I think of all these people, who will land in the emergency room
That night,
I think of all those who think of suicide as we open
A door,
I think of very old dogs walking around knowing
that they will die,
I think of the poets who are alone and doubt their poetry,
I think of people who have friends only on a screen
of television,
I think of all those who depend on health care,
To the old men lying on their beds in the Saint Thomas residence,
I think of all those who will learn a death in the day,
To the artists who want to flee their country,
To the orphans who seek parents who no longer exist,
I think of all the lovers abandoned, who live only with a ghost,
To the young people who seek violence so as not to doubt,
I understand their despair, and say to them:
“ Feel free to share your misfortune”

I use to see the good
In the world.
Now I don't,
Not any more.
Now I believe in
Something different.
Families only love you
For what they can
give from you
Then they turn
You away.
When there done with you .
Friends only pretend to be
Your friend.
So they can get something
From you.
Using you till have
No more need for you.
People will back stab you
Then you a blind eye and
Not even care.
The world is cold
And there is no good in the world.
God is used for control,
Not the right reasons.
No one really believes in God any more,
Not like the bible says.
I used to trust with
No thought of if
I was going to be
Backstabbed or taken advantage.
But now I see things differently.
"Every struggle in my life has been a ....
lesson, and made me stronger and given me wings."
Now, I can look back on my life and see the chapters
some are beautiful but many are decay
I have called many friends only to be hurt
their cruelty like a dagger to my trusting heart
I have known death, loss and grief, and rejection
but now I realize that this journey has made me strong
when I am weeping I step back usually into poetry
where I can pour out my tears and my pain for the world
I have lost so many important to me
and I find them down a winding path
just engraved names in stone forevermore
but their graves are peaceful and birds sing
and the trees sway and flowers bloom
so, that gives me a sense of peace for a moment
but as I leave the dagger of remembrance plunges

Play music, can dance
Observe old body on floor
Shake the world slowly
Love is like a rose
In time it shines the world's heart
out of time it dies
Mountain brook sings songs
Like solitary reaper
None, but lovers hear
in the cage of mountain flocks
the elegant scenery of predecessor lives
in the waist of the mountain brook
the sweet melody of left love lives
in the lap of flowing river
the endless life of saintly love lives
in the blowing lane of autumnal breeze
the salacious tone of winter lives
in the sky-way of flying birds
the intoxicated mind of solitary beloved lives
None possesses time
It's independent, endless;
Wisdom- friends only
Alone mind builds up
Carnal knowledge of the world
Breathing minutes die
Life, death and knowledge
Anthem of world's existence
Weaving love passion

Here he comes! They all say, anticipating fantastical antics.
He does not disappoint. Pushes his head into the fish tank.
Shakes broken cracker crumbs onto an unsuspecting partygoer,
Leads the room into spontaneous dancing. Lifts his shirt to show his flab.
The others come out from the kitchen, recognizing that he is here.
He is doing his best to dazzle them, to make them smile, to keep them laughing.
They are grateful he has finally arrived. The party was a dud up until now.
Do you think someone should take him home? Someone offers six hours later.
There are no volunteers. He has no friends, only spectators.
He is the ultimate party animal, yet, none have been to his house.
He spent his life becoming a comic entertainer for solemn stuffed animals.
He falls asleep on the couch, and they tiptoe around him.
The next party it all begins again. They lie in wait, wishing he would hurry.
It is dull until he arrives. They keep looking at the door expectantly.
No one fills a room with laughter as fast as he does.
Alas, he is not coming. He committed suicide by hanging an hour before.
Tooee was a Lab Albino
My sons friend was a vet
She brought her home one day
And Tooee became our pet.
She was as white as snow
A ball of fur who lived for three years
She was a rat, she was the cutest I ever saw
She was a peaceful soul, I’ll give her that.
The family loved her so
My husband took her for walks in the corridor
My son would tickle her belly
As she lay on her back quietly
Enjoying it to the core
My daughter would keep her fed
She lived inside a drawer.
She left us after three days of being sick
The vet could do nothing it was just old age
She clung to the front of my T-shirt
With her little paws,I fed her with a stopper
She slept like that, knowing the comfort
Of being next to me, my little baby
The day she died, my family cried
We lost a furry friend, a family member
Whose now in Heaven
Forever we will remember our Tooee.

Friends only few are worth
others are not good mirth
the good guys have a party
the others are confused ...
A Big NO to God
Some take great pride in declaring God dead.
What are the thoughts in
their godless heads?
A world where infanticide is perfectly alright.
And "choice"is a word, that makes evil, right?
Where Rabbis are shot dead in the street?
And a Christian poem, their eyes will not meet.
And love and world peace are their hue and cry.
Yet, they can't understand why, the violence, asking,
"why, oh why?"
Brainwashed in our society to think guns kill people.
You never find these folks in a synagogue nor under
a steeple.
Don't you know it's fine today, to attack the police?
And the working man, well, he must be fleeced!
It's perfectly OK to do whatever you choose!
Their close friends only, with them, do they want to
schmooze.
Chasing animal and tree rights, yes that's their religion.
And so, Almighty God, is crushed to a smidgen!

Today’s my birthday, I turned 39, I should be laughing, I should be fine, instead I’m thinking, probably too much, bout all the people who didn’t send love, last year was bad, this next is mine, the many years, I’ve said that line, I’ve started again, Ive done it before, another new house, another new door, back to the point, back to this now, back to my feelings, and why I’m so down, the day I was born, the day I was named, feels like a curse, I should be ashamed, made all the mistakes, broke all the rules, end of the day I was the fool, I want it to end, don’t want to be sad, my mum! And my dad!, I don’t give a or maybe I do, I need good friends, only a few, I’m struggling to cope, Im struggling to smile, I’m struggling to say my life’s worthwhile, today is bad, I knew it would be, a day in the life of “happy” Me!
Father and I would sit on the bench at the senior's residence,
We would watch the tiny sparrows splash about in the puddles.
The sparrows would twitter and fly about in cheerful harmony,
We would watch them swoop and soar to their destination..
Those were blessed days together, I will always remember them well,
Never to come again simply good memories with our father.
Days where we would dine in the beautiful dinning-hall with friends,
Go to birthday parties together and sing Happy Birthday.
Rainy days come and go, the sun shines again,
We miss our relatives and friends only to be reunited with them.
I think of our beloved mother, who would come to visit,
Beautiful days at the generous house where we all used to live.
Memories of our beautiful children coming to visit,
Walks to the conservation area and playground,
What friendly days with our relatives,
Visits to the local restaurant and popular dinning.
God blesses us and may the blessings continue.
Good memories always and I am thankful.

Butterflies and daisies, orange and yellow day lilies,
I'd love to take you with me, but I'm just too lazy,
and you'd probably drive me crazy-
You have always, and you will always....
-AMAZE me.
My dream has always been, to breath in a garden of zen,
and float around like bubbles; and then pop,
and do it all over again.
For we don't pick our friends, only a few will stay,
then they go right on their merry way.
Unless you are you, they'd stay for eternity,
and stay until the final day.
An angel on a soft lily pad,
with little critters keeping her company-
Fields and fields of daisies,
and butterflies surrounding all over me.
Butterflies and daisies,
purple and pink pansies,
I'd love to pick you and take you home,
Surely I am too lazy-
You'd most likely drive my hunger crazy,
For you, My love, have saved me-
You have always, and you will always....
-AMAZE me.

I made it a must to always stand outside the kiosk where you worked, always coming after lunch coz if I came earlier I would feel like a failure cause I wouldn't be able to buy you lunch, come sun or rain I would be there after two days cause if I made it everyday it would make it more obvious how much I feel for you, I finally told you I liked you and you said you liked me too but we should stay friends only, in my mind I heard am not trying hard enough, so I tried harder. My first sign to stop should have been that you always seemed to find an excuse for me not to escort you home, the second should have been that you said you liked me but never showed it, the third and final straw was the day I finally had a chance to escort you home but was with some random guy whom a blind guy could see that you liked, guess being in denial all that time was the only illusion I had of us being the perfect couple...
Your loyal and trustworthy; a true special kind
Beautiful soul in spirit & mind
You are a person whom I can depend
Thank you for being such a good friend
Thank you for being supportive & not giving up
You were persistent to pull me out of that rut
Your caring, sharing and so much like me…..
With the same points of view and personality
I cant face anyone when I’m enduring emotional hell
I can express what is wrong you can deal with me well
No one has ever been there for me the way that you have
We’ve connected, sure now to have always have a laugh
I’m grateful for your persistence to ensure that i'm well
So Supportive you've been there for me when I've fell
Every person calls acquaintances ‘friends’ when they’re not….
When its a network of associates we’ve all got
True friends only appear a few times during life
Strength being offered in times of strife
I'm unsure of how long we'll have to be apart
But good communication we've got to a fine art
Promise me we wont ever lose touch while your away
I wish you weren't going and that you can stay
So i suppose this is goodbye from your best friend;
who will always be here and whom you can depend.
