Made dog house out of Legos,
as colorful as could be,
Bad storm came out of no where, 
now the doggie … sleeps with me.

The Dog House

My house was made
for a family of three
So it turns out to be
two little doggies and me

When I shop at the grocery store
in my mind I can't ignore
Will the pooches like this too
It's something that I often do

Water bowls here and there
milkbones buried under chairs
The couch I cannot recline
because a doggy bed you'll find

My bulldog my bully to rip down my door.

My kitchen replenished with daily deliverance.

Visiting friends with some visiting dogs
As well as the two of their own,
Was to be the receiver of licks gone amok,
The slobbiest ones I have known.

For canines get cozy the minute they sense
That you'll be both receptive and kind
And then they unleash their affection as if
You're the best friend that they'll ever find.

I’m not the superstitious type, 
Let’s say I’m an agnostic. 
Last night, laying in bed, she told me 
she heard a strange noise in the house,
to which I said, maybe the house is haunted,
to which she said, well if it is, I’m out of here.

That got me thinking.  What if it is haunted?

It's very late and I'm still awake.
The house is still without a quake
The sounds outside are still and quiet
makes me feel uneasy by it.

The sound of sleep fills the air
