Hens were in the spa for the third time that day
Farmer Jones was angry, for they now had a weird lay
Their eggs were hard-boiled, nothing ready to fry up.
We’ll have to throw away that spa he said to his pup.
If you throw away our spa, we will quit laying they said.
The hens loved sitting in the hot water until their bottoms were red.
Could you give us regular eggs once in a while? Asked Farmer Jones.
Rebel hens laughed, spit chicken feed at him and recited mean poems.
Mr. Biden gave a feisty speech
without once extending his reach
across the bipartisan aisle

His feisty manner,top notch brain
How I wish it was not the truth
Will always in our thoughts remain
The lord of good!
I know you tried
To cling to life; your selfless actions
among family gone before, the clouds are moving
But I pay respect not in grief
A feeling of ambivalence
But moment of clarity hits me,
Never will I see him again
Finality,finality dawns,it's a little too quiet now
Take your place in glory, you will be reminisced.
Scrabbled words
in my face,
I don't know how
to phrase.
I run outside
to ask for hint,
from the chickens
in a tent.
They don't answer
nor bother,
but I'm sure they
never falter,
because they
know how to fight
though they are
not might.
I go inside
and start the write,
the feisty word of life:
"fight"
that's the start
of my thrill track
of this crazy world
where I stuck.
I am a Gemini, born in May.
Some are June babies, but May to me is the real Gemini month.
May is May baskets, May Day, May pole, and my birthday month.
Some people have a birthday. I have a birth month – May.
We always get out of school in May, except that one year.
My sister and I always have a rainbow on our birthday, the last day.
The flowers are out in full force – daffodils, lilacs, rose of Sharon, violets.
Bunnies are hopping, squirrels are hanging upside down; it is spring!
Spring on her way to summer; this is May.
The grass is so green it makes you want to cry. This is May.
The sky so blue, it brings angels into your heart. This is May.
She is beautiful, clever, and coy, May.
She is tricky and mercurial, May.
She is feisty and fun – full of proms, parties, and graduations. May.
Wonderful, spectacular, marvelous, terrific lovely May!
My favorite month every year actually.

My favorite hummingbirds appear in early Spring
With fast fluttery wings and soft chirps, they sing
And rich emerald and ruby feathers so bright
Seeing them makes my heart skip with delight
Powerful tiny creatures seen in a flash
Flying in patterns of zigzags and a dash
Zipping and zooming around feeders like fools
Feeding as their feathers sparkle like jewels
Two frolicking males seen fighting in flight
Mating rituals on display for females in sight
Another feisty one has joined their playful dance
As a lone female picks her mate today by chance
Here for a few moments then quickly gone
The nectar will bring more, it won’t be long
A quick blink and out of the corner of my eye
I just saw a flash of vibrant green go flying by

Feisty breezes blow through the trees
shaking and tussling twigs and leaves.
Often, gusts begin as a breeze
feisty breezes rustle the trees.
Grounding the butterflies and bees
breezes come and go as they please.
Feisty breezes blow through the trees
shaking and tussling twigs and leaves.
Breezes come and go as they please,
mayhem following in their wake.
Plants left in a state of unease
breezes come and go as they please.
Flexible trees bend to their knees
all day and night without a break.
Breezes come and go as they please,
mayhem following in their wake.
All-day and night without a break,
blowing breezes lead the attack.
And though trees are hardy, they shake
all day and night without a break.
Creaking as though in constant ache,
they're unable to spring back.
All-day and night without a break,
blowing breezes lead the attack.

Like a freight train
She barrels in
And slams upon the shore
Bringing all her treasured gifts
Up from the ocean floor
Randomly choosing
she makes a deposit
As if purging her depths
Or cleaning her closet
Then passively leaves
The feisty debater
Will reclaim her trove
When she returns later
Jazzy jest jokes
Pretty pest pokes
Leaping love lines
Feisty frames fine
Deep dreary dream
Sultry signs stream
Bright blessings bring
Such sanguine strings
Wise willing ways
Prompt pretty play
Wonder words well
Timely tale tells

The grief that you brought to me
Is unparalleled to a burning malady
Each miniscule reckoned; nimble spur
Comrades' perturbed; peeled exterior
A visceral feline that's so endeared
Suddenly spent and disappeared
Lingering with bated breath
And keeping the faith
To have you back
...come down the pike

Fondle fine flame
Nurture nice name
Speak sultry sway
Wise words work way
Feel fragrance free
Sanguine sight sees
Dream dizzy dance
Cheer crazy chance
Feisty form floats
Guilty gaze gloats
Niche naughty nice
Seize sizzling spice
Big blossoms blind
Know keepsakes kind
Watch wonder walk
Subtle sounds stalk
Think touching thoughts
Ply poignant plot
Chase curvy craze
Dance distant daze
Mind motions mull
Cream crafty cull
Looks lifting loft
Stillness sounds soft
Soul slumber sweeps
Daze dazzles deep
Dance deep delight
Sense sublime sights
