Abstract art chiseled in cement,
it’s an overlooked time capsule.
You can see the old gathered pool,
a sunny day with wet pavement.

An afternoon filled with time spent
created with that ancient tool.
Abstract art chiseled in cement,
it’s an overlooked time capsule.

Take in the words the poet sent.
To walk upon it? You’re a fool.
Each stroke a facet of the jewel,
you can feel the poet’s lament.
Abstract art chiseled in cement.

Premium Member THE IMPORTANCE OF ANTICIPATION

May we all be blessed to understand
how important anticipation is to every facet of our life
from our friends to our family…

How anticipation of a moment
not only makes the joy of that moment last a little longer
But enhances its memory.

Identity and the Mirror of Consciousness

Before the emergence

of consciousness
we were

a reflection of God

Afterward
  unable to perceive identity
    through internal reflection

God became a reflection

of US

Consciousness
  splitting the mirror

        2 hemispheres
            Asking

WHO ARE YOU

But
  No mirror
    Can
      Reflect
         Itself

so in that fracture

Identity
    Becomes
          Alien

External
Something

OTHER

yet even in our exile our human

identity
  remains
    a single facet
       of earth

a lens
  through which
     the planet
        becomes

            Aware Of
                Itself

Thru
    Language
       Breath
         Form

and in the question

that
  echoes
     from her
        still

              WHO ARE YOU

Each Star Has a Pattern of its Own

Each star is a jewel set in its place
by the Creator of the universe.
His hand carefully cut each facet
to give each star its own identity.

Each star has its own color
red, blue, white, yellow.
Some have no color at all
only exist as brown dwarfs.

From birth to death, each star
has its own life cycle.
Some ending as black holes, white dwarf
or rapidly spinning neutron stars.

Each star as an individual, but
part of a whole.
Like a string of pearls
set on a gold chain.

We humans are like these
stars, created as individuals
by Gods wonderful hand.

Premium Member The River of Life - POTD

As every drop hath magic of its own,
And yet within a river finds its whole,
So are our lives of merit all alone,
And yet a facet in a greater soul.
Or as a shard of light that shines in spring,
Within the fabric of the dazzling day;
We are like notes with which a choir can sing,
But having sung, like notes, we fade away.
Strange thing our moment’s glory is not long,
Is but a passing glance within the all;
So great the wealth of beauty flowing strong,
It little cares that you and I shall fall.
As when at last the final ember’s gone,
A bird is lost, and yet the flock flies on.

Mystery Mind

Key unlock wealth
If you desire
Pursue to find.

Mind can be tame
If you agree
To discipline.

Man deeply think
That there's a key
To meet ends meet.

Gems of thought shines
Every facet
There is in life.

Painted Memories etched deep within the the mind a sweet adieu of yesteryear falls endless through time
Over and over each colored facet floats onward down a stream gathering all the strands of life to become what is now today
I gather each lesson of days gone by and set out to achieve... a gift of knowledge where wisdom is born to make it through each day
Where love and faith twine endless hope emerging in holy light where gratitude and honor open a once blinded eye
Come now my Lord oh precious one and hold me through the night lift my spirit as the new day dawns emerse me in holy light....

Premium Member Winter

Winter's warmth of white glistening promise and windswept dreams

Plays her glorious song through the forest of echoing tree's

Tumbling in her beauty upon each facet of light profound

She shimmers in an orchestrated display of heavenly sounds

In her passive seduction draped in her silver diamond gown

She calls to the setting sun and gently lies down...

A season waves goodbye Another day Another time Another....

A Mirror's Gaze

When we judge another, a mirror's gaze we meet
Reflecting our own flaws, our own unhealed defeat
A facet of ourselves, we reveal with each critique
A shadow within, that needs love's gentle technique

Our judgments, a beacon, shining bright and bold
Illuminating our own wounds, yet untold
A call to self-reflection, to confront and to face
The parts of ourselves, we've yet to embrace

In the eyes of another, our own flaws we see
A reflection of our own humanity
So let us soften our gaze, and look with kind eyes
For in judgment's mirror, our own healing lies.

My Views With Men

This New Year
Wish half of the world
Always be successful in life
May all of us men stay
Strong and responsible in the eyes
Of the rest of the world
We are the hope of X chromosomes
The forever partner of Y chromosomes
In our shoulders lies the powers of this world
Think of it, men is diminishing in numbers
We are outnumbered in every facet in life
Sprung up and show your wise innovation
The world is lacking World Leaders
Men, fill up the challenge to lead
Women, need us the whole time
When will life become a balance
Men are getting degradation in power
Women are taking positions in echelon
Of business, fashion, leadership, executives
Topping in population, in sports, and innovation
Wake up my fellow men, be brave in all ways
The world is going Y dominance
There are resistance, rebellion and conspiracy
Among men, more died in battle and addiction
Wake up men from deep stupor and slumber
Many men perish everyday of life's operation
How would this world be like without men
Science and Scientist help men genes generate
For life and mankind proliferation and regeneration.

A New York Moment

One midnight moment
will hover over a grain of sand,
a quartz, a glass facet,
a sphere spun
by a self-winding collective consciousness.
Everything will change - nothing will.
Mice will not transform back to white horses,
tsunamis will always be
just one wave away from possible.
Crowds will gather, cheers will disperse.
One lone firework will fall to earth
to fizzle on as bright as it can
for a while.

Premium Member unblemished

So, a rich surfer kid with multiple degrees
whacks a rich CEO of a health insurance company
and suddenly he's the robin hood of the A.I generation
feeding the blood of the rich and greedy
to the uninsured and needy.(top that Greta Thunberg)
Folks this is simply another facet of
the redistribution of wealth
Part of the great reset that they had promised us.
Where the middle class pays the premiums of the poor
getting hammered once again.
While the elites and forever politicians
watch the widening division
from atop the insider trading hill
a thickening layer of sedimentation
Far above the unfruited flood plain
unblemished.

Raindrops

Simple thoughts
drip
drop
into the vast ocean of my heart,
defining who you are to me—
the reasons I should keep you
happily by my side, always.

One quality at a time,
another facet of love,
dripping
into the pool
of my heartfelt feelings for you.

It condenses in my mind
becoming part of the busy cloud,
stirring continuously with
exciting memories,
affirming experiences.
I try to hold it together with my mind,
but inevitably it
drips,
drops,
into my heart and
adds to the vast ocean—
the purest collection of my emotions.

Then there are those moments
pouring in showers
hour by hour,
an overwhelming flood reminding me
why you're the one to whom I cling.
I want to give you everything.

So please,
let your love keep raining
into my heart as you always do.

In turn,
I'll reserve my heart for you.

Premium Member A Pondering Poet

A pondering poet
A dreamer at ease
Looking through facets of life
Searching each inkling

Wandering on

Sketching and painting
A doorway beyond
A loving innuendo
Twinning
A simple song

I walk the road of antiquities
Looking back and looking on
Roaming the streets of possibilities
To twine a simple song

A pondering poet
A dreamer at ease
Looking through facet of life
Searching each inkling

Wandering on

Divine
Majestic
Refined
And
Simplistic
