I see the way the trees sway when your name leaves my lips
I hear the screams of their howls and the thoughts they wish to blow away
Their thoughts, 
My thoughts, 
Our thoughts,
They become whole, they become one 
Together with nature, yet keep me grounded 
I still think about you, I see us in the stars

Almost asleep,

she floats 
where walls 
melt like 
sugar in rain.

Her breath

her skin 
becomes sky, 
her heart

all the hearts 
that ever beat.

In this
soft place 
between yes and no, 
between here and there,

Here's tulsi for the bruises where life's pain sits.

I'm the crucible's fire, shaping an alchemist’s design,
An emotional release, making every space divine.

Idiosyncratic Introspection 

Fear turned inward can only eventually present outward in its expression 
Tears are trepidatious when dealing with years of emotional repression 
Lear as in the King was another vehicle for literary confession 
Clear as water from a river bed that keeps your mind flowing in thoughtful procession

Culmination of such tension brings a terse

And so I wrote another poem, love
Are there any regrets running through your mind,
Or was it just me all along?
You kept telling me it’s because of your idleness,
Yet I long for something more

And so I wrote another poem, love
Is there any pain in your heart,
Or was it just me all along?
You kept speaking of promises,
Yet

I WOULD, I WISH, MAYBE, MAYBE NOT

I would numb the pain if I had the chance,
I would sew back all the hurt
I would go back in time to just take away the pain,
But I can't it's too late.

I would live back the memories,
I would laugh back at the jokes
I would freeze the moment when I did not have to break down

Emotion

An African drum throbs from a distance.
It is heyday and there is rejoicing.
But ululations surround me suddenly, and tensions
Climb gently the steps of a dancing heaven.
As my lobes grow softer and my hair stands
On the grounds of love,
I sense the throbs on my hollow soul,
Near, yet so far, for the wretched wench
Whose sweet eyes I
