Notes About The Poem

A quick 3 min poem I wrote for my son..

I woke up to his message today "I'm sorry I haven't been a very good son lately" and it broke my heart that he had a sleepless night, thinking he is not very good. So I wrote this and sent it to him and for the first time he said " wow i love it" to a poem I've written hah! 

To my beloved Sun

O beloved Sun, that gently warms my soul,  
with soft strings of saffron and golden shine,  
I write this poem with symphonic stardust,  
when euphonious memories soar above  
clusters of sapphire butterflies,  
when rainbows reflect a glow of nostalgia.  
Allow the inked verses within  
these maternal veins~  
remind you to close your sleepless eyes,
and listen to your evergreen heart.  
Fear not the unknown that veils your vibrancy;  
there’s a song that lingers amidst tuneless skies,  
with every note inscribed with your dulcet name,  
for I pray for you in sanguine silence…  

You will always be the lyrical light  
guiding me to the reveries of redolent lilies.  
You are the poetic reason,
I breathe phrases of hope,
when the orchid moon melts into orchards of nothingness…

   Love always and evermore,
        mother….

A mother's love is unconditional and her heart beats for her child. This poem will leave an indelible mark on your son's heart, I can assure. As always great use of metaphors and light alliteration like 'sangria silence" and a very metaphorical verse in "orchid moon melts into orchards of nothingness." You sound like an amazing mother who care so deep from the heart for your son, just like my mum does for me... He is lucky to have you as a mum, one who sacrifices everything for his happiness and I hope he will always be your lyrical light.
