You would think I would learn after all of these years,
After all of the times I would end up in tears,
But the voice is so sweet whispering in my ears…
And you’d think I would know, happens time and again
Not a matter of if… always comes down to when
And the way it turns out is how it’s always been…
It’s so crazy to think t’will be different this time.
It won’t happen again. It’ll turn out just fine.
Just don’t give it a thought and ignore every sign…
But I want to believe and I just want to love
And to live out the life we are all dreaming of.
Then it hits like a rock falling from high above…
When I follow my heart it just leads me all wrong
And I get torn apart like in a country song
I can hear my head screaming, “Look out! Can’t you see?!?”
Still, I jump every time my heart says, “Follow me!”
you're a sign of hope
and bend without breaking
strength and resilience
birds gather for comfort
cradled within your branches
seeking swaying grace
"the willow tree"
COME FOLLOW SACRED LOVE
I am
in love
with you,
but I am
following God:
Come follow with me:-
Spring green decorates the hills
Down in the hollow where the creek flows
Wild azaleas and mountain laurel appeal
As spring a masterpiece gently shows
Once I was in my spring of life
Born, grew, developed, lived, love flowed
Years passed into summer being a wife
Then fall came, how my life slowed
Those autumn leaves swiftly fell flowing down
Their beautiful colors slowly turned into gold
Then so many shades and colors of trees' crown
What a story their descent to earth told
Bare skeletal oaks, poplar, sweet gum and dogwood
Each shape decorated the drab countryside
A longing once again for spring to come if it would
But alas the last spring has come, and can no longer abide
our heart just knows because it flows
repaying debts of love it owes
without any computation
exuding fragrance of a rose
poised in the void of cessation
love and light our meditation
each breath we embrace and release
in mood and mode celebration
bliss pheromones follow the breeze
enlivening with carefree ease
breaking through each ego built wall
causing frigid hearts to unfreeze
even in darkness we stand tall
because who we are we recall
beyond space and time at the source
as the flame that births love’s bliss squall
Blue eyed twins went to school
Tried to follow every rule
their mother ran away that day
Even though they were good, she could not stay
The lesson for them lasted forever
You can be kind, smart, excited and clever
But if your mother wants to run away
You cannot make her stay even one more day
Its not for the fact; that i am
Ever right.?
Yet that Christ, is never wrong.)
Salty like slight oceans, the tears start to fall
Gravity pulls them down to the pool of beginning
When the hours slipped way by-why was I upset again?
My boots branched down brick pathways to seek the water
I'll run past home cities, the sun beats me to the south
Crunching leaves make the sounds of crumbling worries
I search far and wide for the venom which is eye secretions
Oh, my dear sunshine friend, have you begun to steal them?
After crusades to crush my curiosity about where they have gone
My tears were slurped like a soft drink by a being called the Sun
Follow me... walk this way.
One and a two and a three.
Off to see the wizard !

Follow My Death
It doesn't exist, don’t, the love here
Never, faraway, passed, stop heart
I am gone, new life, new world, desire
I live there, but empty the bench, hell like
Good to be, and good to live, desert this life
Human life? Demon life? I am a desert city-desire
Death for life changed my life, but it stayed in my heart
Remaining something from the left life, the abandoned life
Oh! Oh!! Demonic desire! / This is, this is the new truth and fact!
Oh! Oh!! New life! – New reality, new opportunity, destruction is behind
I'm following the living death
My death is following me
Goodbye, stay here
Earthly devil desire
Empty my bench
Empty my bench
Are you coming?
Light burned our bench
You stay?
I am far
Hell itself cannot burn any brighter
No faster than stars fuel the sky
I follow them all in search of heaven
But it’s us on Earth feeding that fire
They all fade slowly from existence
Spreading out right under my eyes
Not because they obey a command
In truth, there’s so much space to hide
I watch distance stretching on forever
As human intelligence restricts my mind
Nothing stays in the place it begins
Perceived certainty, or just plain lies
And I’ve many grave misgivings
about rockstars that chose to die
Did they tap into a secret chord
to find it was always background noise
Oh, I curse this whole damn cosmos
for creating such an impenetrable void
It knows nothing of fixed boundaries
Only how to dim despite all our sighs
Alone, feverish, and weak
I sit; dark walls speak.
Everyone around seems not to care.
Memories shadowed by despair.
We walked along a narrow ridge,
Crossing in silence over a nostalgic bridge.
Plunging over the edge, flora appears.
No one hears our fears.
I opened my eyes to a world
And became flesh in a whirl.
Within myself, I divided by strife,
Losing all aspects of life.
There is still light to help balance
A path through life’s challenges.
A world transient nature of scars
Turned to an endless garden of stars.
Significance can't be measured by what we can
see or hear
Or what never reaches our eyes and ears
to contemplate
Nor that of a universe that decides
our fate...
What of we, who bathe in our own praise
and condemnation ?
Waiting for another failed experiment to be erased
by extinction!
Does the ruling "civilization" decide what
is civil?
Or, does god choose when a "terrible lizard" is choked
into silence
By tossing a celestial rock into a
once tranquil sea
Wiping the slate clean once more
and still~
The sun burns through, emotionless,
and shrugs,
Its energy will warm another seed,
a new cell.
I follow faded stars ~ or is it they
who follow me...
Stars like jeans
are made to fade
their blues bleed out
in the wash-up,
in the burn-out,
in their legacies of
spin cycle routines.
But the twinkling glitter
in their burnout flares,
falls like rain
from shooting stars
in shimmering showers,
that cling on tight,
like the curse
of forever chemicals.
No one can ever scrub them clean
from party clothes
washed all alone,
by themeselves,
rinsed and spun,
rinsed and spun,
in washing machine
cycle routines.
So these spun-out,
hang out, party clothes,
are stored shrouded in plastic
to stop the glitter's spread
in the wardrobe,
in the armoire's bottom draws,
to dim the legend’s
endearing stain of
faded fame.
Stars like jeans
are made to fade
the blues bleed out
in the wash-up
in the burn-out,
in their legacies of
spin cycle routines.
Sometimes I follow faded stars
Like empty houses
Deserted bars
Sometimes I seek out tired skies
And follow them
With tired eyes
Sometimes I fall i to the mists
And they embrace me
Coldest kiss
There is no end im guided on
Through dark lost places
I come upon
And there is comfort in this grey
I've become a ghost
And here I'll stay
