Educations Poems | Examples

Issue, Iridescence

Issue, O Iridescence!
Luminesce on the sly.
Pore over, phosphorescence?
Oh yes, and here is why!

Students of the nebula!
Empire has its cost!
Best to keep it regular?
That or deal of Faust!

Sauced, are ye, wild warriors?
Well, at times it's best.
Lost and sinking? Sail azures!
Tours and boors need rest.

Zest, O mighty zephyr!
Boreal pole, hear all!
Have you seen the lost heifer?
My! Io, give a call...

Fall, when winter, taciturn;
Sends the snow and ice;
Sullen, silent, spares to spurn;
Miracled device;

What will avail travelers?
High road, one with us?
Gods of death, synthetic furs?
Bile and blunderbuss!

Muss on heads of wearied folk?
That is not good news.
O for eggs with scrambled yolk!
Doom, Death, disabuse...

Channeled communications?
Be sure to precise read.
Otherwise re-educations!
Draw bead, O my greed!

Weed atop the giant's mound?
Zero Lost and Found?
O ye serpents, hissing sound?
Next below the ground...

Warning? Dark fire, warming?
O locusts on the air:
Sudden is thy swarming?
Life, ladies, is not fair...

Bloodlines

Far from educations superstition
In the barren fields they planted their tyranny
Where the pagan made a cross of stars
In the green lands of their mysticism

Yet still by ancient tongue they have spoken
Be they a black tooth the rule of pontiff
And by tax and gold brought their destruction
And lay it on the bloody wrists of Jesus

Here they hammered sacrifice
Hard they tortured the thorns of Christ
And here by fat they stole the command
Broken heart to the inquisition's hand

Depart now your Isis and Diana
Succumb to this a worship of stone
To the virgin pray
For your sisters have no salvation

Dammed they say be Magdalene Eve
Such sinful opression shall walk with thee
Let shame beset and be thy burden
Never hence by our decree will you stand again in union

In barren lands they did sequester their tyranny
And hidden amongst you a scar so bitter in time
And by foul and twisted philosophy
Come with promise and redemptions prejudice
To break you from your bloodlines

Where once the pagan made a cross of stars
And by the heavens wrote their mysticism
To be humbled at the feet of woman
Life so tenderly given to raising up the son of man

Ignorance

Someone told that "The only thing more expensive than education is ignorance"

Oh yes, I'm not undone!
I'm most expensive than anyone!
I wanted to be ignorant; it's not fun!

Education! what a silly passion for learning
By this, people run behind the big earning
What the blind fashion of knowledge
Biased education brings the stained pitch

Nowadays, I forget all my educations
I keep myself into the chain of ignorant motion
Consequently all biased learned applause me
And the earthly income makes me rich and piety
That's why I say-
"Ignorance is expensive
when all kind of educations are
ignored by the ignorance!"

You can think of this
pandemic as an novel
slowly unfolding.

We are characters
caught up in the plot - we're the
heroes and villains.

We bring our desires,
educations, biases and
social reflexes.

All the small sins and
great vanities of mankind
have a home in us.

The challenges we
face, in chapters yet turned
would scare the angels.

Will, we, the people,
psychologically flinch
in this, our great hour?

If so, expect no
Crispian Day speech of legend
to mark our passing.

Teach Me

Teach me
Yeah teach the love in peace,
the right path of the heart
where I learn the insight

Teach me-
I am not for myself,
Honey bees hoard honey
in the hive not for own,
Flowers beauty and fragrance
for beautifying and refreshing surroundings
not for own,
Shadow of the banyan tree
burning itself under the summer scorching Sun
not for own,
Sweet fruits not for its tree, not sweet for itself,
Water is life not for itself,
Air is life not for itself

Teach me
ultimately
nobody is for anybody,
nothing is for anything

I want to learn all through insight
Teach me every present righteous light
I am a universal student
from cradle to a graveyard,
but all educations for me doesn't it

History Repeats

Society! A sad state of affairs.
Corporate, owned. The stores pushing their wares.
Politics, ambiguous. No truth found.
Majority vote. Yet, the loser, crowned.
Divided we stand. The land is not free.
Upward you rise if you have the money.
Our brightest kids, dreams never realized.
Educations cost just too super sized.
Classism, racism drives caste system.
Open your eyes. Should be "us" against "them".
Social media, engendering strife.
Corrupt media, divides like a knife.
Another empire comes to a close.
You're warning. Revolution ended those.

College educations certainly aren't readily available to all.
Some are totally awed by exorbitant tuition expense.
Boys and girls of good intenions must apply
for available scholarships as soon as possible,
expecting to adhere to academic rules
and demanding of themseves only best efforts.
Starting as freshmen in highschool, ambitious students
aim for a scholarship of worth as part of their educational future.
Every teacher, in knowledge of the enormous price of good educations
will acquaint her adolescent pupils of current opportunities.
Parents, eager to assist their adolescent children,
add sacrifice of self and treasury assets.
Combined efforts keep our future as bright as past attainments.

A Sonnet For My Wife On Mother's Day

When we met you were "The Talented Miss Glory"
And I laughed at your little joke.
But over the years I've come to see
The truth that your "title" spoke.

You're a teacher of kids, about...everything
Your students are so blessed.
Some kids have above average educations,
Our kids have the best.

You make everyone feel special
You always put others first
When someone's in need and you can help
You jump right in headfirst.

You rise to every challenge, I'm amazed at what you've endured.
So When it comes to things that describe you, Talented's the word.
