What we gone do

I don't understand this trend
I don't like where we're going
In.
Somebody who don't like me and
Never did
Wanna see me baffled when she
has her first kid
To be the there common ground
To be in luxury when I am unwhined
Don't wanna be the bruint of your
Jokes
At least with her I have hope

Babe ain't no dispute when I am with you
Adagio Bassia see-ah
There ain't no dispute
Tell that puke-fool of yours to leave me alone
Like the Dells said when all the Goodies Gone
Is it shame on me
Want you in my corner
That's how a true love should be
Nah but you got them phrases
Like I am a ho
It like this
I that and simple
Get it right to app the oah
Let your ex be your coach

Let say it's so like it's ah movie
Got your grooving stufguess you tryna groove me
To marry me takes
Ah thyme o fair
Couple shall we
Groove me if you dare
I want your baby
Cum inside me
Don't that sound real crazy
Spent my thyme wiff you
Tell me what's next
Tell me what we going do

More Than A Soft Toy

To her mum's spanks,
let her cry on your tender shoulder,
oh, soft toy Teddy,

Through all her sleepless nights,
lull her to deep sleep
by her side remain steady.

When the weather burns hot,
soak her sweat away.
When cold wind whispers
let your warmth be ever ready.

Though you are a toy,
be more than that to her,
If you had a tummy
Let her feed you, as if you live.

Though, she dislikes your silver shade,
in the darkest nights,
let your brightness calm her fears.
Throughout her childhood
even for a breath, never leave.

Remain her best friend;
though wordless, speak to her heart,
for only in your comfort she believes.

Such were the tender words of my aunt's sermon,
to my beautiful Eliza,
for she fulfilled each promise
made to Aunty Jane
showering me with nothing but relief.

Joana, here I hand over to you Eliza,
from your grand Aunt to you my niece,
As it guided my childhood,
let it guide yours too.

Keep it clean, take good care of it.
As I hand it over to you,
one day hand it over to your niece too,
a bond of comfort
that will outlive just us two.

An Angel Called Best Friend

An angel from heaven,
a fairy from a tale.
Her heart, bigger than
any kind of pain.

Peace or chaos —
doesn't matter.
With her by my side,
everything is better.

Her on my side?
Yes, she is!
Don't even know
how I deserve this.

But glad I am,
for sure.
Without her,
it wouldn't be the same anymore.

MY FRIEND

My friend is sad and so am I
For different reasons I ask Him, ‘why?’
He looks at me neither bold nor blue.
A light glows pink in merry hue.

She called me up and poured her mind
I felt the same, of a different kind.
When spirit’s measure stretched at length
I woke up to find, I’ve lost all strength.
She has been trying to dry out her tears
While I here, myself was driving my fears.
No one to share my feelings drawn
I gathered strength to fill her morn.
With laughter and light she retired to bed
I worked the night, was awake instead.
Today it was told it’s not required
I had my share of the pain I shared.

Then reasoned out ‘was it all meant
To surrender my wisdom or my strength?’.
He looked at me and waited long-------
Till I blew my breath of scorn
Was that how You cleaned my eyes?
Was it healthy for the spirit to rise?

My friend’s laughter at the end of the call
Made me realize once and for all
My hard work somewhere has paid me well
I have reasons for love to dwell.

Love for Him came naturally, through,
I looked at Him and felt so blue-----
He could have gone but He never did.
He had to show me my greatest need.

Kudos to my life-long friend, who
Accomplished all of her major goals,
Though she faced severe challenges.
Education and experience did not fail Kate.

Same Building

we came up same building,
same busted elevator, same rumors in the walls —
three girls stacked on top of each other
like secrets whispered through radiator pipes.
6S - she’s half rican, half black,
but don’t call her half - she all attitude,
dark skin glowing when she laughs too loud,
hips slick like she dancing with nobody’s permission.
5E - 5’1 and built like a threat,
she got a stare that’ll stop you mid-lie.
she hate surprises, so we never sneak up -
she come knocking first if you do her wrong.
then me - 7N, freckles spread like stars on light skin,
red-brown hair tied up, book in my lap,
content to stay inside while they chase block heat.
they pull me out anyway - stoop nights, corner gossip,
big dreams that don’t always fit our pockets.
we so different it make no sense -
three girls shaped like soft rebellion,
like hard lessons, like love
that never needed no permission slip.
puberty tried to twist us up,
boys tried to break us open,
life threw her worst
and we just leaned closer -
me, yaphia, tarita - same building girls,
same busted elevator,
still going up.

In Every Lifetime

In this lifetime she is a mutt,
Small, Scrappy, sleepy, sweet,
Blinking eyes and gnawing teeth,
I'd know her in every lifetime,

In the one before she was tall,
Aching legs and honeycomb eyes,
Dutifully beautiful, kind, loyal,
A shadow with a wagging tail,

Before that she was white as snow,
Playful, pitiful, pretty, pale,
Sitting on the carpet awaiting my dad,
as I played with her ear and paw,

I didn't meet the one before,
I'm told she was quick, smart,
Like a pistol shot, a starting gun,
rescued, for a good life somewhere new.

I hope, when this lifetime is over,
I will meet each version of her,
Maisie, Lucy, Suki, Bonnie,
And we'll venture into the next one.

Premium MemberShe Looked At Me

It is National Happy Cat Month (September). Please consider adoption.

Cat: An incomparable companion that smoothes the bumpy road.
She looked at me with somber eyes
enchanting with her wily guise.
Hesitant love became her stance
as she wondered at her sole chance
by blinking lovely golden eyes.

Living life with abuse and lies
never knowing what love implies
cautiously observing askance,
	she looked at me.

Asking only for warm allies
and love that her bearing belies
hopeful that this is no mischance
and she may enrich and enhance
my cheerless life with loving ties
	she looked at me.

Silent Scream

Fell to my knees, broken that day
Couldn't believe you'd been taken.
Cut down in your prime by Evil.
Blood. Bullets were not meant for you.
The Devil flashed a smile in court.
Your family grieved in silence;
Screaming inside, "You murderer!"
Karma will have her way with you.

Mine favourite colours came to be
When her piece of art set me free.

Premium MemberGalactic Gossip

Beneath the stars, a glittery haze,
A cosmic queen in her celestial daze.
She told me, "Darling, can't you tell?
This is just your fabulous destiny, spelled!"

She pulled out cards, all shimmery and bright,
And whispered secrets, bathed in moonlit light.
"The stars align, the moon's a rosy hue,"
(I just wanted to find my favorite shoe!)

"The Darkside of Aquarius, honey, calls,
Prepare for shopping sprees and velvet falls!
Your spirit, sweetie, is quite entwined,"
(With a perfectly matched handbag I can't find!)

She spoke of eras, crushes, and such strife,
As I just hoped for a drama-free life.
"A spiritual and sparkly, fated art!"
(I'd rather scroll through TikTok, bless my heart!)

I checked my phone, a little sigh,
And caught a twinkle in her eye.
"You'll find your truth; you'll feel the glow!"
"Okay, but can we get some froyo, though?"

The prophecy, a grand design,
Turned out to be just a good time.
The Darkside of Aquarius? Pfft!
Just my bestie suggesting a spontaneous road trip!

I'm your love and you're my soul

I am your love
And you're my soul
They are much adhesive alike
Making our hearts close

I heard our heartbeats
Sounding strong and loud
They are solidifying the toughness
In the boiling crowds

I could be a stream
You are of the flow
Together we're wandering in the fields
Growing love and souls

I could be an angel
Flying in the sky
Having you're around me
I always follow your guide

You're my love
I am your soul
we are together a scene
growing love and soul

Where Did Dilly Dally Go

Just checked in
to read a few of poets
that I follow

And one was missing
Without a trace
had flown like the summers swallow

Where is Dilly Dally ?
Could someone clue me in
For she was more than poet

I regard her as a friend

asthma

I saw American maiden with the choky breath
Panting sideways with the teary face .
I recently listned the siren of ambulance
And family sobs and I went past to her
Unfortunately, the ambulance left

It was a painful tragedy
Which made kins cried
I was anxious and tensed
When friends rosed questions about why
I could be rather be speechless
Eventhough I was questioned by my college mates
Which was unspoken incident which made
me numbed and fearful
it resulted in trauma and flashbacks

This is a painful tragedy
I could nt resist why
When I listened the wailing voices then
It made me cry
I could not forget the girl that
Was in my mind

Shut the door to the purple and bruised
in the dark like an old dog and a bone
refuses the water too and a stew.
cooked to be so deliciously....
but her old bones are given
and stubborn of weakness,
I just need you to drink
and to eat something...

There's another of black of visions
I can hear the ravens and the pigeons,
after the flooring of my subtle empathy
and an old friend loses her grips
as that damn kitchen sink drips
I can't go with them to the Vets
as you are and will be everything.

I protected my little girl
its down, in so much hell,
when it pelts so much hail
and a dummy for sale,
that I refuse with......
a shore with a dead whale
of a protagonist...
and how I feel I failed
with a reality of no twisted,
just random of lists flicked
and I'm alone in Oblivion.
