Sparrow Delight
Father and I would sit on the bench at the senior's residence,
We would watch the tiny sparrows splash about in the puddles.
The sparrows would twitter and fly about in cheerful harmony,
We would watch them swoop and soar to their destination..
Those were blessed days together, I will always remember them well,
Never to come again simply good memories with our father.
Days where we would dine in the beautiful dinning-hall with friends,
Go to birthday parties together and sing Happy Birthday.
Rainy days come and go, the sun shines again,
We miss our relatives and friends only to be reunited with them.
I think of our beloved mother, who would come to visit,
Beautiful days at the generous house where we all used to live.
Memories of our beautiful children coming to visit,
Walks to the conservation area and playground,
What friendly days with our relatives,
Visits to the local restaurant and popular dinning.
God blesses us and may the blessings continue.
Good memories always and I am thankful.
