DANCING FOOTPRINTS

Many years ago when I was but a child…
as I walked alone in the woods through the snow and the frost
although I was somewhere near my home I got turned around…and realized I was lost.

I didn’t know which way to go…didn’t recognize the view….
and as I stood there wondering where I was…I was unsure what

sludgy footprints

Down in sludgy footprints
ants built their colonies
once mud has hardened
& cracks go further
in the ground like
explorers in lost caves.
There's mystery
under-ground
deepest seas.....
turbulent waves
will prevent
the findings
of ancient
cities,
like the tunnels
under our feet.

One set of footprints

There are times in my grieving journey
that I am reminded of the love of God
as he holds me close and carries me
through this very hard journey

He puts people in my path specifically to
help me, I wholeheartedly believe
He prompts people to check on me,
when I am not ok, so I have a friend to lean on

Be one with the earth  
For she understands all.  
All beings are transient; breathe - 
Whether you walk or crawl.

In whispers of wind, the stories unfold,  
Each step leaves a trace, in soft grains of gold.  
Through shadows of ages, our journeys entwine,  
In the dance of existence, our footprints

Fading Footprints

You left in the rain, 
Heartbeats echo through the storm, 
Memories remain.

the footprints you leave daily within my heart
give me joy like bees when windflowers start to sway
announcing the birth of yet another spring
beguiling and graceful like a peacock in bloom

Sand Promises

As I walk the beach,
I ask what will you teach?

The waves lick my feet, 
with a white foam so sweet.

Sand promises to do and see,
is this the magic key?

I look back to see my footprints,
cool and refreshing as a mouth full of mints.

The sand of tan and water so blue,
your promises were always new.

Little Raccoons

It is the first day of the year, 
And I thought I saw raccoon paw prints 
in my extra bedroom – on the smooth floor
I saw the prints of long animal toes. 

I don’t see raccoons where I live now,  
And of course these prints are inside my house –

Dawn files gather here
Meeting notes and plans unfold
Like spring's first petals

Through corridors decisions
Flow swiftly as mountain streams flow

CSR dreams take shape
Schools transform day after day
Future's seeds now bloom

Virtual bridges span distances
While screens light paths forward now

ICMR tools bloom
Mental frameworks rise like dawn
Knowledge seeds take root

NIMHANS data flows deep now
While wisdom pools grow stronger

Footprints Forever

What blooms in the garden of time?
Love planted deep in morning soil,
Grace flowing like spring rain,
Hope is climbing skyward on emerald vines.

Between heartbeats and whispers,
Peace settles like evening dew,
Kindness spreads its roots unseen,
Creating space for dreams to grow anew.

In the shadows of what's passed,
Each embrace leaves golden traces—
Stories told in gentle touches,
Wisdom carried through darkened

Footprints in the Snow

Footprints in the snow. Where do they go?
The reflection of a path, only that you will know.
On a marshmallow blanket, so soft and so white.
As it falls from the sky in the still of the night.

The impressions we make on this canvas so pure.
Is the mark of a journey, we've had to endure.
As we walk

Footprints

I look back at my footprints,
Which showed my progression.
A better one indeed,
Learning how a life proceeds.
 
Know that yesterday isn't tomorrow.
The past chapter is closed,
A new one might start soon.
Put on a smile and go.
 
True colours comes out
When a problem arises.
A sudden courage appeared to solve
Those one by one, it brought peace.
 
Heart untangled from the ties

orange unsuspecting
then the great fall
running down the road
and they’re gone
yearly distant ghosts

Footprints of Ink

I know how to be a poet,
but will you write poetry with me?

I know the art of expression,
but I'm silent in solitude.

I have ink to bleed,
but no reason to bleed without you.

You are the meter in my internal rhyme,
without you, I'm an unwritten poem.

Let our muses dance with flamboyant flow,
leaving behind footprints of ink.
