Facts of Life

In words I find serenity,
simple or just too plain.
And in life I seek wisdom,
in words of the insane.
My lips reject profanity,
coerced or merely in pain.
No point in being vulgar,
politeness I should attain.
No one is near perfect,
benevolent or humane.
When humble and not too pompous,
respect I am to gain.

No word shall outlive wisdom,
in hearts or in the brain.
My words can be bitter,
when failing to refrain.
If needed I am present,
of duty I can’t complain.
What good is solid friendship?
if friendship we can’t sustain.
Good deeds will get you credit,
successful or in vain.
If I am to be a martyr,
in battle I should be slain.

The hardest part's not growing up,
It's growing old.
The toughest part's not facing life,
It's facing facts.
Life's path is not the same for all,
If truth be told,
Some lives are lived in words
And some in acts.

Life's a play and we the players,
The world's our stage
And parts are purely improvised.
No lines to learn,
The plot unfolds as we proceed
From page to page
Making entrances and exits
Each in its turn.

How long the show we're in will run,
No one can say.
We perform and execute our parts
As best we can.
And when we reach the final scene
That ends the play,
The final fact we'll face will be
How well it ran.

Sticks and stones will break your bones
But hard liquor will kill you quicker

A penny saved is a penny earned
A dollar lent is a dollar burned

Free advice doesn't cost a cent
But it won't help you pay the rent

To gain success trust your ambition
Don't ever trust a politician

Live your life by the golden rule
Don't waste your life by being cruel

Take deep breaths when feeling nervous
Thank a veteran for their service

Live for today forget the past
Fair weathered friendships never last

Don't let hate invade your heart
It's hard to quit once you start

Facts of Life

Life is all about living, never always it's about money.
May be for a few it's about money, but not for every one
Some times life is all about power, for some people it's all about position.
For many people in the society life is all about living, getting their bread and butter.
No body can define life because it's an individual style of living, his, her goals, idealogy, ambitions never same for everyone who live in the society.
Life is all about living because we are all living organisms, part of nature who have come on to this planet to live for few days.
Life is all about living
It's never about chasing currency
It's never about power, position
It's all about living.
Hope all the human being on planet earth live their life, love their life.
For few it's all about money
For many it's all about bread and butter
For some it's all about their position, power, protection.
For a few it's all about looking, following others
It's never the same for everyone

But for all as we are living organisms it's all about living.

She eats to live
  He lives to eat
She'd rather give
  He likes to receive

Some men just cry
  Their wives say they're closed
But when their time comes to die
  They stay calm and composed

One thing for sure
  Never lie to your wife
'Cos if she even suspects
  Wave goodbye to your life

Facts of Life

The dayz beat back & fourth with the good & the bad rocking a lullaby to our daily agendas. Serenading the arrival of our deaths & the funeral that's sure to come for all. I laugh yesterday, cried last night, played today, bracing for the joys & pains of tomorrow. The good out weigh the bad. The bad don't out weigh the good. The bond with truth is utilizing it. Putting desire to practice; clarity follows. The shadows of humanity pains don't last forever. Don't kill the joy of the times we fun and are enjoying true happiness. Sounds of the arrival of a new day stir the senses. Dark blue skies turn into light blue skies. Oppurtunity for new experiences are urshered in with the morning dew. The dayz continue of our triumhps, faults, & the slums of our falls; The treasures, waiste, and disasters of good, bad, tragic times. Inspiring determination to pursue our personal desires. It's a beautiful thing to view the timeline and smile as our wiser selves.
After the fact....

                                              Enjoy!!!!

When you marry a sweet gal
   you also marry
   her bossy sister
    and her frantic mother

You think - ha, ha!
   you'll live with your wife
   not with them --

Surprise!
   From these two relatives
   your problems will largely stem

The wide-,eyed gaze of childhood
innocence,lost by adolescence
optimism destroyed,by realities of life;
experience lined in majority's grin
likeness reborn in program's kin.

The Cold Facts of Life

She thought of herself as an impeccable woman
So often mistaken for a Goddess between peasant
Until the man of her dreams stole her virtue
In the cold water on Lake George he weighs her down
Too often shadows block our visions
When infatuation is mistaken for love;
Impeccable and careless! With her life
She became the cold facts about love

Facts of Life

If the facts of life
                                       can stick like glue,
                                      Then your life of facts
                                      can be harmful to you.

The Facts of Life From a 35 Year Old

I started off slowly scared to death,
Each new day a disaster,
Then I began to run,
Slowly at first,
Then faster and faster,
And soon found that everybody I had ever met was also running.

Creations Facts of Life

The earth in living glory hears each man’s pine.
Mortal life upon his ground fears unfaithful woes.
Each mundane task upon the dirt molds soul’s refine.
Then, he turns from man to dust, seeking heaven’s glow.

Meanwhile, wind winds its way across the land and seas.
Wreaking havoc, bringing breezes, fanning wildlife.
Pruning trees, washing leaves, working God’s mysteries –
Fluffy clouds float; imaginations stifle strife.

Lightening struck and fires raged; then, came the fleeing.
Harnessed electricity brought nighttime its current look.
When man took untamed energy, harnessed, and cooked.
Look what came from what seemed, with wisdom, seeing.

Rivers rise, waters gush and carve torrential snares.
But calmness greets pleasant streams, ending the strife.
Wetness washes all: dusty leaves and silken hairs.
Quenches thirsts and plumps each cell; supporting each life.

Earth, wind, fire, and water began at creation,
Facts known by God above show His mighty action.

Facts of Life

all eyes on me cant they see its a darn right catastrophy when we decide to take a ride

along the countryside guns in our hands no where to go except discover new land

i live for the moment too young to own it but time is my enemy so i ride like im in it

a few remain true to the game some decide to sell out my name

we did our dirt and played our cards making it so easy it was getting hard

we conspire with who we want to know straight poker faces is what we show

you look me in the eyes and tell me lies i smile in your face and cut you down to size

i have my own set of rules and laws i live by if you dont like it go ahead and ride

i keep my enemies close even thats too far for my friends id reach the highest star

people claim their real but turn their backs and squeal

do you know what it means to survive that means you cant watch "AMERICAN IDOL" live

i ran the streets ans saw so much it killed me slowely but became my crutch

this life that im now living was borrowed and given by the only person i trust

                                                    GOD

so im here today to share my story no one but HIM is my judge and jury

Facts of Life

Life is an adventure
The more you live the more you understand.
Life is a teacher
The more we live the more we learn.
Life is a rolling ball.
Life is more expensive than man himself.
Life is like an everyday tax.
Life is important,life is wonderful.
Life is an interesting ,
But dangerous game.
Life is ev'rything needed for man.
Life is the most expensive gift given to us
By God.
It shouldn't be defiled
All in the name of materialism.
Lets join hands and make this world
A better place,
By living life to the fullest.
