Chris prompts his friend, Cyra
to help him win the
heart of his true love,
Roxy

Chris is easy on the eyes
a dreamy kinda guy
but as far as conversation goes
he’s got no game

Cyra articulates like no other,
a maven of expression
But visible impression?
Not so much

Chris plans the evening well,
standing under the spell of
Roxy’s second-story window
(taming butterflies)

Cyra too on the scene
is nowhere to be seen
as if hiding in a cloud
awaiting a cue

Chris tosses candied sweethearts
at her window, she finally awakens
Roxy’s appearance is captivating,
stirring Chris’s senses

Surrogate Cyra begins on cue
launching love-struck expressions
Roxy nearly swoons …
Chris starts coughing

Discerning the subterfuge
as coughing Chris chokes
Roxy beseechingly begs,
“Who are you? What is your name?”

Truth undisguised
Cyra promptly replies,
“Cyra … NO! I will not lie—
I am generative AI”

Roxy faints, befuddled
Chris’s words muddled
Thus ends this mad romp—
AI awaits a prompt

Yet all stirrings emanate from the primal swirl
 of quantum motions;
Ever moving, always fleeting, arising here,
 then there, as revelations.

From My Front Porch

Porches,
attached decks,
patios,
intimate places for alfresco,

These make a difference
between a fortressed house
and a transparent home,
between an ego castle
and an eco-habitat.

We also spread rhododendron bushes
and hostas,
flowers and ferns
around our stone
and concrete bound foundations.

We want stable defenses
but prefer to camouflage houses
in organic color,
life giving and taking shapes.

These boundary vistas
speak of heart felt reminders
our habitat is rooted
in Earth's wilderness

In vulnerability
hidden from transparency
except with those who share our sacred space
inside
and upon,
within our co-passioned present time,

Presence bonding,
double-binding,
re-membering past wildness
anticipating future re-generative
re-storative
re-habituating
re-acclimating
re-bounding win/lose less
for more win/win paradise

Just barely 2020 visible
and silently audible
and fresco fragranced
and tasted,
felt
and so nearly touched
longing into belonging
on our cooperatively-owned front porch.

Stream

jet-stream, that trails
jet-stream, clearly shown
to us as the mark, as the mark of the one
most awesome of gods, of the Creating Snail
    gentle, and generative,
                      and
                fertile
                   by: our one mind 

                                      below 
             all our reason, in light
of our eyes, of our ancients
 in season

fruit, when found eaten
red hand, in jar dripping
we liken to something, reflux acid sweetened
sweet before swallow, as is every scroll's sum--memory
    distant, and blind, 
                      but 
          not dumb

My Problem With Evil

As pre-pubescent predilections erected
a shadow in my mirror

A more safely theological "Problem of Evil"
evolved into the elephant in my bedroom
of my own irresistible Evil nature:
My longing for mutually beloving 
intimate relationships
that could only be masculine compelling 
and true
and good
if spiritually "evil."

Yet when I spoke with Elder trees,
listened to mourning dove sighs,
watched seasons surf 
synergetic equipoise,
I felt passionate omnipresence
still-struggling toward a polyculturing grace
of radically omnipotent grace,
bi-generative sacred place.

Natural systems seemed bisexually organizing 
and inclusively regenerative,
or human nature cannot thrive
a bicameral balancing mind
within EarthTribe's evolving body.

Evil revolves more justly
when perceived backward.
My good and true resolution 
to Live
as multiculturally compassionate
as possible.

Emergent with life, feeling and a pulse
Send it on its way while clinging to the egg
Enable it from a distance to become of use
Keep yourself in a suggestive cocoon
State of fixation, enameled in stasis
Embedded in concrete reality if only to form
Wrapped in patterns, in sequences, in character, in disarray
Care to be objective, immersive, informative, and inspired
Decline to describe, suggest, discuss, gaps between life
Grasp the past meandering.  Record the record of history
Understand; you are a guest in your own home
In your own existence; fantasies not included
Invoke the yoke of yellow, involve useful dialogue
Desirable, normal, absurd diagnosis of that which is
Adapt to youth as it passes 
Glanced at by events unfolding, reflected in a mirror
Placed appropriately in your path
From the context, content of that which is perceived
In the persistence of memory let it live

Angel of the Wasteland

Angels have beautiful wings
Sometimes they carry bell that rings
But he has wings of colossal bat
Eyes cobalt blue like a hellcat

Apocalypse is mistaken for time of destruction 
With God’s glory as only hope beacon
But infect it means unveiling what is hidden
But it’s true of God’s coming it is an omen

 The song sings of heaven on earth
Chance for rebirth
But nineties and new millennium was for a soul
As black as coal

Pain violence famine and fire
But like different song says he did not start the fire
It is difficult to be generative crop
In this place where there is no water other than teardrop

Nothing for thirst of the soul
To console
He is not a beautiful angel playing trumpet

He has his place

Old Ladies now restrained, new generative order marched forward
Giant Rolls Royce phantom chose the sleek super woman model lines 
BMW market sentiments configured cars with ladies; attracting men 
Lady celebrities flirted with the automobile industry.

Today men have dream car encounters with lithe womanly beauty
Soft and silky riding in true aristocratic behavior, 
Each curve or turn touched by his sizzling predefined instigation;
To suffers her enslavement with joy as she plays to his whims.

How I love a young replaceable mate exposing wild raw radiance
Never to question, disagree with my fascinating performance.
