A distant friend
Hello my friend how have you been
I've been wondering when i shall see you again
Its been quite a while since last we laughed
I've forgotten How many months have passed
Hopefully soon we will again meet
Standing face to face on our own two feet
Instead of just over a call or a letter
Making it difficult to ask what's the matter
I hope your doing well since last we talked
On that cool night which we walked
Where we both left time to the wind
Until we walked separately on that last bend
Im signing off now i am through
And now my dear friend i bid you adieu
