Excerpts from Life

My mind had often wondered of a world beyond our hold,
where every soul reveals its secrets and all the truth untold.

With age our youth will fade,
and with hope our lives ignite.
In a withered cage the soul remains,
till the day that brings delight.

Promises made are hard to keep,
but in honour I find my pride.
A rocky ridge is surely steep,
but with courage I must abide.

With a sudden splash there came a flash,
of memories that did not apply.
With every mood,
shy or rude,
they stormed my inward eye.

An honest word
if you uphold,
the truth it will unbind,
but sassy dreams will only sink
in pools of dopey minds.

Hatred and greed
will bring with speed
disaster to your life,
but with love and care,
you’ll plant a seed in the heart of a loving wife.

In moments of death with a heavy breath release my final sigh,
my kin may cry or even weep,
but death to all applies.

Into the grave I shall descend when words are said and done,
no saddened eye will shed a tear,
when years have passed and gone.

Excerpts From Conversations Overheard

Deep down I think you know -
This is where I draw the line -
So I won’t be long I promise -
But feel free to chop or change -
Something, anything about this -
But are you sure you’re ready?

Premium MemberExcerpts From the Compilation Prayer, Number 12, Trust

Excerpts from the compilation: “Prayer”
number 12. Trust

I wish for us, the practice of Trust,
Especially in the moments
when we only experience
Things that seem to be harsh, cruel, unfair and unjust,.
And when we don’t understand
And say:
“Why now? Why me? Why us?”
Especially when the smell of decay, disease and death
Seems to be almost all that there is.
And the melodies of fear and sorrow
Are the only music that we can hear -
right now.
And the moments when the night is so dark
and smoke so dense and thick
That we hear, see and feel nothing
and appear to have lost our way,
So that all that we can do is bravely wait
and make space,
So that what needs to emerge
CAN be born.
Especially…
When this is the first time
and we don’t know what to do
and are shaking in our skins.

Excerpts from the compilation: “Prayer”
Number 10 - Own Truth

I wish that each of us can find, practice and live
their Own Truth
And that by doing so,
Are able to sense and know
What feels individually and personally, right
And what is simply not ok, unjust and wrong.
And that by doing so,
Make space and have complete respect
For the beautifully mysterious differences
And truths of others.

Premium MemberExcerpts From Prayer, For My Friends, Number, 4 Shame

I wish that we can completely understand
That the idea, belief and emotion of “shame”,
Does not belong in any being or any society.
And even the smallest traces and its poisonous effects
could simply vanish forever -
Out of our bodies, nervous systems, our hearts and heads.
Shame has also no place
In any religion!
And any God or self-righteous, holy leader
That uses shame in any way
Have sadly
probably never experienced
Or utterly forgotten,
How it feels
To be a cherished Son or Daughter,
Because no loving Father or Mother
Could consciously give such a toxic gift.
History will show
That the majority of the monstrous tyrants, dictators and leaders
Were deeply shamed as children.
And if we want complete healing
For ourselves and our Earth
This “shameful” and violent word
Should instantly and magically disappear
From our religious books, schools,
films and media, dictionaries and vocabularies.

A Study By Excerpts

She(she in her looking) looks in romantic light at jewels under gemstones in silver bone-plates and such and such and now she turns to midnight city in roaring by cars outside windows and the claims and conjectures of these one-day nuclear think tank professors prof yes and prof no, and so and so. The state might be, they say, it may, but the individual, the belief in Christ, the salvation of the one, they say, it may be nihilo ex nihilo ex.

Poised in the most feline and learned manner does her silken engine turn to looking, looking and looking and something within this nothing-all, is being as looking at her in. To midnight is owed a sincere apology. I have blasphemed against my ignorance, says such and such, as swords are incised into the most loving of flesh by profs yes and no, who scream out in perfect unison, 'I have turned in on my looking, and here we are looking-forever towards the love of love!'. So be so, aliquid ex nihilo, et non placet.

Excerpts From My Diary

I have an active imagination. I am born to build walls, to break the chains, to free the slaves, to free myself.

I am making a difference, I am changing the course of time, I am allowing people to be who they want to be, fear nothing, and live life on their own terms.

Yesterday only, I fought with a dragon, reclaimed my territory, freed the people who needed freeing, and was the hero, the villain the conqueror, the survivor.

I have an active imagination and can be anyone, can do anything, achieve anything, and pass any hurdle.

I can live as long as I want to, I can eat as much as I want, I am the scholar, the Nobel laureate, the president, the Prime Minister, I am the person in power and the person living a life in the Himalayas but most importantly I am me with all the inhibitions and I am happy.

But all this is the product of my active imagination and I cherish each part of it.

Excerpts From a Journey In Covid

EXCERPTS FROM A JOURNEY IN COVID-19
This must have been one place
Where global Covid-19 stopped
A camp, perhaps.
All morning, all night
Hearing thrssh thrssh
Sounds of shaking baskets
Ears to earth under dreams
Rotating nebulae
And a rain clouds
Over the valley of perfect wisdom
More a highway
Over a ground with seed and hands.
Old women, young girls
Babies crying and a few men
Living with pure air
On the same line riding into mountais.
Their sleeps being like a Wheel
Up the Hill, down the scarp
And the unintelligible pandemic
Inside the ground.
They got up.
Yearning for Eyes
And a Heart in center
As a flame without smoke
Flashiging the light with desire
Through a bush over the stream.
Expecting to see what?
We all laughing at first, too.

Premium MemberKnow Thyself--Excerpts--Ralph Waldo Emerson

IV

Give up to thy soul-----
Let it have its way-----
It is, I tell thee, God himself,
The selfsame One that rules the Whole,
Tho’ he speaks thro’ thee with a stifled voice,
And looks through thee, shorn of his beams.
But if thou listen to his voice,
If thou obey the royal thought,
It will grow clearer to thine ear,
More glorious to thine eye.
The clouds will burst that veil him now
And thou shalt see the Lord.

VI

This is the reason why thou dost recognize
Things now first revealed,
Because in thee resides
The Spirit that lives in all;
And thou canst learn the laws of nature
Because its author is latent in thy breast.

Infinite Excerpts

He was different and dangerous. I knew this habit I had was seeking the unknown, the completely unsafe. I wanted to dig deep in the dark, but I guess that's what hooked me to the very glimpse of him, and it drove me crazy. He just drives me crazy.

Those eyes he has just attracts my soul with there warmth an once I got lost in them, there was no way out. They began turnin' so cold, almost like they were keepin' secrets from me, but those eyes just kept pullin' me in.

Harder and harder, just makin' me want more. It just happened without words being muttered by his lips. He became a challenge. He was a silent demand just daring me to come near. He was tempting me with his vapor like love and it drove me insanely mad.

My sanity was forgotten, I forgot how to breathe since he came around, but I'll never forget the night his eyes grew darker, the way he said my name, and how he smiled with his mesmerizing laugh. His heart a melody.

I knew he was bad for me. In fact, he became the death of me, but dying a hero just wasn't in the cards I was dealt. It would happen if I died loving him.

Excerpts From a Teenage Diary

Wind billowing through a rolling cornfield
Far from the city lights
Formations of silver grey clouds
Billowing through a dark sky
Competing against each other

Rows of tall trees standing to attention
Silhouetted against a low horizon
As wisps of smoke drifts up from a
Bleak ancient farmhouse in the foreground
Surrounded by dilapidated fencing

Daylight now failing as evening’s shadow
Begin to casts its silky smooth cape
Tentatively over a tranquil landscape
We sit in the car at the side of the road

And kiss

“Driving by your house”
So you are checking out my house
“I wonder if it was a dream”
Yes it was
“All I need is a little loving tonight”
Is that all you need? Lol
“Give me one reason to stay here”
Just one?
“Be careful of what you do”
Aren’t you?
“Remember you always think twice”
Lol, are you sure you can do that?
“If I fall for you, I will never recover”
Haha you can bet on that
“You take all of it wrong baby”
Oh yeah? How close am I?
“Sorry I don’t understand where all of this coming from”
You’ve been sleeping?
“Then I see you baby, everything is alright”
That’s better, lol
Are you sure you can handle it now?
Ohh I just love these songs
They are just too funny
“Have I told you lately that I love you?”
No but it’s not going to help
If you are in trouble
You are in trouble buddy
Anyway, I’ll leave for now
I will continue to poke fun at these
As it gives me pleasure to do so
“With or without you
I can’t live with or without you”
Make up your mind
I got to go
Okay here I go, lol
