Euphonious Poems | Examples

Sinatra

Leaning towards the pride of Hoboken,
I learned to listen with both ears —
And my wandering soul—
Whose cellar harbours old kegs of sweet
Songs that warm the spirits and embolden one
With just one hum of that pleasantly unique voice,
So frank and euphonious
That I crave love.

April

Snowdrop all over the top
Runs to a quick flop

Daffodil thrown up
In a hasty set up

Lily’s eyes bloom on
petals grace a gentle beacon

Orchid bided her time
It holds an euphonious rhyme

Blossoming flourishing
blooming flowering

Dying falling
Decaying fouling

All then the graden bare
No red roses perfumed the air.

The Music of Love

For Constance’s: Write Ten Beautiful Lines
10.04.2025

The music of love

Your voice a silken stream of violins
a sea of sound swishing on my calm shore
An overture of blissful laughs and grins
As playful tempos strum your tuneful score

I hear the urge of alto saxophone
A rhythm of blues jazzing in your blood
I feel the pulse of cornets in your tone
Euphonious waves sate a joyful flood

And when the roar of drums directs the beat
It somehow, sounds delightful and still sweet

Breath of light, casting shadows over the night
Soothing stars and moon in her gentle embrace
Hurling nervous sea against beaches so white

Gentling the surf with a calm time can’t erase
Cobalt sprays fall against the sandcastle reefs
Stirring wells of euphonious tones of grace

Mists of joy, glazing the trembling cloverleafs
Sunlight glow murmuring peace to the coastline
Sand dollar stories emitting soul beliefs

Playing through my heart, songs no man can define
Bruised thoughts fill my mind, singing praises to Him,
Who guides my spirit, causing my light to shine

Across the beach, into the sea, hearts will swim
Compelled by laughter, joy seeks the light so still
Jesus wants more than just living on a whim

He loves His children and means their hearts to fill
He amazes, nothing can be more real
Love deeper than the sun who eases dawn’s chill

Dew drenched mists flow across quiet seas to heal
These are the days God gave to ease our spirit
He is the light to whom I’ll forever kneel

Walk in the light, there’s no reason to fear it
His tears are falling on the wind, just hear it

Euphonious Summer Evening

walking back home, i take my time
to feel that summer evening
the birds returning to their nests,
the sun is glowing red
and the night is one step ahead
the sun's beautiful reflection in the pond
and the cold breeze that hit me and down to my soul
I stand there in peace and hear the voices of crickets
the serenity I feel in the euphonious tracks of nature
walking back of home, i take my time
to feel that summer evening

Premium MemberPeriwinkle Confessions

I remember Cupid’s scent when December stars sailed,
above vast seas of scars rippling with past mistakes,
awaiting the euphonious moon to croon and tune melodies veiled.

But will the skies in blues be the muse, casting dews of jasmine bright?
For when shadows rise, darkness looms and blooms in lotus-filled lakes,
erasing the old memories of ink, imbued with rose gold light.

Maybe the waning essence of sage flavors savors the colors of amorous art,
where twilight twirls and swirls to silent confessions that time breaks,
oblivious to the periwinkle rhyme placed from your soul to my lilac-laced heart.

Premium MemberTo my beloved Sun

O beloved Sun, that gently warms my soul,
with soft strings of saffron and golden shine,
I write this poem with symphonic stardust,
when euphonious memories soar above
clusters of sapphire butterflies,
when rainbows reflect a glow of nostalgia.
Allow the inked verses within
these maternal veins~
remind you to close your sleepless eyes,
and listen to your evergreen heart.
Fear not the unknown that veils your vibrancy;
there’s a song that lingers amidst tuneless skies,
with every note inscribed with your dulcet name,
for I pray for you in sanguine silence…

You will always be the lyrical light
guiding me to the reveries of redolent lilies.
You are the poetic reason,
I breathe phrases of hope,
when the orchid moon melts into orchards of nothingness…

   Love always and evermore,
        mother….

The Birds

Reclined under the shade of a snag tree,
A babbler piqued my curiosity.
Staggered by the companionship, initially.
Then pleased.

I discerned a lamenting warble...
The massif offered commiserations to him,
With an echo.
A lorikeet adjoined him, ensuingly
And, she twittered a novel...
Which was beyond my comprehension.

Nefarious humans are certainly not shaped,
To perceive this heavenly beauty.

His agonised warble was altered;
Now sings a euphonious trill.
Fare-thee-well, they exclaimed to the departing sun.
Much obliged, sings the song of love.

Premium MemberThe Lilt of Lilac Melodies

Wan is the hiemal world outdoors,
The biting breeze blows bitter,
like a blizzard building in momentum,
Cold creeps in through the closed windows,
But his harmonic heart is happy and warm,
touched by tantalizing tingles of tender tunes.

~ silent violins play violet symphonies ~

The mystery of mauve melodies mesmerise his mind,
as he is lost within his mellifluous macrocosm;
Intoxicated with invigorating inspirations,
he experiences euphonious euphoria,
Forgetting the frost and frozen fingertips,
he hums sweet sonatas in the making.

~ soothing arias arouse amethyst emotions ~

A string of soft heliotrope strains
brush away the brumal brutality,
And even as the notes swell, they quell the chill,
The warbling waves wind up in a waltz,
resonating sizzling rhythms all around the room;
Content with cantatas serenading magenta Maestoso.

~ lilac lyrics light up lavender legacies ~

Premium MemberSitka Sunset

Sitka’s vibrant euphonious voice,
as alluring as the violin tune,
the musical trail to beauty symphony
of the country north to the future.
Nature there blooms like a flower,
the sunset splendor sequestered.

The twilight rays of golden thread,
the auric frill between trees,
emerald tapestry weaved in Totem Park.
The gilded splash of the ripple rows
on the jade frame of Beaver lake,
the sapphire sky’s mirror in glacial vale.

Mount Edgecumbe, the dormant volcano,
the standing sentinel in lavish landscape
with crimson crown on snow-clad cone.
The northern lights of surreal Sitka dusk,
the living paint on kaleidoscopic canvas,
the captured amazing scene awfully wonderful.

Premium MemberAn Euphonious Mellow Sound

the euphonious sound wafted in through my open window
it was mellow, honeyed, mellifluous
not a flute, not a dulcimer
an ethereal, angelic sound
my soul wanted to hear more
there was a soft subtle mellifluence to it
it was silver-toned
I looked up, expecting to see an angel appear
horrified instead by the presence of an angry grim reaper
you are supposed to come to the window and lean out!
he chased me around the room waving his scythe.

Premium MemberIf I Could Play the Violin

If I could play the violin
     I'd write a melody
   euphonious to draw you in
        and play my rhapsody
to bring a smile to your dear face
     and calm the storm within
if I could play the violin

If I could play the saxophone
      with timbre silvery
I'd paint a poem of pure tone
         to laud your alchemy
for you turn iron into gold
      and granite to gemstone
if I could play the saxophone

If I could coax an oboe's tone
      a dulcet sound divine
to craft a raft for you to own -
         a musical lifeline
when waves have knocked you off your course
      when winter winds have blown
I'd play a soothing oboe tone

If I could sing a heaven-sent
      anthem or hymn profound
   I wouldn't need an instrument
         when you feel nearly drowned
   I'd whisper arias of hope
      my mouthpiece, bow, and strings
are prayers for God to heal your wings
and soar beside as heaven sings.

Premium MemberKiss Me Forever

How lovely and warm we feel
Beneath the wonderful lilac tree,
a spectacular single-stemmed and fragrant.
It attracts spring birds in their fine plumes.
Listen to their euphonious songs.
Melodies creating soft musical notes.

But my mind is elsewhere in heavenly bliss.
How much I appreciate your perfume
A Gucci perfect Dolce expensive,
Light blue Eou de Toilette Spray
Delicate and enticing, inviting all the time.

We sit close to each other, an invitation
From my love she echoes: kiss me, kiss me hard
As if this is our last time for even the thought
Makes me tremble with fear. So much fear.

So many are just one timer, and then they leave.
Let it not be the same for us, as we bond forever.
So, kiss me hard and look into my eyes.
Do you perceive the love I have for you?
So, kiss me again and again as if this will never end.
I need no further invitation.
My heart is filled with euphoric bliss.
Our kiss, so passionate, will last for ever.

Dreamy Reality

Looking at that makes me believe in ,
Refined old school love thats so exquisite
Which makes me feel that the moon is the
'pie of the sky',
moon, a place where fairy tales exist
Where mythical- legendary tales can be seen
A place where unreal thoughts become real
Where today's wild-toxic love becomes pure
A place where every word sounds euphonious
Where i can see ether from above
And feel dreamy.
But,
.
.
.
Damn! it's real.
