what love could i seek if not yours?

what love could i seek if it’s not yours?
a joyous ode to your name— 
even sorrow would glee to hear.

i’ll leave some words on your doorstep
slowly relenting, slightly scrambling.

like the way they were in my tongue,
your name’s as sweet as the morning dew,
waiting for my lips to utter
each syllables describing all of you

don’t spare me

you, only

eternal- under the scope of your breath.
do you think if the world falls apart, your touch would falter between my heaving?

 all i want, all i need,
is to get lost in your words,
or to get lost even in the semblance of your shadow,
in hopes to feel the twinkle in your eyes

you’re the tinge of orange

A conversation

strangely for you, i am yours.
odd defiance of the greatest, 
my body craving what your hunger lay.
trace my ache with your warmth, 
fiercely dissolve it under your tongue.

wishes upon the stars
on the river where dogs bathe,
wailed in agony within this realm
this realm of your embrace

i do love you, i do unravel
like fixtures of the skylight

The Unbroken Sun Osiris

Glory to her hands that stitched the green,
That sought the pieces of a love torn wide:
For her strong grief, a river spilling light:
For her sharp magic, beautiful and keen,
That found the fragments and refused to hide:
And knit his broken body back from night.

All things lost, scattered, shattered, and undone:
Whatever's broken (who can say why?):
She holds

Never Amount or Equal To

She didn't understand ways in which the world worked or her place within it

On the outside a beautiful girl but beyond her eyes, deeper inside she burned with rage but you'd never know for the image she displayed on her face was timid

Came from where many failed but planned to prevail for she would never

Touch of the Dragon

The dragon’s kitchen, ancient spices full
I choose food, you teaching me.
Without notice, your touch slides down my back.
Delicate, barely a touch — more your fingers verse.
Which says — honey, I’m hungry for your lips.
In the calm of the day on the castle wall
The golden dragon landed
This image is your true

Chasing the wind and butterflies

Chasing the wind and butterflies 
Blowing dandelions and watching them rise.
The feel of soft grass beneath tiny feet
Not yet knowing the feel of defeat.
Growing up 
Mud puddles to jump.
Catching fish in the nearby creek
Playing games of hide and seek.
Growing older
Standing shoulder to shoulder.
Reading books by flashlight
Giggling with friends all night.
The excitement of a boyfriend
Dreaming of

I'm your love and you're my soul

I am your love 
And you're my soul
They are much adhesive alike 
Making our hearts close 

I heard our heartbeats 
Sounding strong and loud 
They are solidifying the toughness 
In the boiling crowds 

I could be a stream 
You  are of the flow
Together we're wandering in the fields 
Growing love and souls

Once A Girl

Once a girl, feeling too much. 
Barely able to cope with her anxiety. 
The unending feeling of disaster haunting her waking moments, setting the mood for the day. 
Unable to stand the constant fright. 
A pill to dull the fear and unending doom. 
But she changed, learning and becoming stronger. 
No longer needing something to

Writer's Block

Why does he need the pain?
Can't seem to write a word without it
When negative thoughts and emotions
Pain and anguish come flooding in
Thats when the words won't stop

But now the pain isn't just buried
Not contained, repressed, or controlled
Its gone as though it never existed
She wiped the slate so clean
Even memories cant bring back the pain

Love and Loyalty

I seek a heart that beats in rhythm with my own,
A hand to hold through seasons yet unknown, trust lives softly in her gentle grace.
Not perfection carved from marble stone,
But someone real, with flaws she’s always owned,
Who speaks her mind with kindness as her guide,
And chooses still to walk here by my side.
In morning light

Sally

I choose to call her Sally,
because she holds a place
no one else can reach.

There’s something about her smile
Yet I can only call it perfect.

And in her eyes,
a spark lives,
the kind that ignites fire,
the kind you can’t look away from.

And somehow,
just being near her
feels like coming home.

Its how i wish

It’s how i wish
distance was never there.
I wish I could pull you closer
and whisper that I care.

Every now and then,
every thought of you
finds me missing you more.

It’s how I wish
I was right there beside you,
able to open my heart
and let you in completely.

Performance

I used to hate dresses,
The feeling of air blowing onto my legs and the need for sandals.
I hated the way my light blonde leg hair would shine so brightly in the sun.
High schoolers were so scary,
Taller than me, bigger than me, more mature.
Now I am that high schooler and I still feel that way about
