MORTAL GIVERS
Who are we but mortals?
That we should be so bold,
So presumptuous, so arrogant
As to leave the poor in the cold?
Should we not think of sharing
Especially the ones without,
And always think of giving,
With unquestionable doubt!
Being an only child,
Was encouraged to share,
I was shown to be mild,
And love god and wear,
My love for him on my sleeve,
For the whole world to see,
For I know God, and he sees me.
The needy are desperate
For a loaf of bread,
Their clothes rags, their shoes,
A mere thread, or shred.
Unemployment has gone wild,
A huge percentage is going
To bed hungry
Around the world in every country!
Did we ever think we would,
Live through such an epidemic,
A Covid virus, which became pandemic?
We must give love, dish it out
Lay it on thick,
Don’t even think,
Do it quick,
Don’t be a scrooge, learn to share,
With all, no matter who or where,
Don’t ever be selfishly
Only receivers,
Give, give, all you are able,
Be proudly one of the givers!

They give you blood of their heart
And water of their life to make you rise to might
They shelter you with their shadows
From the shower of dangerous snakes and arrows
They stay awake all night when you are unwell
Pray to God to make you well
They make sure to give you meat
While they eat leaves, and so they repeat
They walk with the pace of your tiny feet
And shine with the melody of your every heart beat
All they do ___ is to think of you
All they want ___ is a successful You!
You are their oxygen, and the sail of their boat
God bless these givers __God bless every parent

Some people give and some people take, live by made up rules because the takers are fake.
Taking for granted in all that you do, you can't give enough and it gets the better of you.
The givers give their very last coin to the taker that takes it for a slot or a bet, they never win but they don't care there is always another giver somewhere.
The taker took love and threw it away, the giver still gives it each and every day.
The taker takes joy and thrill from the steal, the gives thrives on spreading good will.
The taker takes but has nothing to show from it. The giver gives everything and has all they need because inside them is a fountain of giving or so it seems.
The world is in balance the people have hope for the givers give love and takers soak it up.

The once was a Native American Navajo
Who served his country and to war did go.
He wrote codes by the score
Which helped end the war
But came home to no fame, “Oh, no.”
The World War II ends in ‘45
Choctaw and Comanche side by side
Broke the back of the Fuhrer
Our messages got through sure!
With out their gift we’d not stem the tide!
It took fifty five years and more
For the US to give medals they wore
Many went to their graves
Still feeling enslaved
But, Congressional Gold the corpse bore.

I’m not yet quite ready for this love
I know I can face the easy days
But when the days between us begin to turn rough
I want to know if it’s tough love
Or together we fall still reqauinted
Some are givers, some are takers
Some feel real love, others love fakers
Oh I’m looking in the eye of a needle
With the vision of an eagle
Seeking your love inside
Givers and takers, I’m ready to give my all
But if you take it all, what will you give in return
The givers believe they own nothing
The takers believe they owe nothing
So tell me how high will be the price of love to you
Will it break your bank and not my heart
If your a giver as much as me
Take all of me or else just let me be
I’m not counting the amounts I want in return
Just that your gonna let this fire burn
If I have to go searching for wood
You know I won’t be gone for long
I’ll give you as much as your can carry
Givers and takers, I’m ready to give my all
But if you take it all, what will you give in return
The givers believe they own nothing
The takers believe they owe nothing
So tell me how high will be the price of love to you
Will it break your bank and not my heart
If your a giver as much as me
Take all of me or else just let me be
The givers believe they own nothing
The takers believe they owe nothing
So tell me how high will be the price of love to you
Will it break your bank and not my heart
If your a giver as much as me
Take all of me or else just let me be

To give is to gain
in the eyes of the mind
of a soul that is honest
and loving and kind.
It's fair to expect
that you get what you give
as your life is a measure
of morals you live.
What do we gain
when were willing to give?
What force feeds the soul
in our willing to live?
When given the chance
of a lifetime to choose,
our hope is the treasure
our hearts cannot lose.
Like a torch we pass down
to each, one by one.
To mothers as daughters
and fathers as sons,
a hope burning brightly,
a steady flame fast,
the strength of our future
through hope from our past.
We pass on these ways
without saying a word
as actions speak louder
and clearly are heard.
The examples are set
by the actions we choose,
without even thinking
of what we could lose
What is the worth
in the willing to give?
What is the point
of our purpose to live?
We give with the hope
of a better tomorrow.
To give up our hope
were are certain for sorrow
What is the cost
when we won't even try?
To give up our hope
and eventually die?
We break the connections
that keep us in sync,
a game of survival
that's lived on the brink.
All things find death
in the journey of life.
Hope is the light
through the darkness of strife.
We give and we gain,
give up and we lose.
What we will give
shapes the world that we choose.

I hope we all at least aspire to become adept caregivers and receivers,
as these two directions seem to be nondualist,
mutually symbiotic;
to give care is neither better nor worse than to receive,
as optimal healthy care giving is also receiving--
these interactions mutually feed and enrich each other.
We call this healthy and growing love.
The best care giving comes out of love and nurturance,
not merely the exterior forms of ego discipline,
the ego-control of negative emotions and thoughts.
Love sublimates negativity,
often with humor at our own ecoconsciously mindful deep learning expense,
co-investment,
looking even deeper at this relationship in this time,
and learning to share this Basic Attendance
in a nondual spirit of co-mentorship.
Put another more therapeutic way,
health care professional training has invested in attorneys
and insurance bottom-line profit-seeking,
risk-management corporations,
to articulate how to defend oneself,
one's practice,
one's relationships,
from inappropriate touch and language and aggressive behavior.
This is not a bad thing in our WinLose ecopolitical economy,
but it is the less compelling side of our WinWin opportunity-optimization potential
for both caregiving and receiving
which is all about how to therapeutically touch and speak
and derive maturing empathic consciousness.
Both strict conservatives and progress-nurturers can agree
that our GoldenRule caregiving-receiving journey
within this health v pathology Earth climate,
through both internal and external landscapes of ecotherapeutic touch and language,
is how we further evolve together
toward optimizing WinWin health,
regenerative caregiving-receiving,
communicating with hands and feet and mouth from within mutually cooperative empathic trust.
As this conversion occurs and re-occurs and concurs,
then life becomes all about WinWin optimizing appropriate touch.
Too long enduring issues of inappropriate touch
become artifacts of a prior benighted millennium,
a former age and stage and life,
our progress-conserving regenerate Elders would not wish stuck upon us
or our great-grandchildren of all Earth's species.

Political Verse
Life itself sometimes begins at the "End"? Life always has a beginning, and I am not certain about how "Life itself" will "End".Will you hold on to your "Life" that you have now to invigorate, and inspire the desire that the love gives so that you can live again, regardless of the condition that we sometimes find ourselves in. You may be in a"Wheel Chair",and think that no one cares, but please put yourself at ease, and be completely aware that you still have "Life there in that "Wheel Chair"! Caregivers give care even if we may be in a wheel chair! Our caregivers really do "Care",for those who are "Bed Ridden",or those who are in a "Wheel Chair"! They know where you are,and they realize why they are "THERE"! They realize that they truly love and give "Loving""Care"!!! We all can look around, and see "LIFE" everywhere! We can look inside of ourselves, and find life "THERE",and in the "Caregivers" that give us "Care"!"Care giving can start inside where "GOD" resides and can defeat the enemy that tries to take our "Lives"! Caregivers are "Blessed" to be everywhere, and "Caregivers" support "Dare to Care"! We dare you to care, and we swear,as "Caregivers that we will"Forbear"the "Hard Work" of giving, kindness, compassion, patience, and tender love to some who do not care:but as a "Caregiver" we "Care"". You may not see us ,but we are everywhere! God puts "Caregivers" here to "Care"! Did you see that "Caregiver watching "Over" "There"? "Let us "Love";Do not be afraid of "Loving too, too, much: Love is "The Fulfilling" of "The Law"!

Narrative
Family of caregivers I know
give charity of vicious mercy
when one falls ill under care
is helped to die quickly in joy
on gaining back good health
caregivers curse the ill fate
that aided victim to live again
But the very smart caregivers
pray for long golden lifespan
when illness is creeping on them
or death is seen wagging its tail
wanting to jump on in action
truck-loads of combat things
are ferried in sooner than later
prayers upon prayers hastily ring
from lips of the tough caregivers
Scenario of these living souls
puzzles and dazzles my mind
care-giving with icy good heart
to end life quickly is daily game
played by mercy-banner bearers
those lost hearts of the soul-less
the ones who believe earthly life
is a game of merciless charities
where intrigue is virtue, love vice

Delicious sweets of red and green:
I know not where else they be seen.
Such amount and diversity!
Great caretakers of peace and love.
Their faces beam bright from above.
A friendship great between us lies.
Grand treasures from those brown;
yet, for repayment we cut them down.
Is usury just gratuity?

This poem has been swimming in my marrow for a season
This poem is for the DNA giver, this poem has been building
and rebuilding in my core. What can I really say for my parents?
So much, I owe to them, so much God has blessed our family because of a deep faith
and obedience to him. Leaders, teachers and givers you are. Guidance you have given to me
and love. You are a blessing to me, through out my life. I will always need you, stay away
from that ten by ten patch of earth. Continue on the straight and narrow.
Spread love not trash*smile*
I am what I am because of my DNA pool givers.

Light Verse
Convenience blooms like money,
So the high and mighty brags, but
A garden watered fresh, with
Honey bees sanctuary, and
Hands that's been there, done that
Souls once bruised, but
Cared for like rising stars,
Comfort comes in any color
No complication
No cunning,
Just simplicity of humming.
Each root in fertility of truth
Spring forth
Chasing frowns
Like compassion
Simmering frazzled heart beat;
Each palm of hands, a
Warm zephyr touch
Temples clean of turmoil, turn to
Feel the love from Source above
Priceless -
I've known such love
So for everyone,
Every living thing,
Love suffice.

Bio
Enabled by God, the Author and Exemplar of giving
they exercise granting deeds of generous thriving…
With sincere gratitude, we commend them midst bliss:
foremost are parents showering unconditional love from hearts abyss…
brother and sisters, great siblings for their support
as well as cheering friends who show caring escort…
teachers, mentors, counselors in their constant reaching-out
ministering, imparting truth and wisdom without doubt…
neighbors, colleagues, fellows presenting worthy community involvements
along peace and order sentinels toward good progress engagements…
pets like our cats, dogs, birds, rabbits, hamsters as relievers of stress
not forgetting our gardens with plants and flowers, pacifying distress…
hobbies against rigorous schedule, bestowing sweet pleasure
work, job, task and chores, upholding or adding to financial treasure…
nature, environment, parks, home of refuge serving as security-haven
sanctuary or worship places that bring our souls nigh to heaven…
how about trials and sufferings that develop virtuous attitude
sustaining will-power, enhancing prayerfulness’ fortitude…
numerous can still be added since we are always blest
with givers*, (including ourselves) that unselfishly, contribute the best.
List in couplet form
*2Corinthians 9:7 Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.

From all walks of life,
near and far,
you lie on a gurney,
your own sustenance flowing out of you,
givers of the red.
Quiet heroes take the iron supplements,
so you can give again and again.
for the injured, the soldiers,
the mothers giving birth,
those with cancer,
who depend on your
generosity.
You repeat the feat
because you're noble,
whole blood, platelets.
An honoring refrain-
givers of the red,
saluting you-
givers of the red. ~

The takers never live
They have no idea
The only way to truly experience joyful life is to give
The givers show them
But the takers think they are suckers
Laughing at them behind their backs
and in front of their faces
Calling them names like
losers, liberals, suckers, dupes.
Not understanding
The only way to fully live
is to give to others
To give your time, your talents, your gifts.
The givers give until their bounty is gone
Understanding the way to life
is to give to others
The takers sneer and jeer
and live a half life
or even less
never understanding
that to give is to live
