Excerpts From Conversations Overheard
Deep down I think you know -
This is where I draw the line -
So I won’t be long I promise -
But feel free to chop or change -
Something, anything about this -
But are you sure you’re ready?...

MODULATION
an
echo
of awareness
preserved
&
surrounded

conscious
imagination
in

of
inspiration
with
a sense
of
endless charm
&
bravura

meditatively

Bureaucracy of Heaven
David J Walker

Lightfall dreams spill
Illuminating waters on
Everything except
Excerpts of canvas lakes
	For which it is meant

While bipartisan saints
spill lyrics on
Every letter mailed
from every failed attempt

of Redactions
From the prayers
of the faithful
		prayer sayers
For which
each candle is lit

God
	Cannot do His job
Without the bureaucracy of heaven...

Excerpts from the compilation: “Prayer”
Number 10 - Own Truth

I wish that each of us can find, practice and live
their Own Truth
And that by doing so,
Are able to sense and know
What feels individually and personally, right
And what is simply not ok, unjust and wrong.
And that by doing so,
Make space and have complete respect
For the beautifully mysterious differences
And truths of others.

The Burt Reynolds
Time’s never obliged ~
Heedless, impetuous fame
Exacerbates traits…
But factitious facades fade
UV-rays on gelcoats, craze…

Retouch, unfinished ~
Tide oblivious, streams on
Rising and ebbing…
Eyes old smile recognition
Young ones urge explanation…

Names so soon obscure ~
Ocean sinking impetus
Leaves afloat, excerpts…
Darn! That cannonball race zipped!
Speedy generations flash…

Shining Mirage
I walked step by step
going to pick a flower
I steps on garden floor
to spend inevitable time
with you.

I followed a path
to track the way
a twinkling light
becomes what we are today
a piece of the story
excerpts from a shining mirage.

When time runs so fast
it doesn’t ends everywhere
I am with you to celebrate
with an expected moment
who will stays with our side
is nothing unexpected.

Today is your day
I wish you happy birthday!

We are a group of seniors above 80 years of age. Recently, many of us departed because of old age problems. Here are some of the excerpts from Bhqagwat Gita, Lord Krishna's sermon on mortality.

"The soul is neither born nor does it die;
Having come into being once, it never ceases to be,
It is unborn, eternal, permanent and primeval".

"As a man discarding worn-out clothes takes other new ones;
likewise the embodied soul, Casting off worn-out bodies,
enters into others, Which are new"....
