Follow Teardrop Trails
Salty like slight oceans, the tears start to fall
Gravity pulls them down to the pool of beginning
When the hours slipped way by-why was I upset again?
My boots branched down brick pathways to seek the water
I'll run past home cities, the sun beats me to the south
Crunching leaves make the sounds of crumbling worries
I search far and wide for the venom which is eye secretions
Oh, my dear sunshine friend, have you begun to steal them?
After crusades to crush my curiosity about where they have gone
My tears were slurped like a soft drink by a being called the Sun
