END OF DAYS

In shadows cast on crumbling walls,
A world once vibrant, now enthralls.
Sunset's blaze, a final dance,
As echoes fade, in apocalyptic trance.

Whispers of winds through barren lands,
Silent cries on shifting sands.
A symphony of chaos, nature's last breath,
Embracing demise, the dance of death.

Stars extinguished, night's canvas bare,
Moon weeps softly, a lone despair.
Cities echo ghostly tales,
As the end unfurls,

End time dramas continue 
to unfold as foretold 
tribes of Judah and 
Gad united in ether
descending conspiring 
to pull Matrix strings 
across rooms boom
death Will hidden 
documents forged
a trigger activates
illicit action
Centre remains perfection 
resurrection 

Claim no marriage for 
money honeyed 
both are paper thin
dust speckled dragonflies 
glide into geraniums cry
Truth mourns 
hen-chicken

Religious young mind destroyed by violent computer games

The day that Armageddon came,
he thought the entire thing was kind of lame.
Nothing but the noise and smoke of a fiery battle,
and people, left and right, bloodily slaughtered like cattle ~
not much different really from any other mediocre computerized game.

Burger Kissing or Banquet Feasting?

We have hungerly kissed
        lovely, lifeless corpses
        when eating plants and animals,
        which daily nourish our bodies.

But do we pay our proper respects
        to those dearly departed

Time slips by as the wind whispers through the trees,
Waving hands fly like the movement of the breeze
And families pray for those they love, all because,
Time gave hope, time restored, welcome home;
Yet every blessing stems from dedication honed in time,
While days with family take the love to better heights,
Giving surety that God is on his

Waiting for Waiting’s End

The chancy countdown clock of my mortality
is ticking toward some unknown preset alarm.
I’m aware of every taciturn tick tock
in unrecoverable moments spent waiting
for something to happen…
and I do not wait well.

I wait for stiff slices of tanned toast to pop up.
I wait for the microwave’s proclamatory ping.
I wait for endless dreary drizzle to stop.

It will always be the end 
Until it really is 
It is never the beginning 
Until it’s too late to realize

As the gold leaves on the ginkgo fall,
Upon the cold autumn earth.
I think how the winter winds
Sound, as they whip as if in mirth.

Winter is upon us, cold lies ahead.
