing.
I will wonder whether others feel how
important this is.
This travel from beauty to usefulness.
And who will appreciate what I’ve done?
From spectacle to life-giver.
In whose eye will the appreciation lay?
And will it be from circumstance
Or reflection?

Takers take
Givers give
The latter do
Eternally live.

Family of caregivers I know
give charity of vicious mercy
when one falls ill under care
is helped to die quickly in joy
on gaining back good health
caregivers curse the ill fate
that aided victim to live again
But the very smart caregivers
pray for long golden lifespan
when illness is creeping on them
or death is seen wagging its tail
wanting to jump on in action
truck-loads of combat things
are ferried in sooner than later
prayers upon prayers hastily ring
from lips of the tough caregivers
Scenario of these living souls
puzzles and dazzles my mind
care-giving with icy good heart
to end life quickly is daily game
played by mercy-banner bearers
those lost hearts of the soul-less
the ones who believe earthly life
is a game of merciless charities
where intrigue is virtue, love vice

Some people give and some people take, live by made up rules because the takers are fake.
Taking for granted in all that you do, you can't give enough and it gets the better of you.
The givers give their very last coin to the taker that takes it for a slot or a bet, they never win but they don't care there is always another giver somewhere.
The taker took love and threw it away, the giver still gives it each and every day.
The taker takes joy and thrill from the steal, the gives thrives on spreading good will.
The taker takes but has nothing to show from it. The giver gives everything and has all they need because inside them is a fountain of giving or so it seems.
The world is in balance the people have hope for the givers give love and takers soak it up.

The once was a Native American Navajo
Who served his country and to war did go.
He wrote codes by the score
Which helped end the war
But came home to no fame, “Oh, no.”
The World War II ends in ‘45
Choctaw and Comanche side by side
Broke the back of the Fuhrer
Our messages got through sure!
With out their gift we’d not stem the tide!
It took fifty five years and more
For the US to give medals they wore
Many went to their graves
Still feeling enslaved
But, Congressional Gold the corpse bore.

This poem has been swimming in my marrow for a season
This poem is for the DNA giver, this poem has been building
and rebuilding in my core. What can I really say for my parents?
So much, I owe to them, so much God has blessed our family because of a deep faith
and obedience to him. Leaders, teachers and givers you are. Guidance you have given to me
and love. You are a blessing to me, through out my life. I will always need you, stay away
from that ten by ten patch of earth. Continue on the straight and narrow.
Spread love not trash*smile*
I am what I am because of my DNA pool givers.
