Notes About The Poem

I could never understand what makes a person think they are helping by critcizing others. I've heard others call it "helpful criticism" but at length it stops being helpful and becomes Destructive Criticism because it tears down self esteem and makes one feel like giving up . It also makes the person you are criticizing develope a strong dislike for you. Also if someone has a different opinion from yours that does not necessarily make that person your enemy.  They just see things differently, that's all. It Is So Far Still A Free Country.

Poem of the Day

P-oems that have a message or say something bright.
O- r one that is well written and leaves you feeling light.
E- xpresses feelings deep inside and gives one pause and thought.
M- aking an important point or a dream we've sought.

O- r mayhap just to bring a smile to another's face.
F- or poetry is read for fun and to add to life some grace.

T- rying to find fault with friends only breeds contention.
H- elping, healing, having fun is the sites intention.
E- leminate the negative, accentuate the positive.

D- o things that make you happy.
A- ccept the differences in others.
Y- our talent is wasted on negativity.

Our diversity is what makes this world an interesting place to live, to learn, to grow, to appreciate others for their uniqueness. This is a wonderful poem that should be read in English classes.
